In this work, we presented experimental observation on solution-processed bulk heterojunction organic photodiode using vanadyl 2,11,20,29-tetra tert-butyl 2,3 naphthalocyanine (VTTBNc) as a p-type material. VTTBNc is blended with two different acceptors, which are PC61BM and PC71BM, to offer further understanding in evaluating the performance in organic photodiode (OPD). The blend film of VTTBNc:PC71BM with a volumetric ratio of 1:1 exhibits optimized performance in the VTTBNc blend structure with 2.31 × 109 Jones detectivity and 26.11 mA/W responsivity at a −1 V bias. The response and recovery time of VTTBNc:PC71BM were recorded as 241 ms and 310 ms, respectively. The light absorption measurement demonstrated that VTTBNc could extend the light absorption to the near-infrared (NIR) region. The detail of the enhancement of the performance by adding VTTBNc to the blend was further explained in the discussion section.

Nanocrystallite powders of 5 wt% Sm3+ added Mg-Cd ferrite samples were prepared by oxalate co-precipitation method. XRD, SEM and FT-IR techniques were used for characterization of the samples. The XRD reveals cubic spinel nature with secondary phase (SmFeO3). The crystallite size lies in the range of 28.69 to 32.66 nm. All the Sm3+ ions added samples are humidity sensitive at low humidity range 40 to70 %RH. The electrical resistivity of Sm3+ ions added samples decreased by four orders of magnitude, when %RH increased from 40%RH to 90 %RH. The response and recovery time of all the samples are 160-290 sec. The shorter response time was observed for Sm3+ added Cd ferrite sensor.

Recent identification of several different types of RNA editing factors in plant organelles suggests complex RNA editosomes within which each factor has a different task. However, the precise protein interactions between the different editing factors are still poorly understood. In this paper, we show that the E+-type pentatricopeptide repeat (PPR) protein SLO2, which lacks a C-terminal cytidine deaminase-like DYW domain, interacts in vivo with the DYW-type PPR protein DYW2 and the P-type PPR protein NUWA in mitochondria, and that the latter enhances the interaction of the former ones. These results may reflect a protein scaffold or complex stabilization role of NUWA between E+-type PPR and DYW2 proteins. Interestingly, DYW2 and NUWA also interact in chloroplasts, and DYW2-GFP overexpressing lines show broad editing defects in both organelles, with predominant specificity for sites edited by E+-type PPR proteins. The latter suggests a coordinated regulation of organellar multiple site editing through DYW2, which probably provides the deaminase activity to E+ editosomes.

The role of EL2 defect in a formation of a photoresponse of an array of radial GaAs/AlGaAs nanowires (x=0.3) n-type grown by molecular beam epitaxy on a p-type silicon substrate was studied. A significant reduction in the recovery time of the photoresponse of nanowires was found in comparison with the bulk crystal during the transition of the EL2-center from the non-photoactive to the normal state.

NanosizedCeO2powders were synthesized via hydrothermal method with different types of surfactants (polyethylene glycol (PEG), cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB), and sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate (SDBS)). X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, and transmission electron microscopy were utilized to characterize the phase structures and morphologies of the products. The sample with CTAB as surfactant (CeO2-C) has the largest specific surface area and the smallest particle size among these three samples. The humidity sensor fabricated byCeO2-C shows higher performance than those usedCeO2-P andCeO2-S. The impedance of theCeO2-C sensor decreases by about five orders of magnitude with relative humidity (RH) changing from 15.7 to 95%. The response and recovery time are 7 and 7 s, respectively. These results indicate that the performance ofCeO2humidity sensors can be improved effectively by the addition of cationic surfactant.

While the use of vinegar to fi ght against infections and other crucial conditions dates back to Hippocrates, recent research has found that vinegar consumption has a positive effect on biomarkers for diabetes, cancer, and heart diseases. Different types of vinegar have been used in the world during different time periods. Vinegar is produced by a fermentation process. Foods with a high content of carbohydrates are a good source of vinegar. Review of the results of different studies performed on vinegar components reveals that the daily use of these components has a healthy impact on the physiological and chemical structure of the human body. During the era of Hippocrates, people used vinegar as a medicine to treat wounds, which means that vinegar is one of the ancient foods used as folk medicine. The purpose of the current review paper is to provide a detailed summary of the outcome of previous studies emphasizing the role of vinegar in treatment of different diseases both in acute and chronic conditions, its in vivo mechanism and the active role of different bacteria.

SummaryLiposomes of pure phospholipids were used in a modified APTT test system and the role of phosphatidyl serine (PS) in determining the sensitivity of the test system to the presence of lupus anticoagulants was assessed. Six consecutive patients with lupus anticoagulants and seven haemophiliacs with anticoagulants directed at specific coagulation factors, were studied. Increasing the concentration of phospholipid in the test system markedly reduced the sensitivity to lupus anticoagulants but had marginal effect on the specific factor inhibitors. The same effect was achieved when the content of PS alone was increased in a vehicle liposome of constant composition. The results suggest that the lupus anticoagulants can best be detected by a screening method using an APTT test with a reagent of low PS content. The use of a reagent rich in PS will largely abolish the lupus anticoagulant’s effect on the APTT. An approach using the two different types of reagent may facilitate differentiation of lupus inhibitors from other types of anticoagulant.

The article is devoted to the study of evaluative tools used in modern French media in order to form the media image of a representative of the political elite. The techniques used in the creation of a memorial media portrait of Jacques Chirac (1932—2019), President of France from 1995 to 2007 are considered. The research material was the most prestigious French print media of various political orientations, published in late September — early October 2019 in connection with the death of the ex-President of the French Republic. The relevance of the research topic is dictated by the close attention of modern linguistics to axiological phenomena, differently presented in different types of discursive practices. The novelty of the study is due to the appeal to the analysis of the complex of evaluation tools used in the French print media when characterizing the former leader of the state during the nation’s farewell period. The estimated potential of the title of the article and its influence on the formation of the estimated vector of the entire text of the publication are shown. A systematic analysis of the assessment expression means, reflected in the memorial media portrait of the politician, is given. The factors that influenced the peculiarities of their use in this type of media portrait are revealed.

Misinformation often continues to influence people’s cognition even after corrected (the ‘continued influence effect of misinformation’, the CIEM). This study investigated the role of information relevance in the CIEM by questionnaire survey and experimental study. The results showed that information with higher relevance to the individuals had a larger CIEM, indicating a role of information relevance in the CIEM. Personal involvement might explain the effects of information relevance on the CIEM. This study provides insightful clues for reducing the CIEM in different types of misinformation and misinformation with varying relevance.
