<p><em>Abstrak</em><strong> - </strong><strong>Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif mengenai “<em>Personal</em></strong><strong><em> </em></strong><strong><em>Branding</em></strong><strong> Valentino Simanjuntak sebagai Komentator Olahraga di Media Televisi”.</strong><strong> </strong><strong>Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis bagaimana penerapan personal branding yang dilakukan oleh Valentino Simanjuntak sebagai komentator olahraga di media televisi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian</strong><strong> </strong><strong>analisis deskriptif. Paradigma yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah <em>post-positivisme</em> karena peneliti ingin membuktikan dan menganalisa suatu fenomena yang terjadi pada subjek penelitian dengan berpedoman teori yang sudah ada dan berpaku pada suatu teori. Dalam objek penelitian penulis memilih Valentino Simanjuntak sebagai informan kunci, lalu memilih Ary Sapari dan Petrus Tomy Wijanarko sebagai informan pendukung dan memilih Dra. Dewi Taviana Walida, Psi, Psikolog sebagai informan ahli. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam melakukan personal branding, Valentino Simanjuntak hadir sebagai komentator olahraga di media televisi </strong><strong>yang memiliki ciri khas variasi ragam bahasanya saat menjadi komentator olahraga yaitu slang, jargon, akrolek, dan ken</strong><strong> </strong><strong>dengan</strong><strong> s</strong><strong>ebelas karaktersitik personal branding yaitu keaslian, integritas, konsisten, spesialisasi, wibawa, kekhasan, relevan, terlihat, kegigihan, nama baik, dan kinerja yang sudah cukup baik dan selaras. Akan tetapi, pada poin kewibawaan, untuk diakui sebagai ahli dalam bidang komentator olahraga Valentino Simanjuntak masih membutuhkan waktu dan proses lagi untuk memenuhi kriteria kewibawaan</strong><strong>.</strong></p><p><em>Abstract -<strong> </strong></em><strong>This research is a qualitative research on "Personal Branding Valentino Simanjuntak as Sports Commentator on Television Media". The purpose of this research is to analyze the way of applying personal branding carried out by Valentino Simanjuntak as a sports commentator on television media. This study uses qualitative methods with a type of descriptive analysis research. The paradigm used in this research is post-positivism because researchers want to prove and analyze the phenomena that occur in the subject of research by referring to existing theories and sticking to a theory.</strong><strong> </strong><strong>In the research object, the author cho</strong><strong>o</strong><strong>se Valentino Simanjuntak as the key informant, then cho</strong><strong>o</strong><strong>se Ary</strong><strong> </strong><strong>Sapari and Petrus</strong><strong> </strong><strong>Tomy</strong><strong> </strong><strong>Wijanarko as supporting informants and chose Dra. Dewi</strong><strong> </strong><strong>Taviana</strong><strong> </strong><strong>Walida, Psi, Psychologist as expert informant. The result of this research shows  that in conducting personal branding, Valentino Simanjuntak was present as a sports commentator on television media who has a uniqueness of language variation like slang, jargon , akrolek, and ken with</strong><strong> </strong><strong>eleven personal branding characteristics namely authenticity, integrity, consistency, specialization, authority, distinctiveness, relevant, visibility, persistence, goodwill, and performance. It is good enough and in harmony. This study discusses a pageant actor who developed a career after an international event competition. Many pageants do not realize that they have potential and end up blaming themselves. However, there are some pageant actors who have succeeded in developing their careers. The purpose of this study is to find out the concepts of personal branding in the career of a pageant actor after his return to defend Indonesia. The subject of this research was Mister Internasional Indonesia 2015 and the object of this study was personal branding. This study uses a qualitative research approach with phenomenological methods and descriptive analysis. This study concludes that personal branding of international pageant actors in this study, begins with self-mapping and setting career goals after international competition. Good self-mapping, clear goals, and self-introspection are believed to produce good quality in his career. The initial process in personal branding is based on the principle of persistence, which is unique in building good personal branding in career and life development. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai seorang pelaku pageant yang mengembangkan karir pasca kompetisi ajang internasional. Banyak pelaku pageant yang tidak menyadari bahwa dirinya mempunyai potensi dan berakhir dengan menyalahkan diri sendiri. Namun demikian, ada beberapa pelaku pageant yang berhasil mengembangkan karir mereka. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui konsep-konsep personal branding dalam karir seorang pelaku pageant setelah kepulangannya membela Indonesia. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah Mister Internasional Indonesia 2015 dan objek penelitian ini adalah personal branding.  Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi dan analisis secara deskriptif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa personal branding pelaku pageant internasional dalam penelitian ini, diawali dengan pemetaan diri dan menetapkan tujuan karir pasca kompetisi ajang internasional. Pemetaan diri yang baik, tujuan yang jelas, dan intropeksi diri diyakini akan menghasilkan kualitas yang baik dalam perjalanan karirnya. Proses awal dalam personal branding ini didasari prinsip persistensi, yang menjadi keunikan dalam membangun personal branding yang baik di dalam pengembangan karir dan kehidupan.

This research was motivated by the existence of interest and curiosity about why two villages are very close in the distance, which use the same language but have many differences in the use of vocabulary used in speaking in the daily life of the speech community. Using different vocabulary in the spoken community in Betung and Kesuma villages raises questions about the differences in vocabulary and what factors influence these differences. The research objective was to describe the difference in vocabulary between the two villages. This research is expected to become a reference for similar research and as material to add insight. This research uses vocabulary theory, language variation, and technique. This research is qualitative research using the descriptive analysis method. Data were collected using the method of observation, interviews, proficient listening, and note-taking techniques. The collected data is then reduced, displayed, concluded. Based on the research process that the author has carried out, it was found that the results of the study were the differences in the vocabulary of the Malay dialect used by the speech community between Betung Village and Kesuma Village. The author found 71 differences in vocabulary that will be analyzed based on semantic differences, namely synonyms. The author also found six differences in vocabulary that will be analyzed based on semantic differences, namely homonyms. The author also obtained the study results, namely the factors that influence the vocabulary used by the spoken community in Betung Village and Kesuma Village.

This research generally aims to develop personal branding research with social media. The previous research took Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter media, but this research focuses on personal branding on YouTube. This research method is a qualitative and descriptive method by observing Raditya Dika YouTube Channel and interviews with several Subribers Raditya Dika. The study describes the situations or events and does not seek links, hypotheses, or make predictions. In this research, the indicators of personal branding are authenticity,  integrity, consistency, specialization, authority, distinctiveness, relevance, visibility, persistence, goodwill, and performance. The subject of this research is Raditya Dika's YouTube channel, and the object of this research is a personal brand Raditya Dika through a personal YouTube channel. The results show that Raditya Dika can form, even enhance a positive image by establishing personal branding through YouTube.

The aims of this research is to desribe the implementation of constructive learning in Mathematics for Economic course and to gain knowledge about the result of this learning in improving students’ independence and performance. This is a class action research. The Subject of this research is all students following Mathematics for Economics course in Accounting Study Program. The total number of this subject is 49 people. To collect data, researcher uses observation, interviews, questionnaires, assignment and examination, and daily note. The data is analyzed by descriptive analysis. Based on data analysis, the percentation of students who are less independence before they study in class has been 47,17 %. It increases to 44,09 % in first cycle and 41,36 % in second cycle. However, there is an increase in the level of students’ independence because the percentage of students including in the level of less indepence and not indepence decreases significantly and those including in the level of indepence and very independence rises regularly. Therefore, it can be concluded that constructive learning can improve the students’ independence in studying mathematics for economics. It also can be shown in the result of students’ performance. Students’ performance measured by assignments and examinations also increases significantly since there isa tendency that more indepence may result in more performance.

Regional Election (Pilkada) has been held since 2005, both at the Provincial and Regency/City levels. Election implementation is regulated based on the principle of direct, general, free, confidential, honest and fair, in attracting the sympathy of the people the candidates develop a campaign model through Personal Branding. This concept emphasizes how prospective leaders can influence the people as voters to be willing to give their voting rights. The purpose of this study was to analyze the Personal Branding of a pair of candidates for the Mayor of Bogor City in 2018. The approach in this study was a qualitative research with descriptive analysis method. The results of the study are the personal branding conducted by each pair of candidates either directly or through the media turned out to have a lot of effects especially for millennial voters, but the candidate pair of Mayor of Bogor who did the most personal branding was only the candidate pair of Bogor Mayor elected, while the other pairs of Bogor mayor candidates still tend to use traditional patterns so that it is natural for the elected candidate pairs to win the hearts of voters.

Personal branding in the last ten years has been gaining significantly in popularity - especially in the business environment (Gehl, 2011; Wee & Brooks, 2010). Meanwhile, the literature still recognizes the need for empirical research on personal branding that examines how various professions experience personal branding. Managers are increasingly aware that the activities they perform as part of personal branding affect how the organization they represent is perceived. The aim of this article is to identify the process of building personal brands by managers. To achieve this goal, a literature review and qualitative research were carried out in the form of individual in-depth interviews. The choice of the research method is justified by the subject of the analysis. The study covered a group of nine people with at least two years of experience in a managerial position and employed in service companies located in Greater Poland. As a result of the conducted research, it was found that personal branding is perceived as a multi-stage process in which social media is credited with increasing use. In addition, organizations only support building personal brands by managers and executives. The article is a field for further exploration of publications and research.

This study was carried out to analyze and to classify the kinds and the source of students’ errors in writing negative sentences using simple present tense and simple present continuous tense. The purpose of this study were to describe kinds of the stundents’ errors in writing negative sentences and to find out the source of errors which the students made in writing negative sentences. The method used in this study was descriptive analysis research. Descriptive analysis in form qualitative research design applied in this study was case study. Furthermore, the subject of this study was the students of the seventh grade students of SMPN 13 Cirebon which consisted of 20 students. The data were collected through writing test and interview for students. The result of the analysis of students’ errors process showed that students committed errors into ten kinds of errors are made by students: 1. Omission, 2. Additional, 3. Misformation, 4. Misordering, 5. Omission and misformation, 6. Omission and misordering, 7. Additional and misordering, 8. Additional and misformation, 9. Omission and additional, 10. Misformation and misordering. Based on the finding of analysis, it showed the students made a total of 120 errors in catagory of verb which consist of 21 are omission, 22 are additional, 15 are misformation, 6 are misordering, 8 are omission and misformation, 20 are omission and misordering, 5 are additional and misordering, 10 are additional and mosformation, 10 are omission and additional, and 3 misformation and misordering. These errors were conducted because most of students were still influenced by their mother tongue and their Indonesian logical thinking (interlingual transfer). Besides, errors occurred because students generalized the rule and applied it incompletely (intralingual transfer). To sum up, it showed that the analysis of students’ errors in writing negative sentences using simple present tense and simple present continuous tense is difficult for students.

Penelitian ini dimulai dari latar belakang masalah lingkungan yang saat ini sedang menjadi sorotan akibat dari alih fungsi lahan, eksploitasi flora dan fauna, dan sebagainya. Tujuan pembuatan artikel jurnal yaitu mendeskripsikan kajian ekokritik dalam novel Kekal karya Jalu Kancana. Ekokritik adalah kajian yang mengkritisi lingkungan melalui karya sastra. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ekokritik yakni dengan mencari kutipan dalam karya sastra yang memuat nilai-nilai lingkungan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Kekal karya Jalu Kancana. Penelitian ini terfokus pada kajian ekokritik. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjuk pada kajian ekokritik dalam novel Kekal karya Jalu Kancana yang menggambarkan tentang perjuangan tokoh bernama Alit yang sedang menggaungkan program Save Ciharus untuk dapat terus mempertahankannya sebagai bagian dari upaya pelestarian lingkungan dari tangan kotor sebuah korporasi yang hanya mementingkan aspek ekonomi dibandingkan dengan aspek ekologi.Kata Kunci: Ekokritik, Kekal, Jalu Kancana This research start from the background of environmental problems that are currently in the spotlight as a result of land transfer, exploitation of flora and fauna, and etc. The purpose of journal is to describe the study of ecocriticism in the novel Kekal by Jalu Kancana. This research is qualitative research. The subject in this study was jalu Kancana's novel Kekal. This research focuses on ecocriticism studies. The data was analyzed using descriptive qualitative methods. The results point to the ecocriticism study in jalu Kancana's novel Kekal which describes the struggle of a figure named Alit who is promoting the Save Ciharus program to be able to continue to maintain it as part of environmental conservation efforts from the dirty hands of a corporation that only attaches importance to economic aspects compared to ecological aspects.Keywords: Ecocriticism, Kekal, Jalu Kancana

Bandung Square in Indonesia is a public outdoors that has many visitors from various regions. One of the parts that make up Bandung town square is sign boards as a symbol of written rules that all square visitors must obey. The background of this research is that Bandung town square is equipped with a lot of sign boards with different rules in every corner. Besides, civil service police units and public protection officers also take part in guarding around Bandung town square, so the researcher want to know more about the implementation of the rules contained in the Bandung town square because the researcher still found several violations. This study aims to determine the regulation implementation effectiveness of outdoors users in town square of Bandung. The advantages of this goal are as a reflection for social institutions in maintaining public regulation and as a reminder to town square visitors to be more obedient to the rules that applied to maintain comfort. This type of research is a qualitative research conducted using descriptive methods. Research data were collected using interviews with instruments in the form of questions about the subject matter. The data collected was described using qualitative-descriptive analysis. Based on data findings in the field, it shows that the implementation of the regulation in Bandung town square is quite effective, because there are still some violations found and their social institutions are still less firm and conducive in carrying out social control there. So, public order still has not been achieved according to the expected goals.

There are 2 purposes of conducting this study, (1) finding the errors commonly made in writing recount text by eighth grades students at SMPN 2 Seririt; and (2) finding the sources of the errors committed in writing recount text by eighth grades students at SMPN 2 Seririt. As a descriptive qualitative research, there were two main instruments used in this study, they were  the researcher and the sample of writing. After gaining the data, then descriptive analysis was conducted. From 30 students’ writing which were analyzed based on surface strategy taxonomy proposed by Dulay et al. (1982), it is found that there are 169 errors committed by the subject including 130 (77%) omission errors, 14 (8.28%) misordering errors, 13 (7.7%) misformation errors, and 12 (7.1%) addition errors. Omission error becomes the most frequent errors committed by the students. There are three types of errors sources found in this study, those are intralingual transfer (90.96%), interlingual transfer (7.22%), and context of learning (1.8%).
