The present paper is analyzing the quality of the air (temperature, humidity, light, contamination with fungi) inside the Museum House from Salacea, Bihor county, and the influence of such factors on textile materials that are exposed inside it in the context of the need to protect the heritage elements and in order to diminish the risks related to human health: the inhabitants, the tourists, museographers and all those who have access to the interior. Monitoring of the temperature and humidity was carried out between 03.06.2018 and 02.07.2018 and we used the thermo-hygrometer with data function logger KlimaLogg Pro (seven sensors), and for other analyzed parameters: Luxmeter data logger Extech SDL400 Oxygen meter Extech SDL150. The fungal contamination was determined using Koch sedimentation method. Due to the fact that the low temperature together with the high air humidity of the ambient environment stimulates the formation of microorganisms and mold and high temperatures can dehydrate the fibers by diminishing their strength and decreasing their elasticity, therefore it is necessary to maintain the standard micro climate of temperature and humidity inside the museum house.

This study focuses on the performance of air conditioning design at the Dazhi Cultural Center and uses a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation to discuss the differences in wind velocity and ambient indoor temperature between all-zone air conditioning design and stratified air conditioning design. The results have strong implications for air conditioning design and can improve the indoor air quality of assembly halls.

Nowadays, people spend an average of 87% of their time inside buildings, and about 69% at home. Hence, it is essential to ensure the highest possible level of indoor air quality (IAQ). Providing that the quality of the outdoor air is acceptable, the IAQ level is improved by increasing the ventilation rates. However, this means that a larger volume of air must be cooled down or warmed up to ensure the same level of thermal comfort. The aim of this study was to conduct a cost–benefit analysis of the IAQ in residential buildings. A case-study building was defined, and three sets of materials with different pollution emission levels were chosen: High, low, and very low. For each option, the ventilation rates required to have the same IAQ level were calculated, and the consequent energy consumption and costs were estimated by means of dynamic thermal simulation. The results show the range of the initial capital cost that could be compensated for by lower running costs, and the effect of each energy and economic input assumption on the appraisal of the affordable capital cost. In the discussion, insights into the IAQ co-benefits are also given.

A crescente urbanização das cidades, muitas vezes, sem planejamento tem provocado sérios danos às condições ambientais e de qualidade de vida das pessoas. Os efeitos benéficos das áreas arborizadas no que diz respeito ao microclima – temperatura e umidade do ar - sempre foram inerentes no que diz respeito à melhoria da qualidade de vida da população. Neste sentido, o objetivo desta pesquisa foi realizar um estudo quantitativo quanto a influência da arborização urbana no microclima dos centros urbanos, analisando as diferenças de temperatura e umidade do ar em dois locais da região central do município de Mogi Guaçu-SP, com características semelhantes de área, destacando-se pela quantidade de unidades arbóreas, assim como verificar a percepção de sessenta acadêmicos do primeiro ao quarto período do curso de Educação Física da Faculdade FMG, Mogi Guaçu–SP quanto aos benefícios dessa vegetação para a população residente. Está bem estabelecida a função exercida pela arborização na redução do calor e insolação no ambiente urbano, conforto térmico e evapotranspiração com aumento da umidade do ar, desempenhando assim, uma importante função na melhoria das condições ambientais das cidades, favorecimento da prática de atividades físicas e qualidade de vida de seus habitantes.Palavras-chave: Microclima. The beneficial effects of wooded areas in terms of microclimate - air temperature and humidity have always been inherent in improving the population’s quality of life. In this sense, the objective of this research was to carry out a quantitative study on the influence of urban afforestation on the microclimate of urban centers, analyzing the differences in temperature and humidity of the air in two locations in the central region of the municipality of Mogi Guaçu-SP with similar characteristics of area, highlighing the number of tree units, as well as to verify the perception of 60 scholars from the first to the fourth period of the Physical Education course of the FMG College, Mogi Guaçu-SP, regarding the benefits of this vegetation to the resident population. The role of tree planting in reducing heat and sunshine in the urban environment, thermal comfort and evapotranspiration with increased air humidity is well established, thus playing an important role in improving the environmental conditions of cities, favoring the practice of physical activities and Quality of life of its inhabitants.Keywords: Microclimate. Watering plants usually done manually using human power. that has risk negligence and inaccuracy. also, in time and cost is not efficient. Another factor that can affect the quality of crops is a factor of humidity and temperature. For those reason, writers made a tool that can work according to the level of humidity and temperature automatically and continuously. This tool uses Zelio Smart Relay as automatic controller. The 808H5V5 humidity sensor and LM35 temperature sensor is used as input. The LM35 temperature sensor detect the ambient temperature, where as 808H5V5 humidity sensor detect ambient air humidity, and time of watering adapted to the Smart Relay timer. The entire sensor input is programmed using ZELIO SOFT 2. Setting the temperature and humidity when the detected 30oC and >70% as well as the timeshows at 08.30 – 09.00 am and 16.00 – 16.30 pm the pump will automatically ON.

This study aims to determine the level of air quality in the parking building based on the pollution content in it (CO, CO2, HCHO and, VOC), to analyze the effect of the weather, intensity of motorized vehicle traffic, and surface elevation to the air quality. The dependent variable is the level of air pollution. The research sample is the Makassar Bosowa Tower Parking Building, data collection was carried out by direct measurement and observation in 12 days from November 24th till December 17th. The research was done using the comparative method, The data processed using the Mann-Whitney difference test, and the Spearman correlation test using SPSS application. The results showed that the average CO levels had exceeded the limit of good air quality, the average of CO2 levels was still within the limits for good air quality, and the average of HCHO and VOC levels were mostly within the limits for good indoor air quality, according to The Indonesia Minister of Health Regulation Number 1077 in 2011. The result of measurements and tests shows that the changes in the weather do not have a significant effect on the air quality. The amount and the intensity of motorized vehicle traffic affect the air quality, especially during rainy weather.

The objective of the study was to characterize the mycological quality of air at animal veterinary practice in Krakow. Bioaerosol measurements were performed during the summer season of 2017. The samples of outdoor and indoor air at animal veterinary practice were collected using a 6-stage Andersen`s air sampler. The highest concentration of fungal aerosol was observed in the treatment room. The analysis showed various fungal contamination in different measuring points at different measuring times of the day. Based on the analysis of bioaerosol particle size distribution it was found that the largest "load" of fungi, isolated form the air, can reach (in the human respiratory tract) to the region of the throat, trachei and primary bronchi. The predominant fungi in indoor air was Penicillium spp. and Cladosporium cladosporoides. Fungi that can cause dermatophytoses have also been isolated from indoor air: Microsporum canis and Trichophyton verrucosum. The study confirmed that the animal veterinary practice can be a workplace related to exposure to microbial agents.

The aim of the study was to compare the indoor levels of airborne bacteria and fungi of air conditioned (AC) buildings and naturally ventilated (NV) buildings using a Supermarket, a Laboratory and an Eatery as a case study. The predominant bacterial isolates were Staphylococcus, Micrococcus spp., Escherichia coli, Bacillus spp., Streptococcus spp., Enterococcus spp., Klebsiella spp. The fungal isolates belong to the genera Penicillium, Aspergillus, Mucor, Trichophyton, Fusarium, Candida and Chaetomium. The levels of airborne bacteria and fungi were determined using settle plate method. In AC buildings the average air levels of bacteria (supermarket: 24.2 CFU m-3; laboratory: 29.2 CFU m-3; eatery: 51.0 CFU m-3 air) were higher than in NV (respectively: 54.3 CFU m-3; 100.7 CFU m-3; 134.3 CFU m-3 air). The average air levels for fungal isolates were higher in the eatery due to presence of poorly maintained AC system (supermarket: 7.8 CFU m-3; laboratory: 11.5 CFU m-3; eatery: 56.7 CFU m-3 air) than in NV (28.6 CFU m-3; 19.6 CFU m-3; 13.5 CFU m-3 air respectively). Findings from this study showed that AC buildings had lower levels of bacterial and fungal contamination compared to buildings with natural ventilation.

It is important to investigate the indoor air quality, the microbial concentration of indoor air and surfaces for preserving the cultural heritage. In what regards the microclimate inside the historic monument, the wooden church, the temperature and relative humidity were monitored using the thermo-hygrometer with data function logger “Klimalogg Pro” (eight sensors), October-December 2018, the thermos-camera “Thermal Imaging Camera FLIR I7” and “Digi-Sense Data Logging Luxmeter”. Image analysis were also performed using digital image processing techniques (ARCGIS), mapping the areas damaged by temperature, humidity and also by rainwater infiltrated on canvas paintings, biodegradation, anthropically degraded areas etc. Isolation of microorganisms from the two canvas paintings and indoor air were taken though specific method, analyses showing the presence of microorganisms on the paintings, possible human pathogens especially for people with low immunity. A high fidelity database with the state of patrimony objects preserved in the Romanian wooden church and perspectives for their proper conservation could be created at a certain moment.
