The main aim of this study was to analyse possible differences in academic wellbeing on the basis of prior academic achievement in mathematics. We conceptualised wellbeing as a multidimensional construct covering both negative indicators, namely, anxiety and negative feelings, and positive indicators, namely, perceived competence, perceived utility, and mastery motivation. Success in mathematics is expected to be associated with better academic wellbeing. The sample consisted of 897 students from the fifth and sixth years of primary school (50.2% boys and 49.8% girls). Results suggested that success in mathematics is linked to a student’s academic wellbeing, in such a way that perceived competence in the subject, perception of usefulness of mathematical content, and mastery motivation was higher in students with better previous performance. Anxiety and negative feelings were also lower when success in mathematics increased. Considering the particular anxiety–self-efficacy interaction suggested by previous research, we concluded that a good way to change negative academic wellbeing would be to increase successful experiences to foster perceived competence, especially in students with high academic anxiety.

The sample consists of 897 students of the fifth and sixth year of primary education (50.2% boys and 49.8% girls). The results indicate that the boys, compared to girls, have a higher perceived competence in math, they are more intrinsically motivated extrinsic and exhibit lower levels of anxiety. As for the differences in terms of this variable, the results indicate that students in grade 5 have a higher perceived competence for math, perceive most useful, are more intrinsically motivated to this subject and show anxiety levels and some negative feelings toward the lower than grade 6. Therefore, girls show a "profile" of less adaptive than men conditions, both in terms of their perceived competition as their motivation towards math and also in terms of the emotions associated with this matter. As for the differences depending on the course, students from grade 5 are those with a much more positive attitudinal and motivational conditions than grade 6.

Physical Education is one of the subjects that arouses the most interest in children. The aim of this study is to find out the opinion that primary school students have about the Physical Education class. Drawings from a sample of 62 students from an educational centre in the city of Jaén, aged between six and eight years old, were analysed. The results show that the larger size of the drawings corresponds to the aspects that are to be emphasised. This subject is carried out regularly in the sports pavilion of the centre, making frequent use of materials such as sticks, hoops or balls. Cheerful colours are used, reflecting their enthusiasm for the subject. The smiling facial expression represents the schoolchildren’s interest in the subject. The most popular games or sports are basketball and pichi, both of them collective.

The presented publication is the result of qualitative research on the ideas of professions carried out among third-grade students of primary school. The subject is of interest to researchers all over the world. The aim of the research was to check how third-grade students imagine professional work in general and how they imagine the work of people in particular occupations. The main problem that included specific problems was the question: What are the ideas of the professions of third-year primary school students? The research results show a positive image of professional work of third-grade students. They are able to identify their own interests, see the practical side of their professional work (obtaining the means necessary for living), understand the work as a service to other people (they associate the profession with the responsible work of a firefighter, policeman, teacher, doctor, secretary),they also have general knowledge about the work of their parents, correctly associate objects (props) with professions, know the names of the professions and they are able to indicate the features of a good and bad employee. The publication is supplemented with works by third-grade students presenting work in various professions.

Therefore, using of models in complex and abstract subjects becomes very important.  It provides convenience for the teaching of problems about which students encounter the assosication and concretization in daily life. For this reason, geoscience subjects must be supported by necessary materials and students should be provided by learning by doing. Students benefit from tools such as models and posters to provide permanent and easy learning.</p><p>Geoscience education with models;</p><p>-Provides an understanding events that cannot be detected by five sensory organs.</p><p>-Makes complex topics more understandable.</p><p>-Makes easy to learn abstract ideas and concepts.</p><p>-Provides permanent learning.</p><p> </p><p>Objectives of geoscience education with models;</p><p>-To enable students to become active in the teaching environment.</p><p>-To increase students’  interest for the geoscience subjects.</p><p>-To ensure the permanent learning of the students.</p><p>-To develop students’ teamwork and collaboration skills.</p><p>-To improve students’ creativity skills.</p><p> </p><p>In primary school students' positive attitudes towards school and learning affect the following educational life. Geoscience education with models is one of the important ways for primary school students to increase the desire for learning and to develop positive attitudes towards school. The purpose of the article is to substantiate theoretically the content component of creating a personality-oriented educational environment on the basis of subject-subject interaction between teachers and students of the New Ukrainian School. To achieve this goal, the following methods of analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature were used: generalization of the achievements of domestic and foreign scientists on a certain problem; systematization of the received information. Analyzing the psychological and pedagogical literature, we can say that the question of “educational environment” scientists have been addressed constantly. The views of scientists are considered and the essential characteristics of the concept of “educational environment” are given in the article. A brief overview of the structural elements of the environment, the problems of designing and creating a creative, personality-oriented educational environment based on the subject-subject interaction between teachers and students for their development are described. The solution of existing problems in the practice of forming the educational environment of primary school is studied. The main criteria are considered, taking into account which it is necessary to build an educational environment for primary school students. The main characteristics and parameters of the educational environment are analyzed. Recommendations for teachers on creating cells are provided. The focus is on specific tasks to address the issue of teacher readiness for change and steps to create a modern educational environment. Prospects for further explorations in this direction are outlined

Background: In 2016, the number of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) patients in Southeast Sulawesi has reported as much as 3,433 cases with IR 132.50 per 100,000 populations. The highest case incidence in Kendari reached 1,093 cases (IR = 372.80 per 100,000 population) with the highest cases in the age group 5-14 years reaching 44.9%. This study aims to examine the effect of snake-ladders modification game, as an educative game, for improving DHF prevention in terms of attitudes and behavior of scout students in elementary school.Method: The study is a quasi-experimental study with pretest-posttest group design by using purposive sampling. The subject is 50 students of Primary School Scouts in the working area of Puskesmas Poasia, Kendari City. Data was collected using a questionnaire and analyzed by Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests.Results: There is an increase of knowledge (p < 0,001), attitudes (p < 0,001), and practices (p < 0,001) of primary school students in the prevention of DHF by providing educational game through snake-ladders modification. It recommends that educational game needs to be developed for health education in elementary students.

<span>This study was conducted with the aim of investigating the current knowledge of Primary Teachers and Primary Pre-service Teachers on the misconceptions of primary school students about the subject of fractions. The qualitative research method of case study was used to conduct the research. The data were collected with semi-structured forms that were developed by the researcher to collect the views of Primary Teachers and Primary Pre-service Teachers on the topic. The participants stated that, regarding the subject of fractions, primary school students had difficulties the most in representing fractions by models, the concepts of denominator and numerator, when they need to rank fractions, when they need to solve problems, reading and writing concepts that express fractions, distinguishing types of fractions – converting these, showing a given fraction on number lines and operations on fractions, and they had misconceptions about these.</span>

The culture of life is a theological-philosophical term, which signifies a commitment to respect and protect life. The aim of this study was to investigate students’ attitudes towards the culture of life in Sarajevo Canton. Research included a sample of 1204 students of 6th grade of primary schools in Sarajevo Canton, divided into two subsamples of 602 students attending schools in suburban and urban parts of Sarajevo Canton, we examined the attitudes of students who acquired competencies in the subject Culture of Living to the aspect of culture as a phenomenon, with all its integral wholes from healthy lifestyles, through general cultural habits to traditional values. The results obtained by factor analysis indicate that students attending schools in the suburbs of Sarajevo Canton determine attitudes that have the premise of education in relation to students attending schools in urban areas of Sarajevo Canton, which are more determined by educational categories of attitudes. to conclude that the children of suburban schools have a greater influence of parents and families on attitudes compared to urban schools where the influence of teachers and schools is greater, based on the attitudes of students through a survey conducted.
