In the current educational climate in the world today, there is an increasing use of technology and social media for learning, by both students and language teachers. With this in mind, and to meet the perceived associated need for students to have increasing abilities and skills to study autonomously and independently, a new e-learning platform (Moodle) was introduced to Unitec, a tertiary institution in Auckland, New Zealand. This paper describes how the Moodle site has been developed since inception and how it is used within the Department of Language Studies to facilitate both English as an Additional Language (EAL) for online support and for the development of autonomy.

The use of e-learning in the learning process at Amikom Purwokerto University has been implemented since early 2019 by utilizing the ILIAS e-learning platform. The problem that arises is whether students are satisfied and intend to continue using the ILIAS platform for the online learning process during the pandemic period and afterwards where there are still many obstacles experienced by students during online lectures. This study aims to assess the behavioral intention of Amikom Purwokerto University students to use ILIAS as an online learning platform by adopting the UTAUT2 (Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2) model. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it shows that each variable has a significant effect and has a significant impact on the use of ILIAS, this is evidenced by each hypothesis being accepted with a t-value> 1.96. Based on the t-value, the variable Performance Expectancy, Facilitating Condition and Habit is the variable with the highest t-value among the other variables, namely (PE -> BI = 16.8709), (FC -> UB = 13.4742) and (HB - > UB = 12.6896). This shows that these three variables have a high significant influence and impact on the use of ILIAS. In further research, it may be possible to consider the use of moderating variables such as age, gender, experience, and so on or add other variables such as Security and Information Quality.

The new coronavirus disease that was first identified in Wuhan, China, is referred to as the 2019 coronavirus disease pandemic (COVID-19). The impact of this pandemic has affected various fields, one of which is education, and one of the consequences is the implementation of online teaching and learning processes. In this digital era, Telkom University is implementing CeLOE LMS as an E-Learning medium. CeLOE Learning Management System (LMS) is an online learning platform for regular and distance education study programs at Telkom University. For the application of CeLOE LMS, there has been no report that contains user acceptance of the use of CeLOE LMS that tested with an integrated model. Therefore, the solution offered by this research was to conduct an analysis to determine user acceptance of the application of the CeLOE LMS system by using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) Model at Telkom University to produce report that can be used as a basis for further decision making by Telkom University in managing its services as the UTAUT Model attempts to clarify the intentions of students to use an information system and the usage actions of students. From this research, it was found that the CeLOE LMS has been accepted and used by Telkom University students with all hypotheses accepted, Performance Expectancy as the variable with the greatest influence, and it needs improvements related to technical infrastructure, organizational infrastructure, and socialization of CeLOE LMS due to the influence of Facilitating Conditions variable was the lowest.

E-learning is an inevitable trend in modern education. Despite much research on E-learning based on cloud computing, research on the adoption and use of cloud-based E-learning in Vietnam as well as in the world remains limited. This study adopts the extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) to research on the model of acceptance and use of E-learning based on cloud computing in Vietnam. Result shows that factors such as performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating condition, hedonic motivation and habit affect the intention and use of cloud-based E-learning. The model explains 75% of variance in intention and use of cloudbased E-learning.

ABSTRACT: This paper describes a case study that was developed in a public music school in the state of Minas Gerais. The research aimed at assessing the use of the Moodle platform to approach parents in the musical development of students from the 1st cycle of the music education course, aimed at attending children from 6 to 8 years old. In this cycle, children are introduced to the world of music studies and need all the support to make them feel comfortable. Often, the parents' lack of musical knowledge makes it impossible to support their children, who become unmotivated and often even lock up their courses. This article presents the results of the research that includes conducting interviews, conducting activities in the virtual educational environment and analyzing access reports of participants, provided by the e-learning platform itself. As a result, it was found that this tool can contribute significantly in bringing parents closer to the learners' accompaniment in their musical activities and consequently in students’ motivation and learning. Human communication plays a vital role; without communicating, day-to-day tasks seem difficult to complete. And the world has an almost 5% population that struggles with hearing or speaking disability, which contributes to 430 million people worldwide, and this will grow up to 900million just in the next 25 to 30 years. With the increasing noise pollution, hearing capacity degrades, leading to various hearing problems. The WHO statistics show that 32million kids are acoustically impaired. With disabilities, there are multiple issues these people face, such as lack of learning facilities, job opportunities, communication platforms, etc. These people need a cooperative environment to express, learn at their pace and level of understanding. This paper focuses on developing an application that bridges the gap between these acoustically disabled people and people unknown to their way of communication. The proposed research is an edge device application provides features like a gesture to text, speech to text, e-learning platform, and Alert mechanism. This paper majorly focuses on developing a friendly all in one platform for mute and deaf community for communication, learning and emergency alerts. The research was conducted with two approaches the traditional CNN and Tensorflow lite Efficient Net model to train the ASL (American Sign Language) dataset for the communication platform, where we obtained accuracy of 98.91% and 98.82% respectively. To overcome the computational barriers of traditional CNN approach, Tensorflow lite Efficient Net model was brought into the picture. The proposed methodology would help build a platform for the deaf and mute community to express themselves better and gain wider exposure to the world.
