Automatic labor performance measurement is a challenging area of research. Little work has been done in this area due to its complexity and the absence of adequate research tools. The authors used the approach of indirect parameters to automate the performance measurement. In this approach, the location of the worker is measured as a function of time and special algorithms convert these data into labor inputs, or productivity. Research in this area requires a reliable method, or tool, for workers location measurement ‐ such a tool does not exist. Three methods of location measurement are examined in this paper as research tools for automated labor control: (1) manual simulation of location measurement, (2) GPS, and (3) video photography. The first two methods were found to be subjective, inaccurate and unreliable. The third was found to be suitable for the purpose of the present research. This method uses a classical time‐lapse technique, together with a video‐based method developed in the present research. Santrauka Automatizuotas darbu atlikimo ivertinimas yra aktuali tyrimu sritis. Šioje srityje nera atlikta daug tyrimu del jos sudetingumo ir tinkamu tyrimo priemoniu stokos. Ivertinimui automatizuoti autoriai taike netiesioginiu rodikliu būda. Šiame tyrime darbininko buvimo vieta matuojama kaip laiko funkcija ir naudojant specialius algoritmus šie duomenys konvertuojami i darbo ivesties duomenis, t. y. darbo našuma. Šio pobūdžio tyrimams reikia patikimo metodo ar priemones darbininku buvimo vietai nustatyti. Tačiau tokios priemones nera. Šiame tyrime nagrinejami trys vietos nustatymo metodai kaip automatizuotos darbo jegos kontroles priemones: 1) buvimo vietos nustatymo modeliavimas rankiniu būdu; 2) GPS; 3) fotografavimas. Pirmieji du metodai pasirode subjektyvūs, netikslūs ir nepatikimi. Nustatyta, kad trečiasis metodas tinkamas atliekamo tyrimo tikslui. Taikomas klasikinis chronometravimo būdas kartu su vaizdo irašymo metodika, parengta šio tyrimo metu.

The purpose in this research was to determine the performance of amil zakat institutions (laz) on zakat success. The measurement methods used by the prime performance measurement methods issued by IMZ in the 2011 Indonesian Zakat and Development Report (IDZR) consist of a proportion of the five components of the OPZ measurement including: (1) Sharia compliance, legality and institutional performance, (2) Management performance, ( 3) Financial performance (4) Performance of economic empowerment, and (5) Performance of social legitimacy. the results of the performance evaluation of Zakat Sukses are for assessments of shariah compliance, legality and institutional performance, achieving the highest score of getting a score (7.6) or rating B. The second best rating is in terms of management with a total value (6.6), then following successively the third best ranking. namely financial performance, economic empowerment performance and legistimacy performance with a total value (6). Overall, the value obtained is (6.46) or C. This it can be concluded that in general, the performance of Zakat Sukses is quite good. therefore a small value does not mean the performance of zakat institutions results in poor performance, but rather because of the unavailability of data for assessment on related components. for that LAZ Zakat Success to continue to strive to complete the shortcomings.

PURPOSE: This research sought to study Platelet-Rich Plasma therapy (PRP) and prolotherapy for shoulder pain and dysfunction related to symptomatic biceps tendinopathy, and to judge effective results.MATERIALS AND METHODS: We selected 100 cases that had significant inflammatory effusion of the biceps tendon (that was shown on MRI), and was refractory to conservative treatment. The cases were followed up for more than one year and were divided into 2 groups. The 1st group received PRP therapy; the 2nd group received prolotherapy under sonographic guidance. We evaluated results for visual analog score (VAS), (Korean Shoulder Society Score (KSS), UCLA Score, Constant Shoulder Score (CSS) for 12 months.RESULTS: There was no significant difference between the 2 groups in the first month after the procedure. However, in the third, sixth, and twelfth months after the procedure, the 1st group showed significant improved results for VAS, KSS, UCLA, and CSS scores compared to the 2nd group (p<0.05).CONCLUSION: Among nonsurgical treatments, both PRP and prolotherapy could be effective against biceps tendinopathy. But, PRP treatment is considered as more reliable method than prolotherapy for maintaining effective results.

This study aims to build a performance measurement system of zakat institutions from the perspective of maqashid sharia and sharia enterprise theory. This study embarks from previous studies focusing on the performance measurement methods applied to the zakat institutions. Understanding of maqashid sharia in this paper refers to the concept formulated by Al Ghazali and Ibn Ashur. Their applications in contemporary research can be found in various studies. This paper concludes that performance measurement based on maqashid sharia for Islamic bank can be used by zakat institution, by making various adjustments according to the characteristics of zakat institutions. In addition, this study also designed a performance scorecard to assess the performance of zakat institutions based on the perspective of maqashid sharia and sharia enterprises theory. From the scorecard, the zakat institution can calculate the zakat management index from a broader perspective.

As yet, there is no known reliable method for directly measuring the thrust of a turbofan in flight. Manufacturers of civil turbofans use various indirect thrust measurements to indicate performance of an engine to the flight deck. Included among these are: Engine Pressure Ratio (EPR), Integrated Engine Pressure Ratio (IEPR), Fan mechanical speed (N1), and various Turbine Gas Temperatures such as ITT or EGT. Of key concern is whether these thrust indicators give an accurate account of the actual engine thrust. The accuracy of these methods, which are crucial at take-off, may be compromised by various types of common engine deterioration, to the point where a thrust indicator may give a false indication of the health and thrust of the engine. A study was done to determine the effect of advanced engine cycles on typical values of these parameters. A preliminary investigation of the effects of common kinds of turbofan deterioration was conducted to see how these faults can affect both actual engine performance and the indirect thrust indicators.

The aim of the chapter is to present the current state of knowledge concerning intellectual capital (IC) and its measurement methods. Although IC may be estimated on the micro, macro, and industry level, this chapter deals with the IC measurement on the enterprise level explicitly. The first part of the chapter is concentrated on the introduction to the IC and its main forms. The second presents the most common IC measurement methods, and the third part is the analysis of controversies and usability of chosen methods.
