This paper presents a novel software framework, called macrosight, which incorporates routines to detect, track, and analyze the shape and movement of objects, with special emphasis on macrophages. The key feature presented in macrosight consists of an algorithm to assess the changes of direction derived from cell–cell contact, where an interaction is assumed to occur. The main biological motivation is the determination of certain cell interactions influencing cell migration. Thus, the main objective of this work is to provide insights into the notion that interactions between cell structures cause a change in orientation. Macrosight analyzes the change of direction of cells before and after they come in contact with another cell. Interactions are determined when the cells overlap and form clumps of two or more cells. The framework integrates a segmentation technique capable of detecting overlapping cells and a tracking framework into a tool for the analysis of the trajectories of cells before and after they overlap. Preliminary results show promise into the analysis and the hypothesis proposed, and lays the groundwork for further developments. The extensive experimentation and data analysis show, with statistical significance, that under certain conditions, the movement changes before and after an interaction are different from movement in controlled cases.

Background: Stroke is a disease caused by disruption of blood flow to areas of the brain that are blocked in the cerebral or cervical arteries which result in decreased or even loss of function controlled by brain tissue. One of the effects caused by stroke is hemiparesis. Rehabilitation therapy plays an important role in a comprehensive restoration of bodily functions due to stroke, this program aims to restore function to reduce disability, one of the treatments is to use acupuncture meridian points. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of acupuncture meridian points in increasing muscle strength in stroke patients. Methods: The research design used in this study was a randomized controlled trial (RCT) design. The number of samples of all stroke patients at the Holistic nursing therapy clinic in Probolinggo and the Healer School Jember Clinic that met the inclusion criteria from October 2020 to March 2021 were 270 respondents. Data collection techniques used observation sheets to assess muscle strength before and after the intervention of acupuncture meridian points in stroke patients. Data analysis used was the Wilcoxon test with a statistical significance value accepted if p <0.05. Results: The results of the data analysis of the intervention group showed a significant value of hand muscle strength (p 0.003; α 0.05) and leg (p 0.005, α 0.05) where (p <0.05) it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in strength. A muscle in the intervention group before and after being given acupuncture. The findings of this study suggest that there is a significant effect of acupuncture on lower and upper muscle strength. Conclusion: In general, the use of acupuncture meridian points can increase muscle strength in stroke patients, so the use of acupuncture meridian points can provide benefits for restoring muscle strength in stroke patients.

This study aims to describe the variables and indicators that affect the performance of farmer groups in forest management before and after the determination of HTR area and analyze the performance of farmer groups in forest management before and after the determination of Community Timber Plantation area. This research is done by the study of diagnostic study and interview then data analysis is done with quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results show that the performance of farmer groups is strongly influenced by group work plans, management areas, land preparation and breeding processes. The performance of farmer groups as a whole is good / not good because not yet the issue of IUPHHK-HTR SK individually by Padang Pobbo forest farmer group.

This study aims to analyze the effect of working capital turnover, cash turnover and account receivable turnover on financial performance through mediation of company liquidity. This study takes the subject of four construction service companies in Indonesia in the period before and after the restructuring and revitalization (2011-2018). Determination of the sample is done by saturation sampling technique. Data analysis with panel data regression test through Eviews program. The results of partial data analysis show that: (1) working capital turnover has a significant effect on company liquidity, however cash turnover and account receivable turnover do not have a significant effect on company liquidity; (2) working capital turnover has a significant effect on the company’s financial performance, but cash turnover and account receivable turnover do not have a significant effect on the company’s financial performance; and (3) liquidity has no significant effect on the company’s financial performance.

SummaryA new method for the assay of plasmin inhibitors in human plasma is described. The method consists of determination of the caseinolytic activity of a standard plasmin solution before and after incubation with the inhibitor, with lysine added to the mixture as a stabilizer of plasmin. Using this method, it was found that plasma contains enough inhibitors to inactivate 30 caseinolytic units of plasmin, or 10 times the normal amount of plasminogen in human plasma.

ABSTRACTBackground: Hypertension is one of the most common diseases, because this disease is suffered byboth men and women, as well as adults and young people. Treatment of hypertension does not onlyrely on medications from the doctor or regulate diet alone, but it is also important to make our bodyalways relaxed. Laughter can help to control blood pressure by reducing endocrine stress andcreating a relaxed condition to deal with relaxation. Objective: The general objective of the study was to determine the effect of laughter therapy ondecreasing elderly blood pressure in UPT Panti Wredha Budhi Dharma Yogyakarta. Methods: The design used in this study is a pre-experimental design study with one group pre-posttestresearch design where there is no control group (comparison). The population in this study wereelderly aged over> 60 years at 55 UPT Panti Wredha Budhi Dharma Yogyakarta. The method oftaking in this study uses total sampling. The sample in this study were 55 elderly. Data analysis wasused to determine the difference in blood pressure before and after laughing therapy with a ratio datascale that was using Pairs T-TestResult: There is an effect of laughing therapy on blood pressure in the elderly at UPT Panti WredhaBudhi Dharma Yogyakarta marked with a significant value of 0.000 (P <0.05)

ABSTRACT The fractional determination of 17-ketosteroids in the daily urine was performed in nine cases of hyperemesis gravidarum and in four control cases, in the first trimester of pregnancy both before and after corticotrophin administration. The excretion of total 17-KS is similar in the two groups. Only in the hyperemesis group does the excretion of total 17-KS increase significantly after corticotrophin administration. The fractional determination reveals no difference between the two groups of patients with regard to the values of the fractions U (unidentified 17-KS), A (androsterone) and Rest (11-oxygenated 17-KS). The excretion of dehydroepiandrosterone is significantly higher in the hyperemesis group than in the control group. The excretion of androstanolone seems to be lower in the hyperemesis group than in the control group, but the difference is not statistically significant. The differences in the correlation between dehydroepiandrosterone and androstanolone in the two groups is significant. The high excretion of dehydroepiandrosterone and low excretion of androstanolone in cases of hyperemesis gravidarum is a sign of adrenal dysfunction.

ABSTRACT The in vitro resin uptake of 3H-prednisolone was used for the determination of blood cortisol after addition of radioactive prednisolone followed by Amberlite CG 400 Type 1 to the test serum, and incubation of the mixture. The radioactivity of the supernatant was compared before and after the addition of the resin. The principle of this method is similar to that of the 131I-triiodothyronine resin uptake for the thyroid function test. The tests for the specificity, reproducibility and sensitivity gave satisfactory results. The mean basal value ± SD of the 3H-prednisolone resin uptake was 35.3 ± 9.2% in normal subjects, and 27.1 ± 4.8% in pregnant women. This method was valid in various adrenal function tests, i. e. the adrenal circadian rhythm, corticotrophin (ACTH) test, dexamethasone suppression test and the adrenal response to lysine-8-vasopressin. It proved to be a sensitive indicator of the adrenal function. These results suggest that this method should be useful for a routine adrenal function test.
