Wireless cellular telephones are extremely popular, especially now that they incorporate text messaging and picture capabilities. At the same time the speeds of cellular networks keep increasing with the establishment of 3G networks and the recent announcement of soon to be deployed 4G networks which will have speeds up to 1.5 megabits per second. However, advancements in established 802.11 Wi-Fi mesh networking technology could overtake the cellular phone system by providing a more efficient and cheaper network while providing a faster, more flexible, more reliable and more useful network. Perhaps the idea of a Wi-Fi portable SIP phone, using VoIP, which is connected to the regular Internet at speeds up to 6 megabits per second and which can be used anywhere in the world where there is a Wi-Fi network might be more appealing to the consumer.

In the face of the advance of new technologies that has been occurring and reaching all sectors of society, this article presents a discussion guided by scholars about the changes that are occurring in education. It is important to think of how you can use so many resources available today while providing power changes in the teaching-learning process which until then was seen as something static and conservative. The task of the teacher in the twenty-first century is no longer ready to take the knowledge to the student, but rather has the role of acting as a mediator and facilitator in the process of knowledge construction. The changes that are taking place have led educators to seek knowledge and expertise so that they can perform satisfactorily their role in society.

From the 1990s onwards, several international agreements were signed with the objective of universalizing education. Such action was strengthened at the World Education Forum in Dakar, Senegal in 2000, where 164 countries, including Brazil, signed a commitment to provide Education for all - EPT. To make this possible, it was established as one of the commitments to raise new information and communication technologies to support the effort to reach the EPT goals. Since then, numerous actions have been developed for the insertion of Information and Communication Technologies - ICT's in Education. However, this is not only a reality in Education, as nowadays we are immersed in new technologies, making us have new ways of interacting, communicating and learning. In this context, there has also been an expansion of cell phone use by the population for various purposes. Thus, bringing this instrument as an ally in the teaching-learning process becomes of great value. Thus, a literature review research was carried out, observing the use of cell phones from two perspectives: in general use by the Brazilian population and from the perspective of legislation, in order to contextualize the use of cell phones as an educational resource in contemporary times. At the end, as a result of this article, three studies are presented that demonstrate the use of cell phone applications in the school environment and finally expose four applications for the use of cell phones as an educational resource for continuing education and in the teaching-learning process.

In 21st century, developing communication and technology usage has increased people's interest and need for English and made English a common language in many fields such as science, culture, art, and economy. In this context, important changes have been made in English curricula in Turkey like many countries. In this study, the curricula between the years 1973-2017 were examined and discussed within the framework of similarities and differences. The study is conducted by qualitative research method. The curricula were examined based on the original and official document by using document analysis. When the findings were examined, it was understood that from 1973 to 2017, students became responsible for their own learning, teachers were transformed into guides and the learning-teaching environment was tried to be created in more technological structures. It has been observed that in the curricula of 2014 and beyond, the concepts of information and communication technologies, culture and values were dominant. During the assessment process, it was observed that classical assessment methods gave way to alternative assessment methods. According to the results, since development is a holistic process, more emotional and psychomotor objectives could be included in new curricula. Student motivation can increase positively with themes that appeal to students' interests more. New technologies should be introduced into teaching-learning process.

Ambulatory assessment of emotional states as well as psychophysiological, cognitive and behavioral reactions constitutes an approach, which is increasingly being used in psychological research. Due to new developments in the field of information and communication technologies and an improved application of mobile physiological sensors, various new systems have been introduced. Methods of experience sampling allow to assess dynamic changes of subjective evaluations in real time and new sensor technologies permit a measurement of physiological responses. In addition, new technologies facilitate the interactive assessment of subjective, physiological, and behavioral data in real-time. Here, we describe these recent developments from the perspective of engineering science and discuss potential applications in the field of neuropsychology.
