Green energy has become a media issue due to climate changes, and consequently, the population has become more aware of pollution. Wind farms are an essential energy production alternative to fossil energy. The incentive to produce wind energy was a government policy some decades ago to decrease carbon emissions. In recent decades, wind farms were formed by a substation and a couple of turbines. Nowadays, wind farms are designed with hundreds of turbines requiring more than one substation. This paper formulates an integer linear programming model to design wind farms’ cable layout with several turbines. The proposed model obtains the optimal solution considering different cable types, infrastructure costs, and energy losses. An additional constraint was considered to limit the number of cables that cross a walkway, i.e., the number of connections between a set of wind turbines and the remaining wind farm. Furthermore, considering a discrete set of possible turbine locations, the model allows identifying those that should be present in the optimal solution, thereby addressing the optimal location of the substation(s) in the wind farm. The paper illustrates solutions and the associated costs of two wind farms, with up to 102 turbines and three substations in the optimal solution, selected among sixteen possible places. The optimal solutions are obtained in a short time.

The equipment, called detection platform of the cylinders, is used for detecting cylinders so that cylinders can be at ease use. In order to transmit the real-time detection data to PC for further processing, the platform should be connected with PC. Cable connection, in some production and environmental conditions, is limited. Under the circumstance, building wireless network is the better choice. Through comparative studying, ZigBee is chosen to be the technology for building wireless network. ZigBee chip and ZigBee2006 protocol stack are the core components in the ZigBee nodes.

In recent years, with WiFi technology development, the manufacturing costs of related products continue to drop, personal computers with WiFi function and the popularization of other WiFi terminal were expanded. Especially in the higher education institutions, based on traditional cable connection network access, and because it has limited by access position and access condition, at present has been difficult to meet the teachers and students demand to high quality study, work, and the living conditions. On the contrary, the wireless network with its flexible and efficient ,free to move characteristics, favor by the of teachers and students, become the mainstream direction of the modern campus network construction, the application in campus dormitory management system on WiFi technology.It will be helpful to speed up our countrys sustained and rapid development in constructing educational informationization.

The power structure of main electrical wiring diagram outgoing line in Zhongmu 500kV substation is analyzed firstly, and then the substation communication system based on Bluetooth technology was put forward in this paper. The power and critical loads are important, the connection lines and the connection modes in the substation are very complicated. Bluetooth technology can replace wired cable connection with the wireless interface in the short distance, prevent from complicated line in industry. This paper analyzes and designs model of the network in the substation, enhancing the automatic and intelligence level. Substation monitoring system was composed of meters, relays and other communication devices with Bluetooth components. The structure of the system can be divided into three layers, the bottom is monitor, the terminal in high-voltage chamber is the middle layer, the central processor in Control Building is the most top, bottom communicate with middle layer by Bluetooth technology.The system architecture, software, hardware and the necessary factions of this system are introduced.
