This article compares the compilation speed of the SCSS and LESS preprocessor codes. Each preprocessor has its own syntax, which is transpiled into the CSS stylesheet language in the further development of the web page. These technologies serve the same purpose - to simplify and speed up the writing of page views, but are based on different programming languages - Ruby (SCSS) and JavaScript (LESS). For the purposes of the research, a test application was created, a series of tests was carried out on various sets of codes, the results were collected, which allowed to identify a preprocessor with    a faster compilation speed, which turned out to be the LESS preprocessor.

The table contains tabulations of data or information that you want to convey from the web page. This data tabulation can be used for comparisons with similar tables or as a trigger for action. However, tables on web pages are independent of webpage makers. There is no standard form or layout for a table on a web page. One of the table layouts on a web page is column-row wise. This study offers an approach for extracting table contents such that the meaning of the linkage between two attributes and a data in the column-row wise table is not disappeared. The extracted data is stored into a database that forms three tables, ie the table that stores the first attribute, the table that stores the second attribute, and the table that stores the first, second, and second attributes of the two attributes. Output of this research is an algorithm to extract data of column-row wise table in a web page. The algorithm generated from this research is expected to be implemented in various programming languages. For testing, the algorithm is implemented in Python and success to extract table and save the data into database. Cyclomatic complexity number of the proposed algorithm is 12. This means that the complexity of the proposed algorithm is still high.</em></p>

Nowadays, internet has become the easiest way to obtain more information from the web and millions of users search internet to find out the information. The continuous growth of web pages and users interest to search more information about various topics increases the complexity of recommendation. The user's behavior is extracted by using the web mining techniques, which are used in web server log. The main aim of this research study is to identify the navigation pattern of users from the log files. There are three major steps in the web mining process namely pre-processing the data, classification of pattern and users discovery. In recent periods, the web page articles are classified by the researchers before recommending the requested page to users. However, every category size is too large or manual labors are often needed for classification tasks. A high time complexity issues are faced by some existing clustering methods or according to the initial parameters, these techniques provides the iterative computing that leads to insufficient results. To address the above issues, a recommendation for web page is developed by initializing the margin parameters of classification techniques which considers both effectiveness and efficiency. This research work initializes the Random Forest's (RF) margin parameters by using the FireFly Algorithm (FFA) for reducing the processing time to speed up the process. A large volume of user's interest data is processed by these margin parameters, which provides a better recommendation than existing techniques. The experimental results show that RF-FFA method achieved 41.89% accuracy and recall values, when compared with other heuristic algorithms.

A new species list of plants and lichens of Russia and neighboring countries has been developed for Turboveg for Windows, the program, intended for storage and management of phytosociological data (relevés), is widely used all around the world (Hennekens, Schaminée, 2001; Hennekens, 2015). The species list is built upon the database of the Russian website Plantarium (Plantarium…: [site]), which contains a species atlas and illustrated an online Handbook of plants and lichens. The nomenclature used on Plantarium was originally based on the following issues: vascular plants — S. K. Cherepanov (1995) with additions; mosses — «Flora of mosses of Russia» (Proect...: [site]); liverworts and hornworts — A. D. Potemkin and E. V. Sofronova (2009); lichens — «Spisok…» G. P. Urbanavichyus ed. (2010); other sources (Plantarium...: [site]). The new species list, currently the most comprehensive in Turboveg format for Russia, has 89 501 entries, including 4627 genus taxa compare to the old one with 32 020 entries (taxa) and only 253 synonyms. There are 84 805 species and subspecies taxa in the list, 37 760 (44.7 %) of which are accepted, while the others are synonyms. Their distribution by groups of organisms and divisions are shown in Table. A large number of synonyms in the new list and its adaptation to work with the Russian literature will greatly facilitate the entry of old relevé data. The ways of making new list, its structure as well as the possibilities of checking taxonomic lists on Internet resources are considered. The files of the species list for Turboveg 2 and Turboveg 3, the technique of associating existing databases with a new species list (in Russian) are available on the web page https://www.binran.ru/resursy/informatsionnyye-resursy/tekuschie-proekty/species_list_russia/.

Content is a key influencing factor in Web Quality of Experience (QoE) estimation. A web user’s satisfaction can be influenced by how long it takes to render and visualize the visible parts of the web page in the browser. This is referred to as the Above-the-fold (ATF) time. SpeedIndex (SI) has been widely used to estimate perceived web page loading speed of ATF content and a proxy metric for Web QoE estimation. Web application developers have been actively introducing innovative interactive features, such as animated and multimedia content, aiming to capture the users’ attention and improve the functionality and utility of the web applications. However, the literature shows that, for the websites with animated content, the estimated ATF time using the state-of-the-art metrics may not accurately match completed ATF time as perceived by users. This study introduces a new metric, Plausibly Complete Time (PCT), that estimates ATF time for a user’s perception of websites with and without animations. PCT can be integrated with SI and web QoE models. The accuracy of the proposed metric is evaluated based on two publicly available datasets. The proposed metric holds a high positive Spearman’s correlation (rs=0.89) with the Perceived ATF reported by the users for websites with and without animated content. This study demonstrates that using PCT as a KPI in QoE estimation models can improve the robustness of QoE estimation in comparison to using the state-of-the-art ATF time metric. Furthermore, experimental result showed that the estimation of SI using PCT improves the robustness of SI for websites with animated content. The PCT estimation allows web application designers to identify where poor design has significantly increased ATF time and refactor their implementation before it impacts end-user experience.

PageRank algorithms only consider hyperlink information, without other page information such as page hits frequency, page update time and web page category. Therefore, the algorithms rank a lot of advertising pages and old pages pretty high and can’t meet the users' needs. This paper further studies the page meta-information such as category, page hits frequency and page update time. The Web page with high hits frequency and with smaller age should get a high rank, while the above two factors are more or less dependent on page category. Experimental results show that the algorithm has good results.

Purpose The strong regulation of the Spanish pharmaceutical sector encourages pharmacies to modify their business model, giving the customer a more relevant role by integrating 2.0 tools. However, the study of the implementation of these tools is still quite limited, especially in terms of a customer-oriented web page design. This paper aims to analyze the online presence of Spanish community pharmacies by studying the profile of their web pages to classify them by their degree of customer orientation. Design/methodology/approach In total, 710 community pharmacies were analyzed, of which 160 had Web pages. Using items drawn from the literature, content analysis was performed to evaluate the presence of these items on the web pages. Then, after analyzing the scores on the items, a cluster analysis was conducted to classify the pharmacies according to the degree of development of their online customer orientation strategy. Findings The number of pharmacies with a web page is quite low. The development of these websites is limited, and they have a more informational than relational role. The statistical analysis allows to classify the pharmacies in four groups according to their level of development Practical implications Pharmacists should make incremental use of their websites to facilitate real two-way communication with customers and other stakeholders to maintain a relationship with them by having incorporated the Web 2.0 and social media (SM) platforms. Originality/value This study analyses, from a marketing perspective, the degree of Web 2.0 adoption and the characteristics of the websites, in terms of aiding communication and interaction with customers in the Spanish pharmaceutical sector.
