A class of third-order nonlinear delay dynamic equations on time scales is studied. By using the generalized Riccati transformation and the inequality technique, four new sufficient conditions which ensure that every solution is oscillatory or converges to zero are established. The results obtained essentially improve earlier ones. Some examples are considered to illustrate the main results.

We are devoted to studying a class of nonlinear delay Volterra–Fredholm type dynamic integral inequalities on time scales, which can provide explicit bounds on unknown functions. The obtained results can be utilized to investigate the qualitative theory of nonlinear delay Volterra–Fredholm type dynamic equations. An example is also presented to illustrate the theoretical results.

We present a model with feedback controls based on ecology theory, which effectively describes the competition and cooperation of enterprise cluster in real economic environments. Applying the comparison theorem of dynamic equations on time scales and constructing a suitable Lyapunov functional, sufficient conditions which guarantee the permanence and the existence of uniformly asymptotically stable almost periodic solution of the system are obtained.

We present stability analysis of delayed Wilson-Cowan networks on time scales. By applying the theory of calculus on time scales, the contraction mapping principle, and Lyapunov functional, new sufficient conditions are obtained to ensure the existence and exponential stability of periodic solution to the considered system. The obtained results are general and can be applied to discrete-time or continuous-time Wilson-Cowan networks.

AbstractThe aim of present paper is to establish some new integral inequalities on time scales involving several functions and their derivatives which in the special cases yield the well known Maroni inequality and some of its generalizations.
