Mit neuen zielgerichteten Therapeutika soll das Outcome auch beim frühen Her2/neu überexprimierenden Mammakarzinom noch weiter verbessert werden. Die auf dem San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS) 2010 vorgestellten Studien zeigten laut Prof. Wolfgang Eiermann, München, dass Taxane wie Docetaxel (Taxotere®) auch in diesen Regimen unentbehrlich sind, um eine hohe Rate an histopathologischen Komplettremissionen (pCR) zu erzielen.
