Poultry farming in Indonesia is still not successful in meeting some of the domestic needs, including being vulnerable to attacks by dangerous animal diseases. People are also restless because of dangerous diseases from chickens that can be transmitted to humans due to consuming chicken meat that has been infected with the disease. The case study in conducting research to diagnose free-range chicken disease was carried out at the Bang Ari Chicken Farm on Jalan Jamin Ginting Pamen Complex No.14 Padang Bulan, Medan Baru District, Medan City. The required criteria data is the type of disease and symptoms of the disease that attacks native chickens as well as the treatment actions that will be taken against the diseased chickens according to the disease experienced. This study aims to build a web-based expert system in diagnosing free-range chicken diseases using the certainty factor method. From the case example, the results of the calculation of certainty factor on the symptoms of free-range chickens, the disease that has the largest percentage value is P 7, namely Chronic Cough Disease of 97.50%. The system for diagnosing free-range chicken disease was built using a web-based programming language and MySQL database.

Therefore, this study aims to perform a comparative analysis between the investment analysis in the poultry sector for deterministic and stochastic method. The methodology used is quantitative, descriptive and case study and the data were collected through structured interview and documentary research. The results reveal that the deterministic analysis suggests that investment is infeasible due to the NPV < 0 and the IRR < TMA. Stochastic analysis of investment through the @Risk software to consider risks that may interfere in the poultry sector, suggests that there is a likelihood of 44.43% NPV ≥ 0 and a likelihood of 40.9% of the IRR ≥ TMA. Stochastic analysis does not exclude, but covers the deterministic analysis, the stochastic exhibits the information and data with greater consistency and assertiveness. It isconcluded that the stochastic analysis strengthens the decision on investment, because upon including the risks and generating scenarios presents the percentage chance of investment as feasible or infeasible. Keywords: Feasibility Analysis. The study has explored the impact of agriculture radio programs among rural farmers to increase their productivity and quality of life in rural area. It represents the positive effects of radio program on farmers who use to listen agriculture radio program regularly. This qualitative study was carried out by basic observation, focus group discussion, and in-depth interview as data collection tools. The study revealed that agriculture radio program had changed the knowledge, attitudes and practise of the farmers to increase productions. Agriculture radio programs were associated with various factual and fruitful activities, such as planting hybrid rice, off-season vegetables, using modern technique of farming, goat farming, poultry farming etc through agriculture radio programs. Enough resources, technical knowhow and incentives are crucial for the enhancement of the standards of life of farmers as well as their productivity.

This paper presents the results of studies of regional specialization and territorial concentration in agriculture. The poultry meat branch was chosen as the object of research. This is one of the most dynamically developing sectors of agriculture in Russia. Modified localization coefficients were used as a method for detecting the territorial concentration of the sector. The analysis showed that more than half of the output of poultry meat products was concentrated in the territory of 12 regions of Russia. The largest localization of poultry farming is in the center of the European part of the country, near large cities. The level of territorial concentration of the poultry meat sector increased significantly over the period of 2004–2017. The localization coefficients of the regions that specialize in poultry meat production have more than doubled. There is an increase in “polarity” in the specialization of regions. Some regions continue to increase the production of poultry meat, the level of regional specialization is growing. In other regions, poultry production is declining. Taking the poultry meat sector as a case study, it has been shown that the processes of regional specialization and territorial localization are increasing in Russian agriculture.

Poultry farming from last decade earn a good name in terms of income and employment generation in Kashmir valley. Taking this point as our concern we go through the cost benefit of poultry farming in Kashmir valley. As our study area is district Anantnag and we take one medium size poultry farm as our sample. The study shows that the income from poultry farming is so reasonable and normal profits are earned with less effort. So government should have to think about this industry and support them financially and give them new information’s and training regarding poultry farming through which the production and productivity increase. .

The article presents the results of research on the location and territorial concentration in agriculture. The research object is egg poultry farming, which has been one of the most stable agriculture branches in Russia for decades. The method of modified location quotients was used to analyze territorial concentration. The analysis showed that the placement of egg poultry had changed drastically in 2004–2019. Russian regions have employed opposed strategies. In many regions, egg poultry farms have been closed or repurposed. Several regions are successfully developing the industry, and egg production in these territories is several times higher than domestic needs. Ten regions of Russia with a location quotient higher than 2.0 were identified. The volume of interregional exchange is growing at a faster pace. In 2004, the regions exported 30% of the egg production, and by 2019, the share increased to 51%. Location specialization and optimization of egg farms provide economic and social benefits. With the growth of the size of enterprises, their financial stability increases. Cost-saving opportunities, increased egg production, and competition between producers in the domestic market help to hold prices down.
