The aim of this review paper is to discuss some of the advanced sampling techniques proposed in the last decade in the framework of planar near-field measurements, clarifying the theoretical basis of the different techniques, and showing the advantages in terms of number of measurements. Instead of discussing the details of the techniques, the attention is focused on their theoretical bases to give a gentle introduction to the techniques. For each sampling method, examples on a liner array are discussed to clarify the advantages and disadvantages of the method.

On-site antenna measurement has been recently attracting an increasing interest in order to assess the antenna performance in real operational environments. The complexity and cost of these kind of measurements have been significantly cut down due to recent developments in unmanned aerial vehicles’ (UAVs) hardware and antenna measurement post-processing techniques. In particular, the introduction of positioning and geo-referring subsystems capable of providing centimeter-level accuracy together with the use of phase retrieval techniques and near-field to far-field transformation algorithms, have enabled near field measurements using UAVs. This contribution presents an improved UAV-based on-site antenna measurement system. On the one hand, the simultaneous acquisition on two measurement surfaces has been introduced and calibrated properly, thus reducing geo-referring uncertainties and flight time. On the other hand, the positioning and geo-referring subsystem has been enhanced by means of a dual-band real time kinematics (RTK) unit. The system capabilities were validated by measuring an offset reflector antenna, and the results were compared with the measurements at the spherical range in the anechoic chamber and with the measurements collected with a previous version of the implemented system.

Considered an automated measuring and computing complex for antenna measurements MMAP 0.15 - 12.0 083 B3 generated by the Branch No 1 "Almaz - Antey" Corp. Given its technical and metrological characteristics, analyzed the advantages and disadvantages. Discussed the prospects for near-field measurements as the primary method for carrying out acceptance testing of antenna systems, radio-electronic means of aerospace defense.

Abstract. Automotive electric components are required to pass radiated emission tests. According to CISPR-25 standard (ALSE method), an expensive anechoic chamber is needed for conducting the field emission testing. Reproducibility due to high sensitivity to chamber and setup details is poor. Alternative methods, which perform measurements without using a chamber are preferred. This paper provides an alternative pre-compliance method for predicting the fields of CISPR-25 results for frequencies below 30 MHz, based mainly on electric near-field measurements. The motivation is that common-mode current measurements or magnetic near-field measurement based methods give good field prediction above 30 MHz, but fail below 30 MHz. The proposed method applies Huygens' Principle for field prediction. The electric field distribution for the defined Huygens' surface and the equivalent currents are estimated from a small number of field measurements close to the ground plane. It is shown that the electric field can be well predicted, compared with a full-wave simulation the deviation is within 4 dB, compared with a standard antenna measurement up to 3 MHz the deviation is less than 1 dB.

Abstract. The characterization of antenna radiation patterns by transformed near-field measurements requires accurate amplitude and phase data. This represents a problem since expensive measurement equipment is required, especially at millimeter and submillimeter wavelengths (Isernia et al., 1996). Amplitude-only antenna field measurements are theoretically sufficient for the unique determination of antenna far-fields. Therefore, phaseless techniques are of special interest. However, the required field transformations are extremely challenging, since they are nonlinear and strongly ill-posed. In this work, the amplitude-only or phaseless near-field far-field transformation problem is formulated as a nonlinear optimization problem. The linear radiation operator within the nonlinear formulation is evaluated using the fast irregular antenna field transformation algorithm (FIAFTA). A hybrid solution procedure is described which combines a genetic algorithm with an iterative conjugate gradient (CG) search method. Numerical results prove the efficiency and flexibility of the formulation and it is shown that the algorithm remains stable when the noise level in the measurements is moderate. Nevertheless, regularization techniques might be beneficial to further improve the robustness of the algorithm.

ABSTRAK The purpose of this research is to explain the effect of Internal Factors toward student interest in entrepreneurship on Economics and Business Faculty of Jambi University. Sampling techniques used on is Non-Probability Sampling with Convenience Sampling Method. The number of respondents is 100 consumers. Technique analysis for this research use descriptive analysis to describe the research variables and multiple regression analysis to find the effect between research variables using SPSS 20.0.
