The key objective of the study under concern is to probe the impacts of Brownian motion and thermophoresis diffusion on Casson nanofluid boundary layer flow over a nonlinear inclined stretching sheet, with the effect of convective boundaries and thermal radiations. Nonlinear ordinary differential equations are obtained from governing nonlinear partial differential equations by using compatible similarity transformations. The quantities associated with engineering aspects, such as skin friction, Sherwood number, and heat exchange along with various impacts of material factors on the momentum, temperature, and concentration, are elucidated and clarified with diagrams. The numerical solution of the present study is obtained via the Keller-box technique and in limiting sense are reduced to the published results for accuracy purpose.

This article proposes a numerical model to investigate the impact of the radiation effects in the presence of heat generation/absorption and magnetic field on the magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) stagnation point flow over a radially stretching sheet using a Casson nanofluid. The nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs) describing the proposed flow problem are reduced to a set of ordinary differential equations (ODEs) via suitable similarity transformations. The shooting technique and the Adams–Moulton method of fourth order are used to obtain the numerical results via the computational program language FORTRAN. Nanoparticles have unique thermal and electrical properties which can improve heat transfer in nanofluids. The effects of pertinent flow parameters on the nondimensional velocity, temperature and concentration profiles are presented. Overall, the results show that the heat transfer rate increases for higher values of the radiation parameter in a Casson nanofluid.

In this problem, an examination of Casson Nanofluid boundary layer flow over linear slanted extending sheet by fusing the chemical reaction and heat generation impacts are under thought. Nanofluid demonstrate in this examination is developed on Buongiorno model for the thermal efficiencies of the liquid flow in the presence of Brownian movements and thermophoresis impacts. The nonlinear issue for Casson Nanofluid flow over slanted channel is displayed to ponder the heat and mass exchange wonder by considering portant flow parameters to strengthen the boundary layers. The governing nonlinear partial differential equations are decreased to nonlinear normal differential equations and afterward illustrated numerically by methods for the Keller-Box plot. An examination of the set up results in the absence of the joined impacts is performed with the accessible outcomes of Khan and Pop [1] and set up in a decent contract. Numerical and graphical outcomes are additionally exhibited in tables and graphs.

Abstract Present analysis is to study the combined effects of viscous dissipation and Joule heating on MHD three-dimensional laminar flow of a viscous incompressible non-linear radiating Casson nanofluid past a nonlinear stretching porous sheet. Present model describes that flow generated by bi-directional non-linear stretching sheet with thermophoresis and Brownian motion effects. The governing nonlinear partial differential equations are transformed into a system of nonlinear coupled ordinary differential equations by similarity transformations and then solved by employing shooting method. The effects of the flow parameters on the velocity, temperature and concentration as well as the skin friction coefficient, Nusselt number and Sherwood number near the wall are computed for various values of the fluid properties. This study reveals that the temperature of Casson nanofluid increases with combination of viscous dissipation and Joule heating. Increasing thermophoresis parameter increases the species concentration of the nanoflow. The comparison of present results have been made with the published work and the results are found to be very good agreement.

The steady two-dimensional boundary layer flow of a viscous, incompressible, and electrically conducting dusty fluid past a vertical permeable stretching sheet under the influence of a transverse magnetic field with the viscous and Joule dissipation is investigated. The fluid particles are assumed to be heat absorbing and the temperature at the surface of the sheet is a result of convective heating. The governing nonlinear partial differential equations are transformed to a set of highly nonlinear coupled ordinary differential equations using a suitable similarity transformation and the resulting system is then solved numerically. It is found inter alia that the contributions of viscous and Joule dissipation in the flow are to increase the thickness of the thermal boundary layer.

Analysis has been carried out for the magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) boundary layer flow of nanofluid. The flow is caused by a permeable stretching sheet. Convective type boundary conditions are employed in modeling the heat and mass transfer process. Appropriate transformations reduce the nonlinear partial differential equations to ordinary differential equations. The convergent series solutions are constructed. Graphical results of different parameters are discussed. The behaviors of Brownian motion and thermophoretic diffusion of nanoparticles have been examined. The dimensionless expressions of local Nusselt and local Sherwood numbers have been evaluated and discussed.

The theoretical study of laminar boundary layer flows of a non-Newtonian fluid past a stretching sheet in an embedded porous medium in the presence of suction/injection is of significant importance in the crystal growing, geothermal, metallurgical, polymer extrusion and several other technological processes. Casson fluid model is one such fluid model used to characterize the behaviour of non-Newtonian fluids. The present article discusses the Casson fluid flow past a permeable stretching sheet in the presence of mass transpiration. The physical problem is modelled into a system of nonlinear partial differential equations which are analytically solved by transforming them into nonlinear ordinary differential equations with constant coefficient by means of similarity transformations. The analysis reveals the effect of Casson parameter on the velocity boundary. In fact, the increasing Casson parameter results in the suppression of velocity boundary. It is found that the skin friction coefficient decreases with the decreasing values of Casson parameter. The effects of Darcy drag force and the mass transpiration are also analyzed by means of various plots.

The radiation effect on a steady two-dimensional boundary layer flow of a dusty fluid over a stretching sheet is analyzed. The governing nonlinear partial differential equations have been transformed by a similarity transformation into a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations and then solved numerically by applying Runge Kutta Fehlberg fourth-fifth order method (RKF45 method). The effect of fluid particle interaction parameter, Prandtl number, Eckert number, and radiation parameter on heat transfer characteristics in two different general cases, namely (1) the prescribed surface temperature (PST) and (2) the prescribed heat flux (PHF) are presented graphically and discussed. The rate of heat transfer is computed and tabulated for various values of the different parameters. Comparison of the obtained numerical results is made with previously published results.

The steady two-dimensional radiative MHD boundary layer flow of an incompressible, viscous, electrically conducting fluid caused by a nonisothermal linearly stretching sheet placed at the bottom of fluid saturated porous medium in the presence of viscous dissipation and chemical reaction is studied. The governing system of partial differential equations is converted to ordinary differential equations by using the similarity transformations, which are then solved by shooting method. The dimensionless velocity, temperature, and concentration are computed for different thermophysical parameters, namely, the magnetic parameter, permeability parameter, radiation parameter, wall temperature parameter, Prandtl number, Eckert number, Schmidt number, and chemical reaction.

A numerical analysis was performed for the mathematical model of boundary layer flow of Casson nanofluids. Heat and mass transfer were analyzed for an incompressible electrically conducting fluid with viscous dissipations and chemical reaction past a stretching sheet. An appropriate set of similarity transformations were used to transform the governing partial differential equations (PDEs) into a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations (ODEs). The resulting system of ODEs is solved numerically by using shooting method. A detailed discussion on the effects of various physical parameters and heat transfer characteristics was also included.

The steady mixed convection boundary layer flow over an inclined stretching surface immersed in an incompressible viscoelastic fluid is considered in this paper. Employing suitable similarity transformations, the governing partial differential equations are transformed into ordinary differential equations, and the transformed equations are solved numerically using Runge–Kutta–Fehlberg method. Herein, two different types of heating processes are considered, namely, (i) prescribed surface temperature and (ii) prescribed wall heat flux. The effects of the governing parameters on the flow field and heat transfer characteristics are obtained and discussed. It is found that velocity decreases and temperature increases with an increase in the value of angle of inclination.
