Green building is deemed an effective means to realize the sustainable development of environment, economy and society in the construction industry. Green building technologies (GBTS) are important to realize green buildings. In order to make the application of GBTS be adopted and popularized effectively, it is especially important for us to gain thorough comprehension of the key problems that affect the adoption of GBTS. The target of this paper is to better understand the adoption of GBTS from the perspective of designers. This article utilizes a questionnaire to investigate Chinese architectural designers. Through establishing a structural equation model and an analysis of the survey data, the key factors influencing the adoption of GBTS by designers in the Design Company were found out. The results denote that the adoption motivation, the capability of GBTS, the knowledge structure and the defects of GBTS are the significant factors that affect designers’ adoption behaviors. However, the management support of GBTS has no significant effect on designers’ adoption behavior. The research results are helpful to improve adoption of GBTS in design units and accelerate the transformation of GBTS achievements. Additionally, they can promote the application of GBTS in the field of construction. Based on the quantitative theoretical model (the structural equation model), this paper finds out the key factors that affect the application of GBTS from the perspective of designers, enriching the theoretical methods of GBTS research and complementing the relevant literature of GBTS research. Future research will analyze the adoption behavior of GBTS from the point of other stakeholders and from the internal level of the design units.

Parking charges is a widely used and effective means to improve parking demand management. Based on the structural equation theory, the model about the influence factors related to the acceptability of parking charges was established. Eight factors were selected for the modeling, including problem perception, willingness, perceived effectiveness, perceived benefits, perceived freedom, perceived fairness, social norms and accountability. And a survey of two charging schemes was undertaken in Nanjing concerning influence factors of the acceptability. Model verification and path coefficient test were conducted based on the established structural equation model by AMOS. It is indicated that the most significant factors affecting the acceptability of parking charges measure are perceived effectiveness and willingness. Finally, according to the conclusions, the suggestions of improving acceptability of parking charges were presented.

In this paper, the structural equation model is used to investigate the factors that affect the satisfaction of college students with Jingdong (JD) logistics. Based on the Swedish customer satisfaction index (SCSI) model and the American customer satisfaction index (ACSI) model, combined with their own actual needs, the model of college students’ satisfaction with JD Logistics is redefined. In this way, the scale indicators of the questionnaire survey are set. Combined with the research and empirical analysis of relevant literature, the initial model hypothesis was constructed, and six path hypotheses were proposed. The reliability and validity analysis confirmed that the questionnaire scale had high reliability and structural validity, and the structural equation model is also carried out. The fitting degree test confirmed that the structural equation hypothesis model has a high degree of fit, and verified the hypothesis established in the article, and finally put forward some countermeasures and suggestions for improving the service system of JD Logistics.

Abstract This paper is a review of the model to investigate the effect of safety and security, financial benefit, social status, and lifestyle facilities on residential purchase and residential satisfaction. The future research will survey residents in private cities in Indonesia and Malaysia. For Indonesia, samples will be taken in South Tangerang, specifically in Bintaro Jaya, BSD City, and Summerecon. For Malaysia, samples will be taken among residents of private cities in Malaysia. The analysis will employ the use of structural equation model using SPSS and Amos software. The accepted hypotheses are expected be result of this study. Safety and security, financial benefit, social status, and lifestyle facilities determine the residential purchase and residential satisfaction. The originality of the research is the study investigate comparative study of the model testing in two countries, Indonesia and Malaysia.

The research objective is to examine the effect of budget participation on managerial performance and motivation as intervening variable. These respondents involve managers those participate in preparing budget in public manufacturing firms. Data were collected by using random sampling method and analyzed by structural equation model. This research finds that budget participation has positive and significant effect on motivation and managerial performance. Meanwhile motivation has positive and significant effect on managerial performance. This research has limitations. First, the sample of this research is managers that participate in preparing budget. Second, data were analyzed by using path analysis that has limitation. So, future research suggests by using simultaneous equation to eliminate errors. This model is called structural equation model.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to empirically examine the relationships among supply chain integration (SCI), supply chain service capabilities, market performance (MP), and financial performance (FP) in the container shipping context and develops valid and reliable instruments for future research. Design/methodology/approach – A structured questionnaire was used to gather data from 133 container shipping operators and agencies in Taiwan, using confirmatory factor analysis, the author identified main dimensions of SCI and supply chain service capabilities in container shipping context. A structural equation model was then used to test the research hypotheses. Findings – This study has identified a set of five dimensions that can enable effective SCI: top management support, cross-functional cooperation, information technology, goal congruence, and collaborative communication, and highlighted the critical mediating role of supply chain service capabilities (i.e. service efficiency, service reliability, service flexibility, and value-added service) in improving firms’ market and FP. The authors confirm that SCI has a positive impact on supply chain service capabilities, which in turn helps to enhance market and FP. Practical implications – This research can thus serve as a valuable reference for managers to achieve better SCI formation and performance, help managers to develop more effective collaborative relationships, and thus minimize the chance of SCI failure. Originality/value – This manuscript provides a theoretical framework to link SCI, supply chain service capabilities, MP, and FP for the container shipping service supply chain context that have not been previously reported through empirical research.

Previous studies had examined The Green Building in Indonesia, but none have discussed more thoroughly the relationship between competitive advantage, service quality, company performance, and implications for the company reputation. The purpose of this study is to get a clearer picture of how the Green Building’s competitive advantage together with the excellent service quality provided by the Green Building can improve the performance, and the final result is how the company's reputation is formed. This research was conducted with quantitative techniques by involving 30 building managers of the Green Building in Jakarta. To analyze the relationship between variables, this study used Structural Equation Model approached with SmartPLS. The result of this research is the company’s competitive advantage will have a small effect on the company performance, and company reputation if the service quality provided is not excellent.

The primary aim of this study was to identify the determinants of attitude toward Private Labels (PLs) in Spain in one of the most important industries for such brands: the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry. To this end, a conceptual model was proposed based on a review of the relevant literature in the field. To test the model, a database was compiled consisting of 626 consumers who had purchased FMCGs. These data were then analyzed using a structural equation model, which corroborated the association between the following variables: smart shopping, promotion proneness, value consciousness, and the perceived quality of PLs based on their extrinsic and intrinsic attributes. These results emphasize the need that grocery retailers pay special attention to the psychological bonds PLs are able to develop in consumer minds, aside to traditional variables related to their economic value benefits. In light of these findings, a number of implications for PL management are proposed.

Marcoulides and Yuan have introduced an equivalence test to assess structural equation model fit as an inferential alternative to Hu and Bentler’s descriptive cut-points. A procedural demonstration of how to conduct and interpret an equivalence model fit test, concluding caveats, and future research possibilities are offered.
