We investigate three-flavor neutrino oscillation affected by an environment mimicking a continuous non-selective measurement. We show that such a coupling that is given by a measured observable affects probability of inter-flavor neutrino transition and a steady-state correlation function of the neutrino’s flavor. We juxtapose and compare our predictions influenced by matter’s scattering and CP-violation.

We estimate the dependence of νμ to νe conversion on parameters θ13 and δ CP for several experimental facilities studying neutrino oscillations. We use the S-Matrix theory to estimate νe disappearance and compare estimates based on an older theory being used to extract θ13 from the Double Chooz, Daya Bay, and RENO data, to assist in extracting an accurate value for θ13 from these projects. We use values of θ13 within known limits, and estimate the dependence of νμ-νe CP violation (CPV) probability on δ CP in order to suggest new experiments to measure CPV for neutrinos moving in matter.

Future long baseline neutrino oscillation (LBL) setups are discussed and the remarkable potential for very precise measurements of mass splittings, mixing angles, MSW effects, the sign of Δm2 and leptonic CP violation is shown. Furthermore we discuss the sensitivity improvements which can be obatined by combining the planned JHF-Superkamiokande and the proposed NuMI off-axis experiment.

Neutrinos are neutral leptons and there exist three types of neutrinos (electron neutrinos νe, muon neutrinos νµ and tau neutrinos ντ). These classifications are referred to as neutrinos’s “flavors”. Oscillations between the different flavors are known as neutrino oscillations, which occurs when neutrinos have mass and non-zero mixing. Neutrino mixing is governed by the PMNS mixing matrix. The PMNS mixing matrix is constructed as the product of three independent rotations. With that, we can describe the numerical parameters of the matrix in a graphical form called the unitary triangle, giving rise to CP violation. We can calculate the four parameters of the mixing matrix to draw the unitary triangle. The area of the triangle is a measure of the amount of CP violation.

In this paper, we investigate the steady-state of quantum correlation measurement of hybrid optomechanical systems. The first system consists of a single optomechanical system simultaneously coupled to a mechanical oscillator. While the second system is a hybrid optomechanical system consisting of an atomic ensemble placed in between the optical cavity and mirror. For both optomechanical systems, we formulate the Hamiltonian and the explicit expression of the covariance matrix leading to the dynamic of the system. Under the linearization approximation, we investigate the steady-state quantum correlations which are quantified through the correlation function of non-Hermitian operators, while the logarithmic negativity is used to quantify the amount of quantum entanglement between the subsystems. Furthermore, our proposed quantum correlation function can be used to quantify the entangled bipartite states that are correlative and transfer information. It is found that the transfer of quantum correlations between the subsystem is related to the detuning and coupling strength. Our results provide a realistic route toward remote quantum entanglement detection and a framework of future realistic fiber-optic quantum network operating applications.

The T2K long baseline neutrino oscillation experiment measures muon neutrino disappearance and electron neutrino appearance in accelerator-produced neutrino and anti-neutrino beams. This presentation reports on the analysis of our data from an exposure of 2 . 6 × 10 21 protons on target. Results for oscillation parameters, including the CP violation parameter and neutrino mass ordering, are shown.
