Modeling Social Network Gaming Habitual Behavior Among Young Consumers. A Uses and Gratification and Flow Perspective

The present study has attempted to identify the relationship between hedonic and utilitarian gratification with social network gaming habitual behavior while considering the mediating role of flow experience as well. Online questionnaire was distributed using convenience sampling technique to collect 493 valid responses from young gaming consumers in Pakistan. The collected data was analyzed by executing Pearson correlation and structural equation modelling tests through SPSS 22 and SmartPls 3.0 software. Results of data analysis confirmed the proposed hypotheses of this research. Overall, hedonic and utilitarian gratification have moderately positive and significant association with social network gaming habitual behavior and flow experience was identified to partially mediate the relationship among proposed variables of the study. Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to derive and empirically test a theoretically grounded model of motivations (socializing, entertainment, self-expression, and information seeking) that lead to the use of Facebook Places. Store atmosphere factors (ambient, design, and social factors) were also investigated as moderators of the relationship between the motivation and use of Facebook Places. Design/methodology/approach – Based on a survey of 504 South Korean Facebook users, this research applies a structural equation modeling approach to test the research hypotheses. Findings – The analysis revealed that motivations such as socializing, entertainment, and self-expression influence the use of Facebook Places, and design factors moderate the relationship between the motivations and the use of Facebook Places. Practical implications – This study provide insights that can help Facebook and store owners develop effective marketing strategies that could increase revenue. When users check-in at a location it creates free word of mouth advertising. Thus, identifying the factors that motivate users to check-in at a particular location will be an important way to advertise. Originality/value – While uses and gratification theory has mainly been used to study mass media, this study applied the theory to Facebook Places, a type of social networking sites-based location-based services. Additionally, this study added store atmosphere elements as moderators, which is an appropriate concept in the context of the Facebook check-in service.

The influence of digitalization has extended across industries including the financial sector. Numerous innovations for investment have been launched while financial information has now become easily accessible, raising potential for Generation Z (Gen Z) to make investment. This study aims to understand financial literacy and investment behavior of Gen Z in Jakarta, Indonesia. Data were collected using quantitative approach, particularly through adoption of online questionnaire and convenience sampling technique. The relationship between financial literacy and investment decisions was then analyzed using Structural Equation Model regression - Lisrel statistical software. Finally, it was found that financial literacy significantly influenced investment decisions of Gen Z in Jakarta.

The mobile banking application is developed using the e-servicescape concept to create positive response in customers as application users. The objective of study is investigating the relationship between e-servicescape, trust, virtual word of mouth customer in Islamic banking. This study is quantitative approach that used Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). We collected data using an online questionnaire adapted from previous research, then distributed to all Islamic banking customers in Indonesia. The sampling technique used purposive random sampling involving 158 respondents with criteria such as Islamic bank customers in Indonesia who use mobile application services. The results of the study that all hypotheses are accepted. All dimensions of e-servicescape has a positive and significat effect on e-servicescape, e-servicescape has a positive and significat effect on trust, and trust has a positive and significant effect on customer virtual word-of-mouth. This research provides theoretical and practical contributions which will also be discussed further in this paper.

Abstract The popularity of self-service technologies, particularly in the banking industry, more precisely with electronic banking channel services, has undergone a major change as individuals' lifestyles develop. This change has affected individuals’ decisions about accepting any new Information Technology, and Information Communications Technology services that are electronically mediated, for example, E-Banking channel services. This study investigates the effect of Individual Factors on User Behaviour, and the moderating role of Trust in the relationship between Individual Factors, and User Behaviour based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology. This research proposes a model, with a second-order components research framework. It improves current explanations of the acceptance of electronic banking channel services. Furthermore, this study highlights the role of trust on the acceptance of electronic banking channel services, which is the most crucial consideration in customers’ decisions to accept electronic banking channels services. Thus, trust is the spine of the system in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Data were collected using an online questionnaire that received 476 valid responses from academic staff who work at the University of Sulaimani. The model tested data using the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modelling approach. The results show that Individual Factors have a positive effect on User Behaviour. Besides, results show that trust moderates the relationship between Individual Factors and User Behaviour.

<p><strong>Abstract</strong>. Good parenting produces a good mutual relationship between parent and child. Fathers have a role in parenting. A father is involved in nurturing by interacting with children and utilizing his resources, including physical, cognition, and affection. To that end, this study aimed to investigate the relationship between authoritative parenting and secure attachment to fathers among adolescents in Pidie-Aceh, Indonesia. This study used a purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 200 teenagers. Data collection techniques were performed by using authoritative parenting scale and secure attachment to father scale. The Pearson correlation test results showed that authoritative parenting was positively related to secure attachment to father. The analysis proved that authoritative parenting was significantly related to adolescents’ attachment to their fathers</p><p><strong>Keywords: </strong>authoritative parenting, secure attachment, father, adolescent</p>

This study analyzes the impact of watching television sports channels on the promotion of sports activities among the students of the University of Sargodha. The aim of the study is to explore the impact of sports channels on students. Previous researches are used to set up the concepts of the present study. In this research, a survey technique is used to collect the data. The population of the study consists of male and female students of the University of Sargodha. In this research, the Stratified and Purposive sampling technique is used, through which specification characteristics of the respondent's demographics. The study explores the impact of sports channels in the view of Uses and Gratification Theory. The data for this study is collected through the use of a well-designed questionnaire. Chi-square test and other statistical tests like ANOVA and t-Test are applied to test the hypothesis. The finding shows that more the exposure to TV sports channels more the information level of students of the University of Sargodha.

This study aims to examine the relationship between the factors that forming the institutions in Production Forest Management Unit (KPHP) Model Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan Province. The analysis used is Structural Equation Model (SEM). SEM is a multivariate analysis were used to analyze the relationship between variables. The sampling technique was conducted using purposive sampling method with 83 respondents. Based on the results of the study showed that the institutionality is signicantly inuenced by the factors of human resources, institutional variables and linkage.

The present study aimed to investigate the relationship between parenting styles (authoritarian, authoritative and permissive) and Big-five personality traits (extraversion, agreeableness, neuroticism, conscientiousness and openness) among the students of Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan, Pakistan. For this purpose, a total number of 281 students from different faculties (Natural and social sciences) were selected through systematic sampling technique and the respondents responded to parenting authority questionnaire (PAQ) by Buri (1991) and Big-five inventory (BFI) john and Srivastava (1999). Data were analyzed by using SPSS-21 version, and Pearson correlation (r=0.01) was applied to find out the relationship, direction and consistency between predictor and criterion variable. Results indicated a directly proportional relationship between parenting styles (authoritarian, authoritative & permissive) and big five personality traits.

Contemporary research on disorders in modern-day work environment marks burnout among employees in different professions as an important disorder with serious consequences. Practice has shown that recruiters are one of the professions frequently facing burnout. The relationship between burnout, work engagement and turnover intention has often been investigated in the literature. However, even though scholars are increasingly interested in these relationships in other professions, there is a growing need for studies evaluating the relationship between the three concepts among human resource (HR) professionals, particularly recruiters. Having this in mind, the aim of this study is to identify, understand and examine the relationship between burnout, engagement and turnover intention of recruiters in Serbia. The data was collected using an online questionnaire within a sample of 100 recruiters in Serbia. Copenhagen Burnout Inventory was used for measuring burnout, UWES-9 for measuring work engagement and TIS-6 for measuring turnover intention. Structural equation modelling (SEM) was used for evaluating the relationships between burnout, turnover intention and work engagement. The results of the research showed that work engagement has a negative impact on burnout and that burnout has a positive impact on turnover intention, while the relationship between work engagement and turnover intention was not confirmed. The correlation analysis confirmed all three examined relationships. The results largely support the findings from the literature for other professions confirming that employees who suffer from a high degree of burnout are more likely to have a turnover intention. Finally, the implications of these results and recommendations for organizations and recruiters themselves to prevent and decrease burnout are discussed. The findings of this study can make a contribution to the specific academic literature on burnout among recruiters and initiate further research on this topic of high interest.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to examine, explain, predict and guide the processes, mechanisms and outcomes of intrapreneurial behaviour to provide evidence that novelty ecosystems mediate the relationships between generative influence, positive deviance and intrapreneurial behaviour. It also enlightens the capacity of replicating the intrapreneurial best practices. Design/methodology/approach The study uses an integrated approach of entrepreneurship and complexity theories. Its subjects were full-time designated university employees in the Republic of Kenya. A total number of 244 employees were selected using snowball sampling technique from ten public and private universities in the Kenya. A self-administered questionnaire was used to collect data. Findings The structural equation modelling path analysis and the bootstrapping results confirmed full mediation of novelty ecosystems in the relationship between generative influence and intrapreneurial behaviour. The findings, further, verified that novelty ecosystems partially mediate the relationship between positive deviance and intrapreneurial behaviour. Research limitations/implications Subjective appraisals were used, despite the fact that studied variables are ultimately based on what employees perceive. Future research should generate and include more objective measures. Practical implications Intrapreneurial behaviour can only be explained and predicted through novelty ecosystems. University leaders need to fully understand and facilitate novelty ecosystems. Social implications A deeper understanding of the power of generative influence, positive deviance and novelty ecosystems will not be fully realized until researchers devote as much energy and attention to facilitation as has been devoted to conflict. Originality/value This study extends existing intrapreneurial research into complexity approach.
