The member states of ASEAN have together identified a need to develop the ASEAN Power Grid and enable the multilateral cross-border trade of electricity in a coordinated manner within ASEAN. This has been set out in the ASEAN Plan of Action for Energy Cooperation (APAEC) 2016–25. Moving forward from the current situation, this paper reviews the key components and feasibility of establishing an interconnected and competitive multilateral electricity market within the ASEAN countries. An indicative roadmap is developed based on an in-depth survey of experts to profile an appropriate market design for the multilateral trade of electricity in the ASEAN.

Especially in the transnational region Austria – Slovenia where differences in culture and language are predominant companies have to adapt their behaviour according to the cultural context. Understanding how to adapt to different business contexts is essential for success. Up to now there are no empirically consolidated findings on factors which positively or negatively affect crossborder business in this region. This paper tries to give insights and seeks to provide a systematic overview of the current situation of businesses in the region of Slovenia–Carinthia and which factors influence cross-border business most.

The article analyzes the components of cross-border cooperation between Ukraine and Poland. The main directions of cooperation between the two States on a cross-border basis within the Euroregions are described. The article reveals the formation and development of Ukrainian-Polish cross-border cooperation. The author studies the formation of bilateral cooperation and analyzes the cooperation between Ukraine and Poland in the political, economic, trade and IT spheres. This article examines what a BRICS integrated payment system can be and how it may affect the cross-border e-commerce dynamics. First, we show how the current international transaction system works, its geopolitical consequences and what a BRICS independent payment system implies. Second, we examine the current e-commerce scenario in BRICS, its main challenges, and what can be improved in it with the help of the proposed exclusive financial network. In conclusion, we review the current situation and make some necessary comments.
