The rural settlements in poverty-stricken mountainous areas are the "living fossils" of an economic society with the characteristics of spatial dispersion and are slowly changing. Spatial agglomeration is the development direction of rural settlements. In-depth exploration of the spatial agglomeration characteristics and influencing factors of rural settlements in poverty-stricken mountainous areas is a way to provide a basis for rural settlement restructuring. We selected Pengshui County, a national poverty-stricken county in the southwestern mountainous area of China, as the research area. Spatial buffer and kernel density analysis were used to analyze the agglomeration characteristics of rural settlements and influencing factors. The results show that: (1) The rural settlements are small in scale and the space is evenly dispersed. 55.63% of the rural settlements’ sizes are less than 1000 m2, 84.15% of the rural settlements’ sizes are less than 2500 m2, and 92.81% of the rural settlements are within 200 m. (2) The elevation and slope of topographic factors have a significant agglomeration effect on rural settlements. However, the slope direction has no agglomeration effect. 85.41% of rural settlements (52.75% of rural settlements are gathered between 400 and 800 m above sea level) are gathered at an altitude of 1000 m or less, and 77.59% of rural settlements are gathered with a slope of 6~25°. Additionally, there are few rural settlements with a slope of 0~2°. Moreover, the distribution of residential areas has no agglomeration effect on rural settlements. (3) The cultivated land exerts the most significant effect on rural settlements followed by roads and water sources, while the role of urban land is weak. 99.48% of rural settlements are concentrated in the 100 m area of cultivated land. Therefore, in the poverty-stricken mountainous areas in the southwestern mountainous areas of China, convenient farming is the primary condition for production and living. Rural settlements are highly correlated with cultivated land. Rural settlements are scattered and concentrated with the scattered cultivated land. The rural settlements were leaded by the distribution of cultivated land. Less high-quality cultivated land with less slope were occupied or not by rural residential areas’ people.

Revealing the characteristics of spatial–temporal dynamics and influencing factors is important for optimizing the spatial distribution of tea production. Taking prefecture-level cities as the basic spatial unit, this study uses the Herfindahl index and exploratory spatial data analysis to reveal the spatial–temporal dynamics of China’s tea production from 2000 to 2015. A theoretical analysis framework is established and a spatial econometric model is used to explore its influencing factors. The results show a U-shaped trend in the degree of tea spatial agglomeration, which gradually declined during 2000–2010, and rapidly increased during 2011–2015. The proportion of tea production shifted from the eastern region to the central and western regions, and spatial distribution coverage expanded to the north. Tea production had significant spatial correlation, and spatial agglomeration characteristics were exhibited for similar values (high or low). Tea production had a significant spatial spillover effect. Natural resources, labor cost, specialized production, and policies all affected the spatial–temporal dynamics of tea production somewhat, but the effects of traffic conditions and technological level were insignificant. Finally, this study proposed optimizing four aspects of the tea spatial layout: regional cooperation, comprehensive suitability evaluation of tea cultivation, spatial agglomeration, and distinctive local brands.

Kata kunci: Guru sekolah dasar negeri, stres kerja, kurikulum 2013, strategi koping   THE LEVEL OF STRESS AND COPING STRATEGY OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS IN IMPLEMENTATION OF CURRICULUM 2013   ABSTRACT Teachers quality is greatly influence education at the whole level of education including elementary school level. Teachers are one of the jobs with high levels of work stress. One of the causes of work stress is  educational curriculum. This study aims to determine the level of stress and coping strategy of elementary school teachers in implementation of curriculum 2013 in Bogor Central District, Bogor. The design in this research used descriptive quantitative with cross sectional approach. This study involved 222 elementary schools teachers in Bogor Central District selected by purposive sampling. The results of this study illustrate the majority of elementary schools teachers in Bogor Central District (81,5%) experience moderate stress. Each dimension of work stress, occupational role (ORQ), personal strain (PSQ) and personal resources (PRQ) show that the majority of teachers experience moderate stress. The type of coping strategy that is most often used by elementary schools teachers in Bogor Central Districtis is problem focused coping (54,6%). The results of this study recommend nurses to be able for collaboration with school to facilitate activities that could reduce stress and use appropriate coping strategies.   Keywords: Elementary School Teacher, work stress, curriculum 2013, coping strategy

This paper explores the influence of teaching approaches on entrepreneurial mindset of commerce, design and engineering students across 3 universities. The research presented in this paper is an initial study within a larger project looking into building ‘entrepreneurial mindsets’ of students, and how this might be influenced by their disciplinary studies. The longitudinal survey will measure the entrepreneurial mindset of students at the start of a course and at the end. Three different approaches to teaching the courses were employed – lecture and case based, blended online and class based and fully project-based course. The entrepreneurial mindset growth was surprisingly strongest within the engineering cohort, but was closely followed by the commerce students, whereas the design students were slightly more conservative in their assessments. Future study will focus on establishing what other influencing factors beyond the teaching approaches may relate to the observed change.
