In order to reduce the vibration of mountain self-propelled electric monorail transporters (MSEMT) caused by the impact of the meshing of roller gear with toothed rail (MRGTR), and to improve the stability and safety of monorail transporters, this paper theoretically analyzed the MRGTR mechanism of toothed monorail transporters as well as established the MSEMT displacement model and its instantaneous velocity model. The vibration signals of MSEMT with four different parameters of toothed rail were collected by the acceleration sensor and signal acquisition system. The signals were analyzed by the Hilbert envelope demodulation method to investigate the influence of toothed rail parameters on meshing impact vibration. Moreover, taking the vibration acceleration amplitude of MSEMT and the vibration attenuation time of meshing impact as evaluation indexes, a test based on the three-factor and two-level orthogonal test was engaged with factors of toothed rail pressure angle, the ratio of L—the chord length of two adjacent roller centers of a roller gear—and rack pitch p (wheel-tooth ratio) and the load mass of the MSEMT. It showed that the impact of MRGTR was the main excitation source of the vibration of MSEMT. The pressure angle and wheel-tooth ratio both have a significant impact on the smooth operation of MSEMT, the latter to a greater extent. So did the interaction between wheel-tooth ratio and load mass. The amplitude of the characteristic frequency of the MSEMT decreased with the growth of the pressure angle. When the wheel-tooth ratio was cosα, the number of the characteristic frequency was less than that when it was 1, and the amplitude became smaller too. When the pressure angle was 15, the amplitude of vibration acceleration characteristic frequency decreased as a consequence of load mass increasing. At the pressure angle of 25, the amplitude of characteristic frequency decreased with the increase of load mass if the wheel-tooth ratio was 1, and the opposite result occurs in the case when the wheel-tooth ratio was cosα. This paper provides a theoretical basis and reference for improving the impact vibration of MRGTR and optimizing the design of the toothed rail.

The impact vibration absorber consists of a small mass, moving unidirectionally, impacting against the ends of a container which is rigidly attached to the primary vibrating system. A simplified theory for the forced steady-state response of a linear, single-degree-of-freedom system with an impact vibration absorber is presented. The assumption of two impacts per cycle at equal time intervals is known to lead to two possible solutions near the resonant frequency of the primary system. A criterion for determining the stability of the solutions is developed. An approximate expression for the maximum displacement of the primary system is given and the theory is compared to experimental results.

In this paper, based on the establishment of the finite element calculating model, the influence of the blasting vibration to tailings dams stability was analyzed in accordance with actual stope blasting vibration monitoring data. The laws of the blasting vibrations impact on tailings dam stability was reached by importing different vibration amplitude of vibration wave intensity. When the blasting vibration acceleration remained under 0.333g and vibration velocity remained under 17.005cm/s, the coefficient of the healthy tailings dam stability against sliding has a increasing trend with the increase of vibration strength. When the vibration acceleration and the vibration velocity reached the maximum value, the coefficient rapidly decline; But the influence of stope blasting vibration on the stability of the risky tailings dams is more significant. The coefficient of stability against sliding had a straight-line decrease to the risky tailings dams. In Engineering, more than 4 times margin is considered to find the control vibration velocity. The value is 4.25 cm/s. An analysis shows that the effect of blasting vibration on healthy tailings dam stability has two sides. When the blasting vibration intensity remains within control vibration velocity, it can be beneficial to the stability of tailings dam. Otherwise it will be harmful.

SummaryCase reports cited in Medline or Biological Abstracts (1966-1996) were reviewed to evaluate the impact of vitamin K1 dietary intake on the stability of anticoagulant control in patients using coumarin derivatives. Reported nutrient-drug interactions cannot always be explained by the vitamin K1 content of the food items. However, metabolic data indicate that a consistent dietary intake of vitamin K is important to attain a daily equilibrium in vitamin K status. We report a diet that provides a stable intake of vitamin K1, equivalent to the current U.S. Recommended Dietary Allowance, using food composition data derived from high-performance liquid chromatography. Inconsistencies in the published literature indicate that prospective clinical studies should be undertaken to clarify the putative dietary vitamin K1-coumarin interaction. The dietary guidelines reported here may be used in such studies.

One of the main criteria for economic development is the size of the public debt and its dynamics. The article considers the impact of public debt on the financial security of Ukraine. The views of scientists on the essence of public debt and financial security of the state are substantiated. An analysis of the dynamics and structure of public debt of Ukraine for 2014-2019. It is proved that one of the main criteria for economic development is the size of public debt and its dynamics. State budget deficit, attracting and using loans to cover it have led to the formation and significant growth of public debt in Ukraine. The volume of public debt indicates an increase in the debt security of the state, which is a component of financial security. Therefore, the issue of the impact of public debt on the financial security of Ukraine is becoming increasingly relevant. The constant growth and large amounts of debt make it necessary to study it, which will have a positive impact on economic processes that will ensure the stability of the financial system and enhance its security.

Background: With the rapid development of the high-speed railway, the dynamic performance such as running stability and safety of the high-speed train is increasingly important. This paper focuses on the dynamic performance of high-speed Electric Multiple Unit (EMU), especially the dynamic characteristics of the bogie frame and car body. Various patents have been discussed in this article. Objective: To develop the Multi-Body System (MBS) model of EMU, verify whether the dynamic performance meets the actual operation requirements, and provide some useful information for dynamics and structural design of the proposed EMU. Methods: According to the technical characteristics of a typical EMU, a MBS model is established via SIMPACK, and the measured data of China high-speed railway is taken as the excitation of track random irregularity. To test the dynamic performance of the EMU, including the stability and safety, some evaluation indexes such as wheel-axle lateral forces, wheel-axle lateral vertical forces, derailment coefficients and wheel unloading rates are also calculated and analyzed in detail. Results: The MBS model of EMU has better dynamic performance especially curving performance, and some evaluation indexes of the stability and safety have also reached China’s high-speed railway standards. Conclusion: The effectiveness of the proposed MBS model is verified, and the dynamic performance of the MBS model can meet the design requirements of high-speed EMU.

Appropriate pretreatment of proteins and addition of xanthan gum (XG) has the potential to improve the stability of oil-in-water (O/W) emulsions. However, the factors that regulate the enhancement and the mechanism are still not clear, which restricts the realization of improving the emulsion stability by directional design of its structure. Therefore, the effects of whey protein micro-gel particles (WPMPs) and WPMPs-XG complexes on the stability of O/W emulsion were investigated in this article to provide theoretical support. WPMPs with different structures were prepared by pretreatment (controlled high-speed shear treatment of heat-set WPC gels) at pH 3.5–8.5. The impact of initial WPC structure and XG addition on Turbiscan Indexes, mean droplet size and the peroxide values of O/W emulsions was investigated. The results indicate that WPMPs and XG can respectively inhibit droplet coalescence and gravitational separation to improve the physical stability of WPC-stabilized O/W emulsions. The pretreatment significantly enhanced the oxidative stability of WPC-stabilized O/W emulsions. The addition of XG did not necessarily enhance the oxidative stability of O/W emulsions. Whether the oxidative stability of the O/W emulsion with XG is increased or decreased depends on the interface structure of the protein-XG complex. This study has significant implications for the development of novel structures containing lipid phases that are susceptible to oxidation.

Liposomes have been utilized as a drug delivery system to increase the bioavailability of drugs and to control the rate of drug release at the target site of action. However, the occurrence of self-aggregation, coalescence, flocculation and the precipitation of aqueous liposomes during formulation or storage can cause degradation of the vesicle structure, leading to the decomposition of liposomes. To increase the stability of liposomes, post-processing techniques have been applied as an additional process to liposomes after formulation to remove water and generate dry liposome particles with a higher stability and greater accessibility for drug administration in comparison with aqueous liposomes. This review covers the effect of these techniques including freeze drying, spray drying and spray freeze drying on the stability, physicochemical properties and drug encapsulation efficiency of dry liposomes. The parameters affecting the properties of liposomes during the drying process are also highlighted in this review. In addition, the impact of using a protective agent to overcome such limitations of each process is thoroughly discussed through various studies.

Abstract In this paper, a novel rumor-spreading model is proposed under bilingual environment and heterogenous networks, which considers that exposures may be converted to spreaders or stiflers at a set rate. Firstly, the nonnegativity and boundedness of the solution for rumor-spreading model are proved by reductio ad absurdum. Secondly, both the basic reproduction number and the stability of the rumor-free equilibrium are systematically discussed. Whereafter, the global stability of rumor-prevailing equilibrium is explored by utilizing Lyapunov method and LaSalle’s invariance principle. Finally, the sensitivity analysis and the numerical simulation are respectively presented to analyze the impact of model parameters and illustrate the validity of theoretical results.

AbstractIn this paper, we consider a reaction–diffusion model in population dynamics and study the impact of different types of Allee effects with logistic growth in the heterogeneous closed region. For strong Allee effects, usually, species unconditionally die out and an extinction-survival situation occurs when the effect is weak according to the resource and sparse functions. In particular, we study the impact of the multiplicative Allee effect in classical diffusion when the sparsity is either positive or negative. Negative sparsity implies a weak Allee effect, and the population survives in some domain and diverges otherwise. Positive sparsity gives a strong Allee effect, and the population extinct without any condition. The influence of Allee effects on the existence and persistence of positive steady states as well as global bifurcation diagrams is presented. The method of sub-super solutions is used for analyzing equations. The stability conditions and the region of positive solutions (multiple solutions may exist) are presented. When the diffusion is absent, we consider the model with and without harvesting, which are initial value problems (IVPs) and study the local stability analysis and present bifurcation analysis. We present a number of numerical examples to verify analytical results.
