The objective of this article is to investigate the impacts of thermo-diffusion effect on unsteady axisymmetric Casson flow over a time-dependent radially stretching sheet with a multi-slip parameter and the force of chemical reaction. We employed an established similarity transformation to this non-linear partial differential system to convert it into a system of ordinary differential equations. The numerical results are attained for this system by using KELLER-BOX implicit finite difference scheme. It has great reliability and accuracy even a very short time period for computational simulation. The impacts of influential flow parameters on fluid flow are sketched through graphs and the numerical results are thoroughly argued. The temperature, velocity and wall concentration control parameters are analyzed. (i) It is witnessed that chemical reaction is not favorable to enhance the velocity profile. (ii) Multi-slip parameters vary inversely with velocity profile. (iii) The fluid concentration in its boundary layer decreases with the increase of heavier species, the parameter of the reaction rate and the exponent of power law for fluids having Prandtl number = 10.0, 15.0, 20.0 and 25.0. Moreover, the skin-friction-coefficient factor and Nusselt-number are compared with the published work. A strong numerical solution agreement is being observed.

In this paper, steady 2-D MHD free convective boundary-layer flows of an electrically conducting nanofluid over a non-linear stretching sheet taking into account the chemical reaction and heat source/sink are investigated. The governing equations are transformed into a system of non-linear ODE using suitable similarity transformations. Analytical solution for the dimensionless velocity, temperature, concentration, skin friction coefficient, heat and mass transfer rates are obtained by using homotopy analysis method. The obtained results show that the flow field is substantially influenced by the presence of chemical reaction, radiation, and magnetic field.

In this paper, we study the numerical approach of MHD Casson fluid flow over a permeable stretching sheet with heat and mass transfer taking into cognizance the various parameters present. A set of suitable local similarity transformations are used to non-dimensionalize the governing equations of the present problem. The system of ordinary differential equations are solved numerically by MATLAB bvp4c solver. The effect of the involved parameters on Velocity, Temperature, and Concentration, Skin friction coefficient, Nusselt number and Sherwood number has been studied and numerical results are presented graphically and in tabular form. The numerical results are in good agreement with those of the results previously published in the literature.

In this analysis, the magnetohydrodynamic flow of a Casson fluid over a permeable stretching sheet in the presence of mass transfer is studied. Using similarity transformations, the governing equations are converted to ordinary differential equations and then solved through MATHEMATICA. The skin friction coefficient and local Sherwood number are analyzed through numerical values for various parameters of interest. The velocity and concentration profiles are illustrated for several pertinent flow parameters. We observed that the Casson parameter and Hartman number have similar effects on the velocity in a qualitative sense. We further analyzed that the concentration profile decreases rapidly in comparison to the fluid velocity when we increased the values of the suction parameter.

The influence of radiation on magneto-hydrodynamics (MHD) boundary layer flow over an exponentially stretching sheet embedded in a thermally stratified porous medium in the presence of heat source and suction/blowing was investigated. Similarity transformation was used to convert the governing equations from partial differential equations into a system of non-linear ordinary differential equations. Solving numerically, we used shooting method along with fourth order Runge-Kutta technique to obtained numerical values. The effects of the obtained numerical values of the dimensionless parameters on skin-friction coefficient, Nusselt number, velocity profile and temperature profile are illustrated in table and graphs plotted using MATLAB. Comparison of the velocity profile with previously published work was presented and found to be in good agreement.

An analysis of two dimensional free convective hydro-magnetic flow of an electrically conducting visco-elastic fluid past a vertical porous surface has been studied in the presence of magnetic field and chemical reaction of first order with heat source. Simultaneously effects of heat and mass transfer are also studied in combination of the physics of diffusion thermo (Dufour effect) and suction at the plate is assumed to be constant. The equations governing are solved by perturbation technique. Analytical expressions for velocity, temperature and concentration fields, non-dimensional skin friction coefficient and Nusselt number are obtained. The results are analyzed graphically for various values of visco-elastic parameter along with a combination of other flow parameters involved in the solution.

The main objective of this paper is to offer a comprehensive study regarding solar radiation and MHD effects on 3D boundary layer Jeffery fluid flow over a non-uniform stretched sheet along with variable thickness, porous medium and chemical reaction of first order are assumed. The system of equations representing temperature, velocity and concentration fields are converted into dimensionless form by introducing dimensionless variables. Thereafter, the aforesaid equations are solved with the help of BVP4C in MATLAB. The numerical results obtained through this scheme are more accurate when compared with those in the existing literature. In order to have a pictorial representation, the effects of material and flow parameters on velocity, temperature and concentration profiles are presented through graphs. Moreover, the numerical values of heat and mass transfer rate and skin friction coefficient are given in tabular form. It is evident from the acquired results, that the velocity offers two fold behavior for variable thickness parameter that is, n < 1 close and away from the non-uniform surface. It is also noted that the axial and transverse velocities show an increasing behavior for Deborah number while the fluid temperature and concentration shows opposite behavior at the same time.
