In this article we give a variant of the Hermite–Hadamard integral inequality for twice differentiable functions. It represents an improvement of this inequality in the case of convex/concave functions. Sharp two-sided inequalities for Simpson’s rule are also proven along with several extensions.

AbstractIn this article we give two possible generalizations of the Hermite–Hadamard integral inequality for the class of twice differentiable functions, where the convexity property of the target function is not assumed in advance. They represent a refinement of this inequality in the case of convex/concave functions with numerous applications.

AbstractIntegral inequality is an interesting mathematical model due to its wide and significant applications in mathematical analysis and fractional calculus. In this study, authors have established some generalized Raina fractional integral inequalities using an $(l_{1},h_{1})$ ( l 1 , h 1 ) -$(l_{2},h_{2})$ ( l 2 , h 2 ) -convex function on coordinates. Also, we obtain an integral identity for partial differentiable functions. As an effect of this result, two interesting integral inequalities for the $(l_{1},h_{1})$ ( l 1 , h 1 ) -$(l_{2},h_{2})$ ( l 2 , h 2 ) -convex function on coordinates are given. Finally, we can say that our findings recapture some recent results as special cases.

We generalize Jensen’s integral inequality for real Stieltjes measure by using Montgomery identity under the effect of n − convex functions; also, we give different versions of Jensen’s discrete inequality along with its converses for real weights. As an application, we give generalized variants of Hermite–Hadamard inequality. Montgomery identity has a great importance as many inequalities can be obtained from Montgomery identity in q − calculus and fractional integrals. Also, we give applications in information theory for our obtained results, especially for Zipf and Hybrid Zipf–Mandelbrot entropies.

Some recent results have been found treating the famous Simpson’s rule in connection with the convexity property of functions and those called generalized convex. The purpose of this article is to address Newton-type integral inequalities by associating with them certain criteria of quantum calculus and the convexity of the functions of various variables. In this article, by using the concept of recently defined q1q2 -derivatives and integrals, some of Newton’s type inequalities for co-ordinated convex functions are revealed. We also employ the limits of q1,q2→1− in new results, and attain some new inequalities of Newton’s type for co-ordinated convex functions through ordinary integral. Finally, we provide a thorough application of the newly obtained key outcomes, these new consequences can be useful in the integral approximation study for symmetrical functions, or with some kind of symmetry.

AbstractIn this paper, we offer a new quantum integral identity, the result is then used to obtain some new estimates of Hermite–Hadamard inequalities for quantum integrals. The results presented in this paper are generalizations of the comparable results in the literature on Hermite–Hadamard inequalities. Several inequalities, such as the midpoint-like integral inequality, the Simpson-like integral inequality, the averaged midpoint–trapezoid-like integral inequality, and the trapezoid-like integral inequality, are obtained as special cases of our main results.

AbstractA new generalized integral identity involving first order differentiable functions is obtained. Using this identity as an auxiliary result, we then obtain some new refinements of Simpson type inequalities using a new class called as strongly (s, m)-convex functions of higher order of $$\sigma >0$$ σ > 0 . We also discuss some interesting applications of the obtained results in the theory of means. In last we present applications of the obtained results in obtaining Simpson-like quadrature formula.
