The implementation of pedagogical models (PMs) in the subject of Physical Education (PE) is presented as a pedagogical approach that is based on the educational context as a means to overcome the serious limitations that arise from traditional approaches. The effective implementation of this approach has demonstrated benefits in terms of student motivation, student involvement and improved learning. Thus, its application and international relevance, the variability of content covered, the possibility of replicability in a variety of contexts and the fact that it favors a reflective framework and common action by teachers are some of the reasons that justify its use. In this sense, the need for teacher training, as well as the intention to generate more scientific evidence based on its application in the classroom, are some of the key aspects to be taken into account for its implementation and consequent consolidation in the educational field.

Abstract: School constitutes a space reproducing heteronormative culture and gender patterns, roles, and norms, especially in the area of Physical Education, in which gender is usually a topic taken into account daily. Not all people identify themselves with one of the two socially established sexes: male or female, as they may identify themselves with both or none of them. The purpose of this article is to review the literature in order to explore the incidence of the theme of diversity in gender identity and expression in the Primary Education stage, and specifically in the area of Physical Education. The review was carried out in different databases and sources of international indexing: Dialnet, EBSCO, ERIC, DOAJ, Pubmed, and WOS, as well as in specialized books in fields close to the subject. No data addressing non-binary gender identities in the educational field was found within Primary Education and Physical Education. This shows a current and realistic topic pending to be approached from the educational field.

Abstract: Studying and experiencing folk dances from a sociocultural perspective (Conesa, 2017) is an opportunity for students to understand the context of movements that make sense as forms of expression, embedded into dances from different parts of the world. In addition, this is an important tool for the instruction of future Physical Education teachers, who do not usually see themselves as really in a position to teach this content (Cañabate, Rodríguez & Zagalaz, 2016). In this context, the objective is to offer a didactic experience that brings future Physical Education teachers closer to the content of folk dances, in order to increase their knowledge about the subject and encourage training to complete the curriculum. The project was conducted in the subject of Physical Artistic-Expressive Activities, with a total of 108 undergraduates enrolled in the Physical Activity and Sports Sciences (CAFyD) degree. The design of the didactic experience was divided into: theoretical construction, practical experience of folk dances of the five continents, and experimenting role play with the students. From this experience, students within the university were introduced to the topic of dances from different continents. The theoretical-practical experience of folk dances is an alternative to be considered, as it contributes as an educational tool both for the training and qualification of Physical Education teachers and for the approach of students to dancing and its sociocultural value.

Abstract. The research project with the highest scientific rank and the greatest resources dedicated to the study of school education in the European Union's Framework Programme: INCLUD-ED, shows that the practices of successful schools in Europe are in line with the dialogical approach to learning. In an educational school where  students belong to 36 different nationalities, the implementation of dialogical forms of organization in the classroom, such as interactive groups, is proposed. The present study aimed to analyze the type of grouping in the classroom through interactive groups in order to check, on the one hand, their impact on motivation and the satisfaction of basic psychological needs, and on the other hand, to what extent these interactive groups influence theoretical learning. For this purpose, 113 participants in the subject of Physical Education, from third and fourth year of Compulsory Secondary Education, received two classes through different classroom organizations: a traditional organization (TRAD) as a control group, and with interactive groups (GIN), respectively. The degree of satisfaction of basic psychological needs, the degree of motivation, and the acquisition of specific theoretical knowledge of the subject were evaluated. The results show both improvements in theoretical knowledge and greater satisfaction of basic psychological needs and intrinsic motivation of GIN compared to TRAD.

Mobile applications are integrated into students’ lives and, therefore, their use for educational purposes can become a resource to improve the learning-teaching process. Simultaneously, the use of applications can help increase the level of motivation in the integration of physical activity into their day-to-day life and extracurricular time. The objective of the didactic experience was to analyze the effect of the use of the Endomondo application in Physical Education subject. In the didactic experience, with a quasiexperimental design without pretest, 138 students in the third and fourth years of Compulsory Secondary Education (64 girls and 74 boys; 15.4±0.5 years) agreed to participate voluntarily in this research. It was implemented in a secondary high school in the southern of Spain, with a medium socio-culture index and integrated into the curriculum of the subject of Physical Education. The students carried out collective challenges by group-class as well as individually. The results showed that a majority of the students participated (81.7%), with family involvement, in addition to the generic achievement of the collective (83.3%) and individual challenges (84.4%). The use of new technologies can be an educational resource that helps increase the amount of time adolescents dedicate to physical activity.

Physical Education is one of the subjects that arouses the most interest in children. The aim of this study is to find out the opinion that primary school students have about the Physical Education class. Drawings from a sample of 62 students from an educational centre in the city of Jaén, aged between six and eight years old, were analysed. The results show that the larger size of the drawings corresponds to the aspects that are to be emphasised. This subject is carried out regularly in the sports pavilion of the centre, making frequent use of materials such as sticks, hoops or balls. Cheerful colours are used, reflecting their enthusiasm for the subject. The smiling facial expression represents the schoolchildren’s interest in the subject. The most popular games or sports are basketball and pichi, both of them collective.

Research on the role of mobile learning in computational thinking is limited, and even more so in its use in initial teacher education. Aligned to this there is a need to consider how to introduce and expose pre-service teachers to computational thinking constructs within the context of the subject area they will teach in their future classrooms. This paper outlines a quasi-experimental study to examine the role of mobile learning in facilitating computational thinking development amongst pre-service teachers in initial teacher education. The study enquires if there are significant differences in grades achieved in computational thinking and programming learning when mobile learning is introduced. Findings showed and reaffirmed the positive influence of the mobile applications on the development of computational thinking amongst the pre-service teachers who participated.

The article considers a generalizing characteristic of the citizen's wellbeing in the territory of residence, assesses indicators based on statistical data, and makes adjustments due to safety indicators. The author's diagnostic technique was used, which includes corrective indicators. For this purpose, the method of express diagnostics was applied, which made it possible to select the 8 most significant from 12 modules and 43 indicators of economic security. The rate of change of each of the 8 indicators was taken into account, which made it possible to determine the changes in these indicators and the predisposition to one degree or another of the socio-economic crisis. A change in the trend of an indicator can lead to the opposite effect at the expense of other main influencing indexes. This takes into account the borderline state of the indicator, namely, its rate of growth or decline and predisposition to a particular crisis zone. The turning zones of the trend of changes in indicators have been determined. The object of the research is the well-being of the individual in the territory of residence for each subject of the Ural Federal District. The authors made an attempt to consider in the analysis not just the population of the subject (the number of people), but also to assess the personality from the standpoint of moral development, the level of education, the available opportunities for spiritual development, the provision of benefits necessary to maintain life and the degree of satisfaction of the needs of the population. This will allow to carry out the current analysis of the state, but also to consider the forecast dynamics of change for the next 2 to 3 years. The results obtained can be used in the current assessment of the socio-economic situation in the regions of Russia, as well as in planning and forecasting individual indicators of individual citizen wellbeing in the territory of residence
