In this paper, we establish some conditions for the existence and uniqueness of the monotonic solutions for nonhomogeneous systems of first-order linear differential equations, by using a result of the fixed points theory for sequentially complete gauge spaces.

In this paper, we investigate the existence and uniqueness of solutions for Riemann–Liouville fractional integro-differential equations equipped with fractional nonlocal multi-point and strip boundary conditions in the weighted space. The methods of our study include the well-known tools of the fixed point theory, which are commonly applied to establish the existence theory for the initial and boundary value problems after converting them into the fixed point problems. We also discuss the case when the nonlinearity depends on the Riemann–Liouville fractional integrals of the unknown function. Numerical examples illustrating the main results are presented.

UDC 517.9We prove some results on the existence and uniqueness of fixed points defined on a b -metric space endowed with an arbitrary binary relation.  As applications, we obtain some statements on coincidence points involving a pair of mappings.  Our results generalize, extend, modify and unify several well-known results especially those obtained by Alam and Imdad [J. Fixed Point Theory and Appl., <strong>17</strong>, 693–702 (2015); Fixed Point Theory, <strong>18</strong>, 415–432 (2017); Filomat, <strong>31</strong>, 4421–4439 (2017)] and Berzig [J. Fixed Point Theory and Appl., <strong>12</strong>, 221–238 (2012)].  Also, we provide an example to illustrate the suitability of results obtained.

This paper studies the existence of solutions for a system of coupled hybrid fractional differential equations. We make use of the standard tools of the fixed point theory to establish the main results. The existence and uniqueness result is elaborated with the aid of an example.

The basic motivation of this paper is to extend, generalize, and improve several fundamental results on the existence (and uniqueness) of coincidence points and fixed points for well-known maps in the literature such as Kannan type, Chatterjea type, Mizoguchi-Takahashi type, Berinde-Berinde type, Du type, and other types from the class of self-maps to the class of non-self-maps in the framework of the metric fixed point theory. We establish some fixed/coincidence point theorems for multivalued non-self-maps in the context of complete metric spaces.

In this work we study a class of second order nonlinear neutral integro-differential equations    x(t)+f(t,x(t),x(t))x(t)+∑_{j=1}^{N}∫_{t-τ_{j}(t)}^{t}a_{j}(t,s)g_{j}(s,x(s))ds    +∑_{j=1}^{N}b_{j}(t)x′(t-τ_{j}(t))=0,with variable delays and give some new conditions ensuring that the zero solution is asymptotically stable by means of the fixed point theory. Our work extends and improves previous results in the literature such as, D. Pi <cite>pi2,pi3</cite> and T. A. Burton <cite>b12</cite>. An example is given to illustrate our claim.

The aim of this paper is to prove the existence and uniqueness of points of coincidence and common fixed points for a pair of self-mappings defined on generalized metric spaces with a graph. Our results improve and extend several recent results of metric fixed point theory.

A virus that causes hepatitis E is known as (HEV) and regarded on of the reason for lever inflammation. In mathematical aspects a very low attention has been paid to HEV dynamics. Therefore, the present work explores the HEV dynamics in fractional derivative. The Caputo–Fabriizo derivative is used to study the dynamics of HEV. First, the essential properties of the model will be presented and then describe the HEV model with CF derivative. Application of fixed point theory is used to obtain the existence and uniqueness results associated to the model. By using Adams–Bashfirth numerical scheme the solution is obtained. Some numerical results and tables for arbitrary order derivative are presented.

In two recent papers Dirac has shown how the “duplexity” phenomena of the atom can be accounted for without recourse to the hypothesis of the spinning electron. The investigation is carried out by the methods of non-commutative algebra, the wave function ψ being a matrix of the fourth order. An alternative presentation of the theory, using the methods of wave mechanics, has been given by Darwin. The four-rowed matrix ψ is replaced by four wave functions ψ1, ψ2, ψ3, ψ4 satisfying four linear differential equations of the first order. These functions are related to one particular direction, and the work can only be given invariance of form at the expense of much additional complication, the four wave functions being replaced by sixteen.
