В статье рассмотрены уравнения анизотропной теории пластического течения в пространственном случае. На основе группы непрерывных преобразований, допускаемой системой, построено инвариантное решение. В случае однородного напряженного состояния найдено новое поле скоростей. Это поле имеет функциональный произвол. We considered the equations of the anisotropic theory of plastic flow in the spatial case in this study. We have constructed an invariant solution based on the group of continuous transformations allowed by the system. In the case of a homogeneous stress state, a new velocity field is found. This field has a functional arbitrary value.

In this article, the yielding and plastic flow of a rapid-prototyped ABS compound was investigated for various plane stress states. The experimental procedures consisted of multiaxial tests performed on an Arcan device on specimens manufactured through photopolymerization. Numerical analyses were employed in order to determine the yield points for each stress state configuration. The results were used for the calibration of the Hosford yield criterion and flow potential. Numerical analyses performed on identical specimen models and test configurations yielded results that are in accordance with the experimental data.

The influence of deviations of the shape of the cross-sections of pipes from roundness on the axisymmetric stress state and taking this factor into account in theoretical studies and methods for solving problems of mandrel drilling in the elastic-plastic mode are considered. The features of the choice of tubular blanks, which help to reduce the unevenness of deformation and increase the accuracy of processing in the process of mandrel drilling, are revealed. Recommendations are given for eliminating the variance in wall thickness of blanks at the stage of their preparation for the mandrel operation.

Analyses of plastic instabilities are reviewed, with focus on results in structural mechanics as well as continuum mechanics. First the basic theories for bifurcation and post-bifurcation behavior are briefly presented. Then, localization of plastic flow is discussed, including shear band formation in solids, localized necking in biaxially stretched metal sheets, and the analogous phenomenon of buckling localization in structures. Also some recent results for cavitation instabilities in elastic-plastic solids are reviewed.
