The development of projects using renewable energy sources (RES) necessitates the development of insurance programs and systems. This involves identifying and assessing the risks of renewable energy projects in the transition to new types of energy, determining typical corporate and specific risks, the need and content of the main types, forms of insurance contracts, assessing the financial condition, and choosing insurance organizations and reinsurance programs. This article focuses on the formation of such insurance programs, their interaction with industrial safety systems and ensuring corporate participation in achieving sustainable development goals; as well as selection and assessment of the insurer financial stability and the insurance RES programs economic efficiency.

The construction and commissioning of renewable energy sources is one of the priority areas of energy programs aimed at achieving sustainable development goals. The creation and operation of such sources is associated with significant risks, the management of which is based on real insurance instruments. This article focuses on the formation of a model for assessing the use of insurance in renewable energy projects and presents the business process, stages, risk drivers, and calculation of the economic efficiency of the use of insurance mechanisms in renewable energy projects.

Abstract: Pure and environmentally friendly energy is of significant interest these days. It is one of the key enablements in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), accelerating social progress, and raising the standard of living. This work seeks broad insights into the Indian renewable energy framework, policy, approach, and socio-economic challenges. These include grid-independent and specific activities such as 'Utility-Scale Power Generation, Potential Multiple Geographies in India' and the Government of India's current achievements in advancing renewable energy production. Although much progress and progress has been made in the last decade of alternative energy maturation and expansion, improvements can be sought to increase the use of solar energy for conventional energy sources in India. The development of today's economies is inconceivable without energy. However, fossil fuel reserves are declining, climate change is accelerating and some changes in the energy sector are needed. Renewable energy sources are a potential solution for many scientists and practitioners. However, the planning and implementation of renewable energy projects requires consideration of a number of criteria, which is why multicriteria decision-making methods are often used to evaluate renewable energy sources/technologies. Goal of this paper is to evaluate four types of renewable energy sources (photovoltaic, hydro, biomass and wind energy) in Serbia. Analytical hierarchical process and seven criteria were applied. Based on the obtained results, hydro sources are ranked the best. Also, a sensitivity analysis was conducted to determine whether changes in the priority of criteria would cause changes in the range of alternatives. It was found that major changes in priorities are needed for changes to occur, so it can be concluded that the results obtained are relevant.

The authors study the development of the oil and gas industry and assess the financial efficiency of the use of renewable energy sources, which determine the relevance of the research topic. The purpose of this work is to study the effectiveness of the development of the Russian energy sector and its contribution to the world economy. The main question to which this article should give an answer is that how the Russian power industry will develop in corresponding to the global trends in energy consumption. This paper uses a method for finding the parameters of the efficiency of renewable energy sources using exponential smoothing. The paper uses data from the analytical report of British Petroleum and the Bloomberg system for the period from January 2012 to December 2019. The result of the study shows an improvement in the accuracy of the predicted values, while previous models had higher standard error estimates. The novelty of the study is to achieve accurate results of the forecast of fossil-fuel consumption for 3 years ahead (the forecast accuracy is 80.5). The article concludes that while Russian oil and gas projects are very important for the Russian economy until now, renewable energy projects are more beneficial. In addition, Russia does not seem to support the global trend towards a renewable and sustainable economy. Although oil and gas prices remain acceptable, unforeseen changes in the behavior of real buyers can hinder the efficiency of the Russian economy and lead to a disruption of Russia’s economic growth if Russia does not decisively steer towards renewable energy from now on. The growth of the Russian power industry corresponds to the global trends in fossil energy consumption (while fossil prices, thus incomes keep worsening), and thus innovative solutions for enhancing renewable energies must be adopted. The article proves that many pipeline projects (South Stream, Turkish Stream, Nord Stream 2) move the Russian energy sector back to the past because they just contradict existing trends.

In recent decades, there has been a positive trend in world politics in the field of promoting territories’ sustainable development. At the same time, one of the most relevant areas is to promote the transition to renewable energy sources (RES), which correspond to one of the UN’s goals—Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG 7) “Ensuring universal access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy sources for all”. This article is devoted to the study of the renewable energy sources’ impact on the sustainable development of the Russian Arctic zone. The authors chose the level of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions as an indicator reflecting the impact of RES on sustainable development, since this factor is one of the main factors for assessing trends in the activities of countries aimed at achieving progress on most of the Sustainable Development Goals of territories. The hypothesis of the relationship between the use of renewable energy sources and the achievement of progress on the Sustainable Development Goals, one of the indicators of which is the level of CO2 emissions, was tested and confirmed. An econometric analysis of panel data for 15 countries that are actively implementing the concept of sustainable development, including decarbonizing policies, was carried out ,where the resulting indicator for achieving progress on the SDG was the amount of CO2 emissions. The factors influencing the resulting variable were indicators selected based on a review of existing models, as well as indicators of the Sustainable Development Goals’ achievement. Using an econometric analysis of interdependence, the indicators of progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals that are more likely to have an impact on the level of CO2 emissions were identified. These are electricity consumption, the share of renewable energy sources in the energy balance, the average per capita income of the population, and carbon intensity. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that renewable energy sources are a factor contributing to the achievement of progress on the Sustainable Development Goals. The results obtained are also applicable to the Arctic region, since all countries that have territories in the Arctic zone adhere to the policy of decarbonization and try to reduce the use of fossil fuels.

Renewable energy sources should play an important role in the promotion of numerous Croatian energy goals. The development of a successful sector of renewable could in the long run contribute to energy efficiency improvement, diversification of production and supply safety, domestic production and lesser imports of energy sources and significant reduction of the environmental influences. Targets and strategy of the implementation for every renewable energy resource depends on the specifics of the particular one, with general trends in the European Union of renewable resource ratio increase in the energy balance.

The paper I want to share at this Education Conference is not the result of a research, but it is a product of a 26-year long education career. With all my observations during these 26 years, I found that especially high school students' global awareness is low and developing a better awareness has become the forefront of my education phylosophy, so I create a syllabus and developed a strategic board game. I am a generation X teacher who tries to raise the generation Z kids and construct an education system for the Generation Alpha. On the other hand,Y-generation, my young colleagues that I am working with are also very different from me, but still ,we are sharing the same planet that needs our immediate care and awareness. The main goal of this syllabus is teaching the UN Sustainable Development Goals, so that they can internalize the goals to take actions. This paper contains the basic chapter explanations of the curriculum and the rulee of the strategic board game ECOTOPIA. In short , this curriculum and strategic board game is the product my educational experience and I would like to get support/opinion from my colleagues by presenting them in this conference. The philosophy of the curriculum is rising Global Awareness meanwhile understanding the sustainable development goals (SDG). On the other hand, the game Ecotopia is just covering some development goals. The game focused on renewable energy sources and pollution. When a student starts playing the game he/she has learned the renewable energy sources, pollution sources and etc but by the end of the game he/she would have a solid idea about how other countries affect your nature, how do states make decisions to change their investments nature friendly like electric cars, how unexpeced disasters like earthquake effec the country,how global warming is increasing aoutomatically and as World citizenship you nedd to take some actions to reduce it. Participants in the game need to develop various strategies regarding ecological conditions, sustainable energy sources, as well as attitudes towards air, water, and soil pollution. The goal of every player is to create a healthy and sustainable state.

The article presents the need for the development of renewable energy sources due to the improvement of energy efficiency, safety, and environmental conditions; there is also a worldwide state interest in this area of development. An overview of the production of electricity from renewable energy sources in the world since 1990 is made, and it is noted that the fastest development rates are observed in the solar and wind energy development. The global market for environmental projects financing is analyzed, the instruments for renewable energy projects financing are evaluated, and the green bond market state is presented in detail. Directions for further policies aimed at encouraging increased investment in renewable energy sources are proposed.

Motivated by energy security requirements and the desire to create a sustainable and safe environment, there is a growing need to transition gradually from fossil fuels toward new and emerging energy sources. The energy solutions of the future will require a significant amount of research and development, as well as increased awareness and acceptance of new and emerging energy technologies. Creating a highly educated workforce who will contribute to overcoming future energy challenges is a key component in bringing about this transition. One method of supporting workforce development in future energy solutions is to incorporate new and emerging energy technology directly into required undergraduate coursework. To this end, renewable energy projects were developed and implemented in a required introductory thermal science course in a mechanical engineering technology curriculum. The goal of the projects was to provide students with a deeper understanding of the need for, the advantages of, and the difficulties associated with renewable energy sources. The open-ended semester-long student projects included (1) research on the history and implementation of a renewable energy source, (2) development of an experimental application of the energy source in an energy conversion process, and (3) an economic analysis of the energy source in an assumed application or case study. This paper presents the design and development of these renewable energy projects, and informal and formal evaluation of the effectiveness of the projects over two years of classroom implementation. In addition, the link between the projects and select accreditation criteria for engineering technology programs is discussed.
