The tourism industry has received increasing attention as it has become one of the fastest developing business sectors around the world. Service quality in tourism has come to be regarded as an important impetus for economic growth; however, the focus on tourism service quality has not yet been satisfactorily or comprehensively reviewed. Therefore, we conducted a systematic literature review combining bibliometric, citation network and keyword network analysis. We selected the top five tourism journals from the SCOPUS database and then collected papers according to their keywords. Our results revealed the critical issues, topics, and changes over time regarding research on tourism service quality. The critical issues included the important impact of service quality on tourist behavior and service quality evaluation, and topics comprised (1) tourist satisfaction, (2) sustainable issues in tourism, (3) value of service quality for customers, (4) restaurant service quality, (5) customers’ perceptions of tourism, (6) service quality evaluation in tourism, and (7) service quality’s influence on customer behavior. Furthermore, the keyword network analysis results revealed the most influential keywords.

Purpose This paper aims to introduce the psychological variable of “social distance” and use SEM to analyze the relationship between tourism service providers’ physical attractiveness (SPPA) and tourists’ perceptions of social distance, stereotypes and service quality. Design/methodology/approach The data collectors were instructed to convenience sampling tourists in Guangzhou Chimelong Tourist Resort, the biggest resort in South China and 334 valid questionnaires were collected. This study used CFA to confirm the measurement model and to check the reliability and validity of the constructs. Using Mplus 7.0, SEM was performed to test the hypotheses of this study. Findings The study found that tourism SPPA can improve tourists’ stereotype perception by reducing the social distance between tourists and service providers, which ultimately improves service quality. This study also found that only warmth perception can significantly improve the service quality evaluation of tourists, with competence perception having no significant effect. Originality/value This study focused on the SPPA in tourism services, expanding the research on tourism service management and on the effect of physical attractiveness; enriched the stereotype content model and behaviors from intergroup affect and stereotypes map by clarifying the mediating role of social distance and stereotypes; found different roles played by the competence and warmth stereotype in the enhancement effect; helped find an insightful strategy to improve service quality by recruiting and training employees intentionally.

Background: Education plays the most important role in establishing a disaster management system by creating a safety culture in the community and by engaging its members. This study explored the trends in research on disaster safety education based on the community from the perspective of lifelong education. Methods: We undertook a systematic literature review and keyword network analysis. The main search keywords were “community”, “disaster”, “safety”, and “education”. The subjects of education were adults, including disaster-vulnerable people, such as elderly and disabled people. A total of 185 articles and papers were identified and then narrowed down to 56. Results: Research related to disaster safety education has developed in a direction that reflects the characteristics of disasters that occur in the region. Currently, disaster safety education is being studied in various fields, including the humanities, social sciences, and engineering, focusing on disaster prevention. The main research methods in the reviewed literature were qualitative, especially case studies that applied narrative, storytelling, and risk scenario construction. Conclusion: The study provides a framework for the in-depth analysis of disaster risk management and risk level of communities, and lays the academic foundation for it.

BACKGROUND Evaluating Health Information System (HIS) quality is strategically advantageous for improving patient care quality. Nevertheless, there is little research evidence identifying and describing what standards, processes, and tools are used to evaluate HIS quality. OBJECTIVE This study aims to illustrate, detail, and discuss the current scenario regarding the standards, norms, processes, and tools used to evaluate HIS quality. METHODS We conduct a systematic literature review (SLR) using review guidelines focused on software and systems. We examined seven electronic databases (Scopus, ACM, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, IEEE Xplorer, the Web of Science and PubMed) to search and select primary studies. Three researchers and three collaborators participated in the review and quality assessment process of the studies. RESULTS We identified 17 primary studies that have been published in journals and conferences. We found that most of the primary studies address quality evaluation from a management perspective. Second, there is little explicit and pragmatic evidence on the processes and tools that allow evaluation of HIS quality. CONCLUSIONS To promote quality evaluation of HISs, it is necessary to define mechanisms and methods that operationalize the standards and norms of HISs. Additionally, it is necessary to create metrics that measure the quality of the most critical components and processes of HISs. CLINICALTRIAL Does not apply to our study
