The rapid development of social media data, including geotagged photos, has benefited the research of tourism geography; additionally, tourists’ increasing demand for personalized travel has encouraged more researchers to pay attention to tourism recommendation models. However, few studies have comprehensively considered the content and contextual information that may influence the recommendation accuracy, especially tourist attractions’ visual content due to redundant and noisy geotagged photos; therefore, we propose a tourist attraction recommendation model for Flickr-geotagged photos which fuses spatial, temporal, and visual embeddings (STVE). After spatial clustering and extracting visual embeddings of tourist attractions’ representative images, the spatial and temporal embeddings are modeled with the Word2Vec negative sampling strategy, and the visual embeddings are fused with Matrix Factorization and Bayesian Personalized Ranking. The combination of these two parts comprises our proposed STVE model. The experimental results demonstrate that our STVE model outperforms other baseline models. We also analyzed the parameter sensitivity and component performance to prove the performance superiority of our model.

Not only is the attraction of the culture of his cow easy, but Sumenep Regency has a very beautiful natural attraction. The condition of natural tourism consists of natural scenery, high hills, beaches, high asta and diversity of marine potential. One of the popular tourist objects is Pantai Pantai Sembilan, Gili Labak Island and Gilii which have the best oxygen levels in the world. Tourists from outside the region, especially those who first visited Sumenep Regency will have a little difficulty in accessing tourist attractions in this city because they do not know in detail the information about the location of these tourist attractions. The purpose of this research is to build an Android-based Geographical Information System using the Dijkstra Algorithm, which is expected to help tourists from outside the Sumenep City area in displaying routes from one tourist spot to another. The method that is the basis for designing this GIS is the Graph Method, by applying the shortest route search algorithm, Dijkstra's Algorithm. The expected results with this application are that it can help, simplify, and accelerate tourists in finding and obtaining information about the location of tourist attractions in Sumenep Regency. Based on the closest travel search trials using the Android Application it produces an accuracy of 95%.

Tourist maps are designed to direct tourists to tourist attractions in unfamiliar areas. A well-designed tourist map can provide tourists with sufficient and intuitive information about places of interest. Thus, providing up-to-date information on places of interest and selecting their representative icons are fundamental and important in automatic generation of tourist maps. In this article, approaches for determining places of interest and for determining their representative icons are introduced. In contrast to general digital tourist maps that use text, simple shapes, or three-dimensional models, we use photos that offer abundant visual features of places of interest as icons in tourist maps. The photos are automatically extracted from a repository of photos downloaded from photo-sharing communities. Tourist attractions and their corresponding image icons are determined by means of photo voting and photo quality assessment. Qualitative analyses, including a user study and experiments in several areas with numerous tourist attractions, indicated that the proposed method can generate visually pleasant and elaborate tourist maps. In addition, the analyses indicated that the map produced by our method is better than maps generated by related methods and is comparable to hand-designed tourist maps.

This study aims to examine the effect of consumer behavior on the selection of Dendang Melayu Beach tourist attractions. The respondents of this study were 100 tourists who visited the Batam Dendang Beach. The data analysis method used is inductive statistics using multiple linear regression. The results of this study are the four variables of consumer behavior namely cultural, social, personal and psychological factors partially positive and significant effect on the choice of tourist attractions.

In the era of technological advances, tourists will first seek information about the tourist object to be addressed, even tourists often don't have a destination, so they have to search one by one via the internet. In determining travel plans, it is often to see one by one the review of tourist attractions and conclude the results will take a long time, while tourists need actual and fast information to determine the travel plans. In this study, the authors take a new approach, namely by creating a mobile-based travel planner system that compiles travel plans automatically by considering contextual information related to tourist location points, whether of tourist locations during travel days, travel opening and closing hours, so that it will increase travel efficiency without having to do the research manually which takes a long time. The system can also provide travel recommendations based on visitor comments sentiment on Google Places and is equipped with a trip route that will be generated automatically. This research is useful for helping tourists plan their trip actually because of the consideration of contextual information so that it will make it easier and save tourists time.
