Many real-life problems can be reduced to scalar and vectorial nonlinear equations by using mathematical modeling. In this paper, we introduce a new iterative family of the sixth-order for a system of nonlinear equations. In addition, we present analyses of their convergences, as well as the computable radii for the guaranteed convergence of them for Banach space valued operators and error bounds based on the Lipschitz constants. Moreover, we show the applicability of them to some real-life problems, such as kinematic syntheses, Bratu’s, Fisher’s, boundary value, and Hammerstein integral problems. We finally wind up on the ground of achieved numerical experiments, where they perform better than other competing schemes.

Abstract The iterative fixed points have numerous applications in locating the solution of some real-life problems which can be modelled into linear as well as nonlinear differential and integral equations. In this manuscript, first of all, a new iterative scheme namely Modified CUIA iterative scheme is introduced. We first prove a theorem to check the convergence of this iteration for Hyperbolic Convex metric space. The result is then supported with one example. Further, another theorem is proved establishing the weak T stability of modified CUIA iterative scheme on the above space.

Our aim in this article is to suggest an extended local convergence study for a class of multi-step solvers for nonlinear equations valued in a Banach space. In comparison to previous studies, where they adopt hypotheses up to 7th Fŕechet-derivative, we restrict the hypotheses to only first-order derivative of considered operators and Lipschitz constants. Hence, we enlarge the suitability region of these solvers along with computable radii of convergence. In the end of this study, we choose a variety of numerical problems which illustrate that our works are applicable but not earlier to solve nonlinear problems.

We present an iterative method for solving nonlinear equations. The proposed iterative method has optimal order of convergence sixteen in the sense of Kung-Traub conjecture (Kung and Traub, 1974); it means that the iterative scheme uses five functional evaluations to achieve 16(=25-1) order of convergence. The proposed iterative method utilizes one derivative and four function evaluations. Numerical experiments are made to demonstrate the convergence and validation of the iterative method.

We present a novel filled function approach to solve box-constrained system of nonlinear equations. The system is first transformed into an equivalent nonsmooth global minimization problem, and then a new filled function method is proposed to solve this global optimization problem. Numerical experiments on several test problems are conducted and the computational results are also reported.

We provide a semilocal analysis of the Newton-Kurchatov method for solving nonlinear equations involving a splitting of an operator. Iterative methods have a limited restricted region in general. A convergence of this method is presented under classical Lipschitz conditions. The novelty of our paper lies in the fact that we obtain weaker sufficient semilocal convergence criteria and tighter error estimates than in earlier works. We find a more precise location than before where the iterates lie resulting to at least as small Lipschitz constants. Moreover, no additional computations are needed than before. Finally, we give results of numerical experiments.

This paper presents research of system of nonlinear equations. The algorithms of building a priory estimations, optimal functional estimations and guaranteed estimations of non-stationary parameters of differential equations are offered. These results are spread for discrete-time models. The algorithms of building optimal estimations and guaranteed estimations of non-stationary parameters of difference non-linear equations are offered. The approaches to construct optimal estimations based on Bellman functions and Kalman-Bussi filter. For each algorithms of building optimal functional estimations and guaranteed estimations the error of estimation are offered. We have presented as an example the results of numerical experiments to build guaranteed and optimal estimates for mathematical model of spreading one type of information with external influence. The number of information is taken as key parameter promoting accomplishment of aim. Information is spread in the community along internal (interpersonal communication of the members of social community) and external threads (mass media). Also for simplicity models with a constant number of individuals who are intentionally able to perceive and further spread an informational massage are explored. The model takes the form of non-linear ordinary differential equation with stationary parameters. The peculiarity of such models is that they allow a reasonable level of precision to model the subject area and obtain he results that can be uses in practice. The numerical experiments demonstrated the practical meaning of offered results. The offered approaches except theoretical interest has an important practical meaning. The results can be useful for algorithm development for estimation of dynamic of process in the information-communicative space.

In this paper, we revisited the Ostrowski's method for solving Banach space valued equations. We developed a technique  to determine a subset of the original convergence domain and using this new Lipschitz constants derived. These constants are at least as tight as the earlier ones leading to a finer convergence analysis in both the semi-local and the local convergence case. These techniques are very general, so they can be used to extend the applicability of other methods without additional hypotheses. Numerical experiments complete this study.

An improved line search filter algorithm for the system of nonlinear equations is presented. We divide the equations into two groups, one contains the equations that are treated as equality constraints and the square of other equations is regarded as objective function. Two groups of equations are updated at every iteration in the works by Nie (2004, 2006, and 2006), by Nie et al. (2008), and by Gu (2011), while we just update them at the iterations when it is needed indeed. As a consequence, the scale of the calculation is decreased in a certain degree. Under some suitable conditions the global convergence can be induced. In the end, numerical experiments show that the method in this paper is effective.

The main aim of this manuscript is to propose two new schemes having three and four substeps of order eight and sixteen, respectively. Both families are optimal in the sense to Kung-Traub conjecture. The derivation of them are based on the weight function approach. In addition, theoretical and computational properties are fully investigated along with two main theorems describing the order of convergence. Further, we also provide the local convergence of them in Banach space setting under weak conditions. From the numerical experiments, we find that they perform better than the existing ones when we checked the performance of them on a concrete variety of non- linear scalar equations. Finally, we analyze the complex dynamical behavior of them which also provide a great extent to this.
