Abstract Raffmetal EN AB-Al Cu4MgTi is a heat-treatable, aluminum-copper-magnesium-titanium casting alloy in ingot form for remelting. It is used for producing sand, permanent mold, and investment castings for applications requiring high strength at temperatures up to 200 °C (390 °F). This alloy’s outstanding mechanical properties makes it a serious alternative to steel. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on casting, machining, and joining.
