The paper studies the vibration behavior of a concrete structure, currently used in civil engineering. The truss structure considered has symmetries that can be used to facilitate both the design and construction of the building. Moreover, the symmetries encountered can be used to simplify the calculation of vibrations of the system. Based on the mechanical model built, eigenvalues and eigenvectors of such mechanical system are determined, and properties, specific to these symmetries, are identified. In this way, the dynamic analysis of the structure can be simplified and also, the design as well as the costs related to this stage.

The paper aims to study a concrete structure, currently used in civil engineering, which has certain symmetries. This type of problem is common in engineering practice, especially in civil engineering. There are many reasons why structures with identical elements or certain symmetries are used in industry, related to economic considerations, shortening the design time, for constructive, simplicity, cost or logistical reasons. There are many reasons why the presence of symmetries has benefits for designers, builders, and beneficiaries. In the end, the result of these benefits materializes through short execution times and reduced costs. The paper studies the eigenvalue and eigenmode properties of vibration for components of the constructions’ structure, often encountered in current practice. The identification of such properties allows the simplification and easing of the effort necessary for the dynamic analysis of such a structure.

The durability of concrete structure has become an important field of civil engineering at home and abroad, and how to determine the environmental effects of typical durability of concrete structure key parameters become the key. Proposed by different domestic and foreign scholars to study durability parameters of concrete structure of different models, different models are different in the source, type, model parameters and applicable conditions. In this paper, some typical models are reviewed and analyzed from two major aspects of the durability of concrete, the deterioration of concrete and the steel corrosion.

Many researchers dealt with single fault but in real life situations, combined action of two or more single faults are usually present. Multi-faults (two and three combinations) were studied by few researchers. Researchers have mostly studied the vibration behavior of a rotor with misalignment, unbalance and rub separately. This paper presents one such case, where multiple faults are considered together in a rotor system, i.e. misalignment, unbalance and rub. The objective of this paper is to experimentally investigate the vibration response of combined of three faults misalignment, unbalance and rub using Fast Fourier Transform (FFT). FFT spectrum of combination of three faults misalignment, unbalance and rub show 1 X and 2 X are predominant and many sub harmonics are generated.1X peak represent unbalance, 2X peak represents misalignment and sub harmonics shows rub fault.

A purpose of this submission is a dynamic analysis of indoor environment on the suitably chosen classrooms, which are situated in loft spaces of Civil Engineering Faculty TU of Kosice. The evaluation was doing by using energy simulation tool DesignBuilder. In this submission there are compared different modes of natural ventilation during a day, with or without night ventilation. The next subject of presented analysis is to consider the installation of the exterior shading elements and their influence on a modification of an operative temperature in classrooms. The purpose of the whole submission is to obtain a dynamic view of indoor environment changes that are determined by internal and external factors.

In the paper, parallel mechanism is applied to Marine stable platform field. The integrated model, which consists of mechanical system, hydraulic driving system and control system, is established by the software of dynamic analysis of mechanical system (Adams) and Matlab/Simulink. The simulation result shows the decent capability of hydraulic cylinders length tracking, however further improvement can be made. This research provides valuable and fundamental knowledge for the system design and optimization.

Harbin metro, the first engineering is in the process of being built. Metro tunnel is supported by reinforced concrete structure. Commonly used model is used in design of shield tunnel liner. In this paper, the habitual model is improved. The joint of model of the habitual model is improved and the endogenetic force formulas for the new model are derived. At last, the derived formulas and the existing formulas are validated by Harbin first metro. According to the research result, we can know the formulas derived in the paper are credible and they have academic practical meaning for design and construction of the subway liner.

Oriented education "outstanding engineers training plan", combined with the characteristics of university students after 90, teaching method required in the civil engineering undergraduate experiment is studied. To the "principle of concrete structure" experimental teaching reform as an example, it builds an organic experiment teaching platform with theoretical teaching across the curriculum, concrete structure associated , the "Yang section flexural bearing capacity of reinforced concrete demonstration experiments" optimize the comprehensive design experiments, has been clear about the experiment of hardware, software, data organization, management, etc. Thus it provides a certain reference basis for excellence in civil engineering undergraduate experiment teaching.
