The quick launch weapon system is unique. This rocket launcher has a high launch rate, but the rocket launched is one stage lower than the launcher normally launched by ships of this size. For example, a (medium) cruiser would use a fast light rocket launcher to launch a light (small) rocket. Currently rocket launchers are still controlled by humans, using PCs and servo motors as control tools to determine the accuracy of the shooting angle, so complete components are needed when designing the robot so that the robot can work automatically as needed. For the input given, Automatically control the rocket launcher robot and communicate via PC, then use a USB TTL cable to forward commands to the microcontroller, then send it to the Xbee-pro transmitter circuit, then send and receive by the Xbee-pro receiver, and then send the Microcontroller for transmitter control sent to servo and rocket motors in the transmitter control system in the form of a relay. Based on the test results, the robot can guide the rocket launcher at a predetermined angle, and can launch manual rockets, multiple rockets, triple rockets and all rockets, with a success rate of up to 80%.

In order to improve the efficiency of auto parts distribution logistics, to lower the cost of auto production in transportation logistics, and to reduce accidents, in this paper it is designed that an automatic guided vehicle control system to replace the manned tractors in the distribution sites. The system is equipped with an infrared homing device that can ensure the automated guided vehicle (AGV) along a predetermined route automatic driving at a given distribution information, without the needs to manually guided. Test results show that the circuit performance of AGV control system is stable to ensure the accuracy of the tracking in the practical application, and the mean absolute error of the tracking is less than 0.04m.

For the purpose of improving the future domestic train control systems and securing interoperability, according to the global development trends of train control systems, it is presented that the test results of interoperability between wayside train control systems installed in existed line, and the onboard train control system. Due to the safety-critical characteristics of train systems, the site test in the section where the wayside equipment is installed may lead to a danger against safety. Therefore, by way of constructing a simulation environment of train control systems, the T/R data systems of the equipment for interoperability are confirmed and the interoperability test are obtained by applying these systems to onboard equipment.

In this paper, we propose a method to estimate communication performance for the advanced metering infrastructure that employs the power line communication (PLC) technology. Using bit-per-symbol signals from the PLC network management system, we estimate a PLC model quality in terms of packet success rate based on statistical learning. We also verify the accuracy of the estimations by comparing them with measured communication test results at test sites. Finally, from the packet success rate estimate, the qualities of services, such as meter readings and time-of-use pricing data downloading under several metering protocol sequences, are investigated through a mathematical analysis, and numerical results are provided.

Transliteration is still a challenge in helping people to read or write from one to another writing systems. Korean transliteration has been a topic of research to automate the conversion between Hangul (Korean writing system) and Latin characters. Previous works have been done in transliterating Hangul to Latin, using statistical approach (72.2% accuracy) and Extended Markov Models (54.9% accuracy). This research focus on transliterating Latin (romanised) Korean words into Hangul, as many learners of Korean began using Latin first. Selected method is modeling the probable vowel and consonant forms and problable vowel and consonant sequences using Finite State Automata to avoid training. These models are then coded into rules which applied and tested to 100 random Korean words. Initial test results only 40% success rate in transliterating due to the nature that consonants have to be labeled as initial or final of a syllable, and some consonants missed the modeled rules. Additional rules are then added to catch-up and merge these consonants into existing proper syllables, which increased the success rate to 92%. This result is analysed further and it is found that certain consonants sequence caused syllabification problem if exist in a certain position. Other additional rules was inserted and yields 99% final success rate which also is the accuracy of transliterating Korean words written in Latin into Hangul characters in compund syllables.

An extremum control system has been designed to maximise the transmission efficiency of an hydraulic drive. The system is of the type which use a periodic perturbation of the control signal to generate the control action. Analysis of the system shows that an optimum choice of parameters may be made to maximise the rate of tracking of a moving extremum point. A system designed on these principles has been applied to a typical transmission system and test results are given. Some fundamental limitations of the performance of this type of control system are revealed.
