Shobashakti is one of the most important migrant creators of today's Eelam. He has created novels including Gorilla, M and BOX. This paper deals with BOX. The new day brings to the fore the geological and social and historical references to the village of Palankulam, the central domain of the story, and the various war-related situations of Eelam. This study reveals them critically. Moreover, the story is told under a separate title from Mayyakakatha to Forty in the novel. In addition, the final version of the story has been set up. Under some headings subsection symmesis sub-copies 1 and 2 are also included. The subsection of the subcopies is centered on the statement of the characters and the textual record of the heart queen and the text language record of Roman Bhaktadas are the new techniques and methods in the new system. They are also discussed in the article.

This research deals with the development of  self concept of Hiroko as the main character in Namaku Hiroko by Nh. Dini and tries to identify how Hiroko is portrayed in the story, how she interacts with other characters and whether she is portrayed as a character dominated by ”I” element or  ”Me”  element seen  from sociological and cultural point of view. As a qualitative research in nature, the source of data in this research is the novel Namaku Hiroko (1967) and the data ara analyzed and presented deductively. The result of this analysis shows that in the novel, Hiroko as a fictional character is  portrayed as a girl whose personality  develops and changes drastically from ”Me”  to ”I”. When she was still in the village  l iving with her parents, she was portrayed as a obedient girl who was loyal to the parents, polite and acted in accordance with the social customs. In short, her personality was dominated by ”Me”  self concept. On the other hand, when she moved to the city (Kyoto), she was portrayed as a wild girl  no longer controlled by the social customs. She was  firm and determined totake decisions of  her won  for her future without considering what other people would say about her. She did not want to be treated as object. To put it in another way, her personality is more dominated by the ”I” self concept.

Background:The paper deals with a diesel common rail nozzle in which a novel orifice layout is implemented. Objective:Its influence on the nozzle mechanical-hydraulic behavior and on the spray shape transient development is experimentally investigated. Methods:In the research, a solenoid injector for light duty diesel engines is equipped with the novel nozzle prototype and tested. The prototype layout is described, pointing out the features of the nozzle orifices, in which a Slot cross-section is adopted; the investigation is accomplished extending the hydraulic tests and the spray visualizations to a reference nozzle with standard holes. The influence of the hole layout on the mechanical-hydraulic behavior of the nozzle is assessed by experimental analysis based on the rate of injection measurement, in comparison with the reference nozzle. Once the hydraulic behavior of the novel nozzle has been characterized in terms of mass flow rate, the slot influence on the spray shape is assessed analyzing the macroscopic features such as the penetration distance and the spray angle, in non evaporative conditions. The study is carried out under transient injection conditions, for different injection pressures, up to 1400 bar. Results:The results on spray characteristics also provide reference information to set up spray models suited to take the Slot orifice into account.

The International Journal of Systematic and Evolutionary Microbiology (IJSEM) will move to ‘true continuous publication’ during the first months of 2021 to modernize the workflow and align it with the current online-only nature of the journal. In the new format, articles will be cited using an article number rather than page numbering. The article number will be the Digital Object Identifier (DOI) suffix, i.e., the last six digits of the DOI. Benefits of the new system include streamlining in-house processes, hence, reducing time and costs, and speeding up the publication time of the final ‘Version of Record’. Because of the new format of the IJSEM, it is necessary to emend Rule 24b (2) and Note 1 paragraph 3 of Rule 27 of the International Code of Nomenclature of Prokaryotes (ICNP) to regulate matters of priority for papers published after January 2021. We also propose adding another example to Note 2 of Rule 33b to clarify how nomenclatural authorities of names published in the IJSEM from 2021 onward must be cited.

Combined techniques of Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD), laser ablation and UV-Photolithography have been set up to produce well defined surface textures able to increase the seizure resistance of high loaded lubricated systems. Using these new techniques, different predefined surface textures, following rectangular grid and zigzag stripped patterns have been generated. The microstructured surfaces developed have been characterised with confocal microscopy, optical and scanning electron microscopy. Ball-on-disc tribological tests under progressively increased load have been carried out using mineral oil as lubricant to determine the influence of surface microtextures on seizure resistance. The influence of shape and size of texture patterns on the tribological performance of the surface have been also studied.

A new system model for objective speech quality evaluation based on the improved recurrent generalized congruence neural network (RGCNN/OSQE) is proposed. The performance of the RGCNN model is compared with the most commonly used RBFNN (radial basis function neural network) model in objective speech quality evaluation. Comparison results show that the RGCNN model has higher correlation coefficient, less deviation, and saves about half training time, i.e., the RGCNN model has obvious advantages over the RBFNN model. Therefore, the novel RGCNN model for objective speech quality evaluation is feasible and effective.

This essay combines a consideration of the two-decades-long publishing strategy of Goethe's last major prose work, Wilhelm Meisters Wanderjahre (1808–29), with a reading of specific formal features unique to the final version of the novel. In doing so, it argues that Goethe's use of print and narrative work in concert to form what we might call a particular media imaginary–to reimagine the printed book not according to emerging nineteenth-century criteria of sovereignty, nationality, and permanence but instead according to values more in keeping with the technological capabilities of print media, such as transformation, diffusion, and connectivity. In his vigorous engagement with the material manifestations of his work as a key site of literary work, Goethe offers us an ideal place to explore the productive intersections that the disciplines of book history and literary history are opening up today. We describe a new type of radio navigation and tracking system which, unlike conventional systems, does not depend on a costly infrastructure of coherent radio transmitters. This new system measures positions using spatial, rather than temporal, coherence and can therefore use any existing radio transmitters set up for any purpose. We describe the principles of operation, applications and present results obtained with a demonstration unit (in Cambridge) which can measure the position of a motor vehicle to a precision of about 5 m using local medium-wave public broadcast transmitters.

The Tenggir Village Office is a government agency engaged in public services that has a good management system. That can be seen from the service to the community, the better. With more and more people, while the problem faced by the agency is managing data that is still less effective, one of which is the management of mail-making services. Management services for writing letters at institutions using computerized systems that are not easy to manage, such as using Microsoft Word. The development of information from the old system to the new system is expected to help the institution, storage, and archiving reports more easily. The design and implementation of the Village Administration Information System at the Tenggir Panji Situbondo Village Office use the PHP programming language and the MySQL database and other software in the design of this system. In its implementation, this application can answer information needs that can be used for financial management easier and faster, especially for reporting.

This study aims to determine the dependence of society on natural resources in Ringinsari village, Boyolali district. To obtain a representative sample there, the qualitative method was carried out by conducting interviews with locals related to the topic of writing. Primary data collection is obtained by means of observation, namely question and answer sessions with the local community. Secondary data is obtained from agencies related to the issue. The data were analyzed by dividing into an analysis of the village environment, an analysis of the lifestyle of the locals, and an analysis of the population's dependence on nature or natural resources. The results showed that the Ringinsari village, Boyolali district is the largest village in one sub-district and has the largest population, namely 66 Family Cards (KK). Most of the locals work as factory workers, farmers and some have set up their own businesses, such as opening basic food stalls. Society is still very dependent on nature because some locals own livestock and manage plantations.

This paper presents the experimental investigation of a two-stage thermoacoustic electricity generator able to convert heat at the temperature of the exhaust gases of an internal combustion into useful electricity. The novel configuration is one wavelength and consists of two identical stages. The identical stages will have out of phase acoustic wave at similar amplitudes which allows coupling a linear alternator to run in push-pull mode. The experimental set-up is 16.1 m long and runs at 54.7 Hz. The working medium is helium at 28 bar. The maximum generated electric power is 73.3 W at 5.64% thermal-to-electric efficiency. The working parameters including load resistance, mean pressure and heating power were investigated.
