The fine control of yarn breakage is essential for the production of better yarn quality by reducing the tension fluctuationof roving. The detection of roving tension provides important information regarding the yarn formation during spinning.In the present work, we developed a device for roving-tension detection and regulation, which greatly reduces the yarnbreakage rate and improves the production efficiency of ring spinning. By analysing the factors affecting the rovingtensions, we used a signal acquisition system in conjunction with the tension detection device to regulate the spindlerotate speed to realize the fine control of yarn breakage. Our results indicate that the proposed method can ensure auniform spinning tension of the yarn in ring spinning, which significantly reduces the yarn breakage rate, and boost theyarn production. Our work paves the way toward the rational production of high-quality yarn

AbstractIn this study, we used an experimental design to investigate the influence of the total draft, break draft, distance between the aprons (Clips) and production roller pressure on yarn quality in order to obtain optimum drafting conditions for polyester and viscose (PES/CV) blend yarns in ring spinning frame. We used PES fibers (1.4 dtex × 38 mm long) and CV fibers (1.6 dtex × 38 mm long) to spin a 20 Tex blend yarn of PES (70%)/CV (30%) blend ratio. When the break draft, adjustment of distance between of aprons and roller pressure is not reasonable, controlling and leading of the fibers is not sufficient for proper orientation of the fibers in the yarn structure to produce a high quality yarn. Experimental results and statistical analysis show that the best yarn quality will be obtained under drafting conditions total draft of 38, 1.2 break draft, 2.8 mm distance between of aprons and maximum pressure of the production top roller (18daN).

Now many enterprises have used the two-for-one twister to replace the ring spinning frames, in accordance with the same principle, the enterprises will use two-for-one twisting spinning frames instead of ring spinning frames in the future.Compared with the ring spinning frame, the obvious advangtages of the two-for-one twisting spinning frame are as follows: the production efficiency is improved,which can reach the aim to get the higher single spindle production with the lower speed; The two-for-one twisting spinning frame is a machine that can spin and wind to cheese with larger capacity.The package form in this new machine is the cheese instead of the ring cop, so the automatic winding frame is saved, which not only improve the production efficiency and make the spinning process easier,but also improve the single yarn quality[1]. Additionally this machine can be used in this way: the output from the front roller would be introduced from the side of the spindle, the filaments /the rovings /the strands can be introduced through the bottom of the spindle at the same time, then they are twisted for two different effects and spun for special fancy yarn.

Crack propagation is the main reason which leads to the invalidity of the metal components. A set of detecting equipment based on the acoustic emission method was designed, and it was mainly composed of acoustic emission sensor, signal operating circuits and signal acquisition system. Specimens of 16MnR material were manufactured and the static axial tension test of them was carried on. Acoustic emission signals from the specimen were detected by acoustic emission equipment by using piezoelectric ceramic sensor. Signal datum were acquired and operated by the acquisition system, as well as the acquisition program written for it. The final results has demonstrated that acoustic emission equipment designed for the test performed well in acquiring the signals induced by the metal crack propagation.

In order to more accurate detection of ECG signal and cost savings, this paper designed a set of ECG signal acquisition system based on Matlab. The system is composed of hardware and software. Hardware is made up of signal acquisition processing circuit and MPC82G516 microcontroller for AD conversion. The software mainly contains configuring Matlab serial to realize communication with MPC82G516 and uses abundant filter resources of Matlab to remove noise by differential, absolute value, smoothing and threshold selection algorithm of R wave detection, R wave peak provides the basis for calculating the heart rate. This paper uses Matlab friendly user interface for displaying received data to make the data more intuitive and read more easily.

This study compared two harvesting techniques (manual and mechanical) and three grape sorting methods (no sorting, manual, and densimetric) in attempts to obtain high-quality must. The trials were carried out in 2009 and 2010 in Tuscany, Italy. The effectiveness of the harvest-sorting chain was assessed on two parameters. Substandard berries (SSB) is the percentage of berries, which do not meet quality standards that enter the winemaking process, and material other than grape (MOG) is a measure of the cleanliness of the berries entering the process. In the two years the trial was run the grape maturation level was widely different; in 2009 the vintage was more far mature than in 2010. With respect to SSB content and harvesting methods, in 2009 (more mature grapes) hand-picking reduced SSB content, while in 2010 there were no differences between the two harvesting methods. In both years, densimetric sorting reduced SSB content, while there were no significant differences between no sorting and manual sorting. In terms of MOG content, both harvesting and sorting results were inconsistent. In 2009, MOG was lower in mechanically harvested grapes; while in 2010 it was lower in hand-picked grapes. As for sorting methods, in 2009 there were no differences in MOG, while in 2010 mechanical sorting produced better results. Our results question whether the post-harvest sorting techniques used by many estates are effective; particularly as the question has received little attention and no previous research has compared methods. Secondly, our study contributes to the debate on the effects of harvesting technique on wine quality.

In this paper, the pulse wave feature alertness detection system based on computer software technology is researched. First, the computer software technology designs the alertness detection system and then conducts the system alertness test experiment using a system that can not affect the subjects’ alertness, a portable multichannel physiological signal acquisition system that measures the subjects’ ECG signal, skin resistance, blood oxygen saturation, and other physiological signals in the case of a degree task experiment. The multichannel physiological signal acquisition system collects the signals during the vigilance task experiment. At the same time, before, during, and after the experiment, subjects are required to fill in the Stanford Sleepiness Scale (SSS) and evaluate the level of individual alertness through subjective self-evaluation. The relevant experimental data show that, 10 minutes before the experiment, the pulse amplitude increased rapidly, then slowly decreased at the beginning, reached a peak in about 25 minutes, and then began to rise.
