Quantum information theory, an interdisciplinary field that includes computer science, information theory, philosophy, cryptography, and entropy, has various applications for quantum calculus. Inequalities and entropy functions have a strong association with convex functions. In this study, we prove quantum midpoint type inequalities, quantum trapezoidal type inequalities, and the quantum Simpson’s type inequality for differentiable convex functions using a new parameterized q-integral equality. The newly formed inequalities are also proven to be generalizations of previously existing inequities. Finally, using the newly established inequalities, we present some applications for quadrature formulas.

Quantum information theory, an interdisciplinary field that includes computer science, information theory, philosophy, cryptography, and symmetry, has various applications for quantum calculus. Inequalities has a strong association with convex and symmetric convex functions. In this study, first we establish a p,q-integral identity involving the second p,q-derivative and then we used this result to prove some new trapezoidal type inequalities for twice p,q-differentiable convex functions. It is also shown that the newly established results are the refinements of some existing results in the field of integral inequalities. Analytic inequalities of this nature and especially the techniques involved have applications in various areas in which symmetry plays a prominent role.

In accordance with the quantum calculus, we introduced the two variable forms of Hermite-Hadamard- ( H H -) type inequality over finite rectangles for generalized Ψ -convex functions. This novel framework is the convolution of quantum calculus, convexity, and special functions. Taking into account the q ^ 1 q ^ 2 -integral identity, we demonstrate the novel generalizations of the H H -type inequality for q ^ 1 q ^ 2 -differentiable function by acquainting Raina’s functions. Additionally, we present a different approach that can be used to characterize H H -type variants with respect to Raina’s function of coordinated generalized Ψ -convex functions within the quantum techniques. This new study has the ability to generate certain novel bounds and some well-known consequences in the relative literature. As application viewpoint, the proposed study for changing parametric values associated with Raina’s functions exhibits interesting results in order to show the applicability and supremacy of the obtained results. It is expected that this method which is very useful, accurate, and versatile will open a new venue for the real-world phenomena of special relativity and quantum theory.

Recently, a new Ostrowski type inequality on time scales for k points was proved in [G. Xu, Z. B. Fang: A Generalization of Ostrowski type inequality on time scales with k points. Journal of Mathematical Inequalities (2017), 11(1):41-48]. In this article, we extend this result to the 2-dimensional case. Besides extension, our results also generalize the three main results of Meng and Feng in the paper [Generalized Ostrowski type inequalities for multiple points on time scales involving functions of two independent variables. Journal of Inequalities and Applications (2012), 2012:74]. In addition, we apply some of our theorems to the continuous, discrete, and quantum calculus to obtain more interesting results in this direction. We hope that results obtained in this paper would find their place in approximation and numerical analysis.

Abstract In the article, we provide an example for a η-convex function defined on rectangle is not convex, prove that every η-convex function defined on rectangle is coordinate η-convex and its converse is not true in general, define the coordinate $(\eta _{1}, \eta _{2})$(η1,η2)-convex function and establish its Hermite–Hadamard type inequality.

Integral inequalities for ℘-convex functions are established by using a generalised fractional integral operator based on Raina’s function. Hermite–Hadamard type inequality is presented for ℘-convex functions via generalised fractional integral operator. A novel parameterized auxiliary identity involving generalised fractional integral is proposed for differentiable mappings. By using auxiliary identity, we derive several Ostrowski type inequalities for functions whose absolute values are ℘-convex mappings. It is presented that the obtained outcomes exhibit classical convex and harmonically convex functions which have been verified using Riemann–Liouville fractional integral. Several generalisations and special cases are carried out to verify the robustness and efficiency of the suggested scheme in matrices and Fox–Wright generalised hypergeometric functions.

Abstract In this work, the Green’s function of order two is used together with Fink’s approach in Ostrowski’s inequality to represent the difference between the sides of the Sherman’s inequality. Čebyšev, Grüss and Ostrowski-type inequalities are used to obtain several bounds of the presented Sherman-type inequality. Further, we construct a new family of exponentially convex functions and Cauchy-type means by looking to the linear functionals associated with the obtained inequalities.

In this work, Sherman-Steffensen type inequalities for convex functions with not necessarily non-negative coefficients are established by using Steffensen?s conditions. The Brunk, Bellman and Olkin type inequalities are derived as special cases of the Sherman-Steffensen inequality. The superadditivity of the Jensen-Steffensen functional is investigated via Steffensen?s condition for the sequence of the total sums of all entries of the involved vectors of coeffecients. Some results of Baric et al. [2] and of Krnic et al. [11] on the monotonicity of the functional are recovered. Finally, a Sherman-Steffensen type inequality is shown for a row graded matrix.

The purpose of this paper is to establish a weighted Montgomery identity for k points and then use this identity to prove a new weighted Ostrowski type inequality. Our results boil down to the results of Liu and Ngô if we take the weight function to be the identity map. In addition, we also generalize an inequality of Ostrowski-Grüss type on time scales for k points. For k=2, we recapture a result of Tuna and Daghan. Finally, we apply our results to the continuous, discrete, and quantum calculus to obtain more results in this direction.

In the article, we present several generalizations for the generalized Čebyšev type inequality in the frame of quantum fractional Hahn’s integral operator by using the quantum shift operator  σΨqς=qς+1−qσς∈l1,l2,σ=l1+ω/1−q,0<q<1,ω≥0. As applications, we provide some associated variants to illustrate the efficiency of quantum Hahn’s integral operator and compare our obtained results and proposed technique with the previously known results and existing technique. Our ideas and approaches may lead to new directions in fractional quantum calculus theory.
