To learn something well, we need to hear, see, ask questions about it, and discuss it with others. Not only that, teachers need to "do it", that is to describe something in their own way, to show their example, to try to practice their skills and to do tasks that demand the knowledge they have gained. Problems to be studied in this research are: a. How to improve learning result of Indonesian language especially about writing short story? b. Steps taken in improving learning outcomes Indonesian language ?.  The approach of this research uses a qualitative approach with classroom action research design, which is carried out cyclically. Cycle I with planning, action, observation, and reflection. Likewise the next cycles. In PTK as well as teachers can examine their own activities on their own done in its own class. By involving their students through planned, implemented and evaluated actions, TOD can be performed without interrupting other learning and will not burden the work of the teacher in performing daily tasks. PTK can be done in an integrated manner with daily activities. Precisely with PTK teachers can improve the quality of learning processes and products. The study considers the results or impact of classroom action research from various criteria based on reflections for revision. Reflection is a re-application of the lessons learned. The reflections are evaluations that have been made and suggestions for future learning.    Based on the description of researchers draw conclusions as follows: The ability of students to write short stories in class IV before using the method of writing (writing together) is categorized enough with the average value: 6.90 (unfinished). There is an increase in the ability to write short stories with the method of writing writing (writing together) grade IV students are categorized both with an average value of 7.69 (complete). This capability increases in cycle II and cycle III reaches an average value of 8.46 (complete). Matched material for writing short story experiences for students SDN 07 Pasar Salido is a material that suits the conditions, desires, experiences, and the ability to write short stories.

The purpose of the research was to explain and analyze the short story writing skills improvement grades X1 SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang in terms of characterization, plot, and setting. This type of research is a classroom action research that uses four stages in each cycle, including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted in two cycles. The data was collected through two main instruments, namely test and nontes. The test is used to collect data capability to write short stories, while the form of sheets nontes observation, field notes, and questionnaires were used to collect the data in the application of learning techniques paraphrasing poetry writing short stories. Analyzing data in accordance with the descriptive-analytical application of the concept of action research. Results of this study showed that the results of the students wrote short stories on pre-cycle obtain an average value of 58.89, cycle 1 with an average value of 77.04, and in cycle 2 the average score was 91.11.. The results showed an increase of pre-cycle students write short stories until the cycle 2.

The objective of this research is to find the increasing of the process and the result student’sshort story writing through metacognitive strategy in language and Indonesia Literature StudyProgramme FKIP-PGRI University of Palembang. This research uses action research methodwhich is done through planning, action, observation, and reflection. This research wasconducted through three cycles, from the result of learning process is found that students havebeen able to make a planning, monitoring, evaluation and revising according to metacognitivestrategy cycle, during their time in writing short story task. This research find out that therehad been an increased from the short story writing result in every of its cycle. On thesecond cycle, it showed a significant increased, there were 29 (twenty nine) students whoaccomplished and 9 (nine) students have not accomplished the task, with average score is ini72, 18. AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerita pendek (cerpen) siswa kelas VII salah satu SMP swasta di Jakarta Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015 melalui pendekatan kontekstual baik proses maupun hasil belajar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan dengan metode penelitian campura (kualitatif dan kuantitatif).Penellitian ini menggunakan model penelitian Kemmis & Taggart yang terdiri dari 4 tahap, yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi dan dilaksanakan sebanyak 3 siklus.Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui  tes menulis cerpen, observasi,wawancara, jurnaling siswa, dan dokumentasi. Data kualitatf dianalisis dengan cara menggambarkan proses penelitian tindakan dan kualitas kemampuan siswa dalam menulis cerpen melalui pendekatan kontekstual, sedangkan data kualitatif dianalisis menggunakan persentase distribusi normal. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan menulis cerpen melalui pendekatan kontekstual mulai dari pra tindakan, siklus 1, siklus 2  dan siklus 3 dilihat dari nilai rata-rata, kategorisasi, dan skor rata-rata aspek penilaian cerpen. AbatractThe objective of this research was to improve the short story writing ability at grade VII student of one private junior high school in Jakarta of the 2014/2015 Academic Year through contextual approach, both process and outcomes of learning. It was an action research with mix-method research.(qualitative and quantitative). It used Kemmis & Taggart’s action research model  which consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection and held in 3 cycles. The data were collected through short stories written tests, observation, interview, student’s journaling, and documentation. Qualitatf data was analyzed by describing the process of action research and the quality of student’s ability in short stories writing through contextual approach, while qualitative data was analyzed using the percentage of the normal distribution. The results showed an increase in the short stories writing ability through contextual approach ranging from pre-action, cycle 1, cycle 2 and cycle 3 seen from the average score, categorization, and the average score of short stories aspects of assessment.

Penelitian ini bertujuan, (1) menghasilkan perangkat perkuliahan Daspros Mat 2 yang memuat nilai-nilai karakter. (2) Menghasilkan contoh CD pembelajaran. (3) Untuk meningkatkan kualitas perkuliahan melalui implementasi perangkat pembelajaran Daspros Mat 2 yang memuat nilai-nilai karakter, khususnya peningkatan karakter mahasiswa dalam praktik Peer Teaching. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan 2 siklus. Hasilnya penelitiannya, (1) tersusun perangkat perkuliahan Daspros Mat 2 yang memuat nilai-nilai karakter. (2) Dihasilkan contoh CD pembelajaran sebagai wujud implementasi penyusunan perangkat perkuliahan Daspros Mat 2 yang memuat nilai-nilai karakter, yang diterapkan dalam perkuliahan. (3) Kualitas perkuliahan melalui implementasi perangkat pembelajaran Daspros Mat 2 yang memuat nilai-nilai karakter, khususnya terkait karakter mahasiswa dalam praktik Peer Teaching telah terjadi peningkatan. Nilai rata-rata peer teaching adalah 84,7. Saran, Perangkat perkuliahan yang dihasilkan dan memuat nilai-nilai karakter sebaiknya disosialisasikan di tingkat program studi. (2) Contoh CD pembelajaran perlu dikembangkan lebih lanjut. (3) Perlu dicari tenaga pengambilan video yang handal agar CD video pembelajaran yang dihasilkan bisa bersih dan baik.The aim of this study, (1) generating lectures administration for Daspros Mat 2 which contains character values. (2) Generate sample of learning CD. (3) To improve the quality of lectures through the implementation of lectures administration of Daspros Mat 2 which contains the values of character, especially the increase in the character of students in the practice of Peer Teaching. This study is a classroom action research with 2 cycles. The result of research, (1) a set of lectures administration of Daspros Mat 2 which contains character values. (2) an example of learning CD as a form of implementation of the preparation of the lecture Daspros Mat 2 for character values, which are applied in the lecture. (3) The quality of the lectures through the implementation of learning tools Daspros Mat 2 which contains the values of character, particularly related to the character of students in the practice of Peer Teaching has been an increase. The average value of peer teaching is 84.7. Advice, lectures administration that is produced should be disseminated at the level of the study program. (2) the sample of CD learning needs to be developed further. (3) it should be produced a professional education cameraman, so that the video produced.

The purposes of this research included: (1) developing teaching materials for writing short story using paraphrasing technique, (2) implementing learning to write short story using paraphrasing technique, (3) describing the feasibility of teaching materials for writing short story using paraphrasing technique. This research uses the research method of developing Willis's reflective, recursive, design, and development (R2D2) models. The method used is to produce a product and test the feasibility of the product in the form of teaching materials to write short stories with paraphrasing techniques in class XI MAN 2 Samarinda students. The results of the development of teaching materials for short story writing with paraphrasing techniques were validated by content/content experts who gave an average score of 92.04% and validation of teaching material experts obtained an average score of 95%. From the validation results the experts obtained an average score of 93.52% with a very good category. Thus, the teaching material produced is very suitable for use by students of class XI. Furthermore, implementing learning to write short stories with paraphrase techniques through planning assessments conducted by observer 1 who gave an average score of 80% and observer 2 gave an average score of 93.33%. The implementation of learning was given an average score of 81.73% by observer 1 and observer 2 giving an average score of 86.08%. From the average score given by observers 1 and 2 states learning takes place very well. The feasibility of teaching materials for short story writing with paraphrase techniques can be seen from the results of small group pretest trials with an average value of 67.8 and 86.7 posttests and field trials with an average value of 73.75 and posttests with an average value 88.18% with a very decent category.

The condition that occurs in the classroom is that students are afraid of English. Students feel that learning English is difficult to memorize. Students have learning difficulties because the teacher does not apply a suitable learning model for students. This causes students to feel bored in learning and has an impact on students' low English skills. The purpose of this study is to analyze the shadowing technique in learning English for students. This type of research is classroom action research. The research subjects were 17 students. There are four main parts of classroom action research, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The methods used to collect data are observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The technique used to analyze the data is descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The study results are the average value, from 73.2 in the first cycle to 76.0 in the second cycle. The percentage of students who passed the KKM also increased from 59% to 78%. Listening skills improve after the application of shadowing techniques. The key is that the application of shadowing techniques can improve students' listening. This research implies that teachers can apply shadowing techniques in the classroom. The application of shadowing techniques can create a fun learning atmosphere for students to improve students' listening skills.

This research originated from the low skills of grade IV SDN (public school) 1 Sigli students in writing short stories. Learning media to write short stories is an alternative means of delivering material to students through animated film media. This study aims to determine the improvement of short story writing skills using animated film media in fourth grade students of SDN 1 Sigli. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) which was conducted in three cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were 24 students of grade IV SDN 1 Sigli, consisting of 12 female students and 12 male students. The data collection technique was done by using tests, observations, and field notes. The data analysis used was a comparative descriptive analysis technique. The results of data analysis showed that the acquisition of student learning outcomes with an average value in cycle I: 60%, cycle II: 80%, and cycle III: 91%. Thus it can be concluded, the use of animated film media can improve students' short story writing skills, and teachers always improve their skills in using instructional media. This can be seen from the cycles obtained by students in each cycle.

Abstract: This study aims to apply the think talk write learning model to improve Indonesianlearning outcomes in composing short stories in Class IX.1 SMP Negeri 10 Kota Bekasi. Thesubjects were students of class IX.1 SMP Negeri 10 Kota Bekasi total of 40 students. The method usedwas classroom action research. Methods of data collection using tests, observations, interview, anddocumentation. The results obtained by the test result data evaluation of learning that have increasedeach cycle, the test results obtained pre-cycle average value of 73,30 with mastery learning 47,50%,which has increased in the cycle I average value of 78,55 with mastery learning 72,50%, which hasincreased in the cycle II average value of 81,10 with mastery learning 92,50%. The conclusion of thisstudy is through the learning model of think talk write can improve Indonesian learning outcomessubject of compile short stories in class IX.1 SMP Negeri 10 Kota BekasiKey Words: Indonesian Language, Short Story, Think Talk Write
