Moreover, we study the properties and relationships between categories of these matching BiHom-algebraic structures.

The main goal of this paper is to introduce the notion of 3-L-dendriform algebras which are the dendriform version of 3-pre-Lie algebras. In fact they are the algebraic structures behind the O-operator of 3-pre-Lie algebras. They can be also regarded as the ternary analogous of L-dendriform algebras. Moreover, we study the generalized derivations of 3-L-dendriform algebras. Finally, we explore the spaces of quasi-derivations, the centroids and the quasi-centroids and give some properties.

Abstract We determine what appears to be the bare-bones categorical framework for Poincaré–Birkhoff–Witt (PBW)-type theorems about universal enveloping algebras of various algebraic structures. Our language is that of endofunctors; we establish that a natural transformation of monads enjoys a PBW property only if that transformation makes its codomain a free right module over its domain. We conclude with a number of applications to show how this unified approach proves various old and new PBW-type theorems. In particular, we prove a PBW-type result for universal enveloping dendriform algebras of pre-Lie algebras, answering a question of Loday.

The purpose of this paper is to introduce and study a notion of pre-Jordan algebra. Pre-Jordan algebras are regarded as the underlying algebraic structures of the Jordan algebras with a nondegenerate symplectic form. They are the algebraic structures behind the Jordan Yang-Baxter equation and Rota-Baxter operators in terms of $\mathcal{O}$-operators of Jordan algebras introduced in this paper. Pre-Jordan algebras are analogues for Jordan algebras of pre-Lie algebras and fit into a bigger framework with a close relationship with dendriform algebras. The anticommutator of a pre-Jordan algebra is a Jordan algebra and the left multiplication operators give a representation of the Jordan algebra, which is the beauty of such a structure. Furthermore, we introduce a notion of $\mathcal{O}$-operator of a pre-Jordan algebra which gives an analogue of the classical Yang-Baxter equation in a pre-Jordan algebra.

The Lie algebraic scheme for constructing Hamiltonian operators is differential-algebraically recast and an effective approach is devised for classifying the underlying algebraic structures of integrable Hamiltonian systems. Lie–Poisson analysis on the adjoint space to toroidal loop Lie algebras is employed to construct new reduced pre-Lie algebraic structures in which the corresponding Hamiltonian operators exist and generate integrable dynamical systems. It is also shown that the Balinsky–Novikov type algebraic structures, obtained as a Hamiltonicity condition, are derivations on the Lie algebras naturally associated with differential toroidal loop algebras. We study nonassociative and noncommutive algebras and the related Lie-algebraic symmetry structures on the multidimensional torus, generating via the Adler–Kostant–Symes scheme multi-component and multi-dimensional Hamiltonian operators. In the case of multidimensional torus, we have constructed a new weak Balinsky–Novikov type algebra, which is instrumental for describing integrable multidimensional and multicomponent heavenly type equations. We have also studied the current algebra symmetry structures, related with a new weakly deformed Balinsky–Novikov type algebra on the axis, which is instrumental for describing integrable multicomponent dynamical systems on functional manifolds. Moreover, using the non-associative and associative left-symmetric pre-Lie algebra theory of Zelmanov, we also explicate Balinsky–Novikov algebras, including their fermionic version and related multiplicative and Lie structures.

We establish an algebraic structure for zero curvature representations of coupled integrable couplings. The adopted zero curvature representations are associated with Lie algebras possessing two sub-Lie algebras in form of semi-direct sums of Lie algebras. By applying the presented algebraic structures to the AKNS systems, we give an approach for generating τ-symmetry algebras of coupled integrable couplings.

First we use a new approach to define a graded Lie algebra whose Maurer–Cartan elements characterize pre-Lie algebra structures. Then using this graded Lie bracket, we define the notion of a Nijenhuis operator on a pre-Lie algebra which generates a trivial deformation of this pre-Lie algebra. There are close relationships between [Formula: see text]-operators, Rota–Baxter operators and Nijenhuis operators on a pre-Lie algebra. In particular, a Nijenhuis operator “connects” two [Formula: see text]-operators on a pre-Lie algebra whose any linear combination is still an [Formula: see text]-operator in certain sense and hence compatible [Formula: see text]-dendriform algebras appear naturally as the induced algebraic structures. For the case of the dual representation of the regular representation of a pre-Lie algebra, there is a geometric interpretation by introducing the notion of a pseudo-Hessian–Nijenhuis structure which gives rise to a sequence of pseudo-Hessian and pseudo-Hessian–Nijenhuis structures. Another application of Nijenhuis operators on pre-Lie algebras in geometry is illustrated by introducing the notion of a para-complex structure on a pre-Lie algebra and then studying para-complex quadratic pre-Lie algebras and para-complex pseudo-Hessian pre-Lie algebras in detail. Finally, we give some examples of Nijenhuis operators on pre-Lie algebras.

In this paper, first, we introduce the notion of a generalized Reynolds operator on a [Formula: see text]-Lie algebra [Formula: see text] with a representation on [Formula: see text]. We show that a generalized Reynolds operator induces a 3-Lie algebra structure on [Formula: see text], which represents on [Formula: see text]. By this fact, we define the cohomology of a generalized Reynolds operator and study infinitesimal deformations of a generalized Reynolds operator using the second cohomology group. Then we introduce the notion of an NS-[Formula: see text]-Lie algebra, which produces a 3-Lie algebra with a representation on itself. We show that a generalized Reynolds operator induces an NS-[Formula: see text]-Lie algebra naturally. Thus NS-[Formula: see text]-Lie algebras can be viewed as the underlying algebraic structures of generalized Reynolds operators on [Formula: see text]-Lie algebras. Finally, we show that a Nijenhuis operator on a 3-Lie algebra gives rise to a representation of the deformed 3-Lie algebra and a 2-cocycle. Consequently, the identity map will be a generalized Reynolds operator on the deformed 3-Lie algebra. We also introduce the notion of a Reynolds operator on a [Formula: see text]-Lie algebra, which can serve as a special case of generalized Reynolds operators on 3-Lie algebras.
