With the recent increase in used trading sites that support used trading, users want to find various information in real time, and the development of the Internet consists of direct and indirect connections between businesses and consumers. This change created a new type of C2C (Commerce to Commerce) transaction. However, each used trading site has its own characteristics, making it difficult to standardize one. Therefore, in this paper, we construed a system that provides the user’s used transaction data in real time and provides the desired information quickly. In this paper, we developed the crawler system needed to develop an integrated transaction system for second-hand goods through Internet e-commerce transactions, defined morphological analyzers, and described the service that users can employ in the web environment by using the system developed in the paper.

The case method can be classified as a type of experiential learning because students treat the problem in the case as if it were real and immediate. Until the Internet there was no practical way for cases to actually be real and immediate. The Internet makes possible instantaneous distribution of cases, and it makes possible their creation in real time. This article describes a recent attempt to use the Internet to bring business reality to business courses, and to facilitate communication among instructors, students, and the case company. It explores the challenges and difficulties involved in producing a new type of case study, and it assesses the feasibility of doing so on a regular basis. The goal of the author is to stimulate a dialog about how the Internet can be used to move forward all of our teaching methods, but especially the one that is prominent in schools of business: the case method.

Perceiving the location of dangerous moving vehicles and broadcasting this information to vehicles nearby are essential to achieve active safety in the Internet of Vehicles (IOV). To address this issue, we implement a real-time high-precision lane-level danger region service for moving vehicles. A traditional service depends on static geofencing and fails to deal with dynamic vehicles. To overcome this defect, we devised a new type of IOV service that manages to track dangerous moving vehicles in real time and recognize their danger regions quickly and accurately. Next, we designed algorithms to distinguish the vehicles in danger regions and broadcast the information to these vehicles. Our system can simultaneously manipulate a mass of danger regions for various dangerous vehicles and broadcast this information to surrounding vehicles at a large scale. This new system was tested in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Wuhan, and other cities; the data analysis is presented in this paper as well.

In the automobile industry, the contract information of vehicles contracted through sales activities, as well as the order data of customers who purchased cars, and vehicle maintenance history information all accumulate in relational databases over time. Although accumulated customer and vehicle information is used for marketing purposes, processing and analyzing this massive data is difficult, as its volume con-stantly increases. This problem of managing big data is commonly solved by utilizing the MapReduce distributed structure of Hadoop, which uses big data distributed processing technology, and R, which is a widely used big data analysis technology. Among the methods that interconnect Hadoop and R, the R and Hadoop integrated programming environment (RHIPE) was developed in this study as a real-time big data analysis system for marketing in the automobile industry. RHIPE allows us to maintain an interactive environment and use the powerful analytical features of R, which is an interpreter language, while achieving a high processing speed using Map and Reduce func-tions. In this study, we developed a real-time big data analysis system that can analyze the orders, reservations, and maintenance history contained in big data using the RHIPE method.

The present study focuses on the Internet activity of young children in order to examine how these children utilized the Internet and their potential in the uses of the Internet. The study sample consisted of 20 children, from both compulsory and pre-compulsory kindergarten. Two Internet learning environments were examined: (1) the ‘universal’ environment of the Web, where a search engine was used for navigation; and (2) the ‘modified’ Web environment, which was created in accordance with the abilities and level of young children. It was shown that young children who operated in a ‘modified’ Internet environment manifested better control of the uses of Internet interfaces and were better oriented in the Internet environment when compared with their activity in the ‘universal’ Internet environment. Another finding was that not all of the Internet uses constitute a meaningful learning environment for young children. In order for the environment to be advantageous for children, Internet uses must be structured in accordance with the children's levels of development and needs, with the emphasis on the use of the Internet as a source of information in parallel with concrete activity and teacher/adult mediation in the children's Internet activity.

We introduce both the new inception of Law in Context - A Socio-legal Journal and the continuing issue of LiC 36 (1). The editorial provides a brief historical account of the Journal since its inception in the early 1980s, in the context of the evolution of the Law & Society movement. It also describes the changes produced in the digital age by the emergence of the Web of Data, Big Data, and the Internet of Things. The convergence between Law & Society and Artificial Intelligence & Law is also discussed. Finally, we introduce briefly the articles included in this issue.

“Stars” from the Tube (by Evgeny Dukov) deals with the new socio-cultural trend - individual artistic industry. It developed on the basis of appearance in the Internet of the Blog website (1990-s) and the YouTube video hosting (2000-s). Arisen independently of one another, they began to play a very important role in contemporary musical life: the bloggers became conductors of the new musical content that they would “catch” in the Internet; the technical capabilities of YouTube made saturation of that content simple, even for novice users. All this has led to the emergence of a new type of “stars”; they “break out” without any assistance of show business professionals, without competitions and festivals, but always with some initial aid of bloggers. The Internet audience finds something interesting for themselves in the creative work of the “stars”, which makes music critics, sociologists, and other specialists solve the problem of artistic preferences of the modern (mostly young) Internet audience. However, the bloggers themselves usually remain in the shadows. They unselfishly open to the web community and promote in the Internet any phenomenon which, from their point of view, can claim the status of artistic.

This chapter describes how relevant the study of new media and telecommunication innovations, such as videotex, has been to research on developments around the Internet and the Web. It elaborates the distinctions between the Internet and the Web. Additionally, some of the more interesting links between research issues from long ago (in Internet time!) and those of significance today are explained. Online databases developed the initial designs for information services that would appear on the Web. CompuServe and The Source are the best-known ASCII videotex services. These videotex services provide links to other organisations with which the companies did business. The Internet was initially an infrastructure that efficiently transmitted data and at very low cost; fairly soon, it also became able to transmit asynchronous and real-time voice and video. The Internet community resolved the problem of interlinking disparate computer systems so as to produce new and synergistic wholes.

Big data and the internet of things (IoT) are two major ruling domains in today's world. It is observed that there are 2.5 quintillion bytes of data created each day. Big data defines a very huge amount of data in terms of both structured and unstructured formats. Business intelligence and other application domains that have high information density use big data analytics to make predictions and better decisions to improve the business. Big data analytics is used to analyze a high range of data at a time. In general, big data and IoT were built on different technologies; however, over a period of time, both of them are interlinked to build a better world. Companies are not able to achieve maximum benefit, just because the data produced by the applications are not utilized and analyzed effectively as there is a shortage of big data analysts. For real-time IoT applications, synchronization among hardware, programming, and interfacing is needed to the greater extent. The chapter discusses about IoT and big data, relation between them, importance of big data analytics in IoT applications.
