Rapid industrial development has caused a series of environmental problems, which is not conducive to sustainable development of society as a whole. It is necessary to build a sustainable development evaluation system. Most of the existing literature has evaluated corporate sustainable performance from the economy, environment and society on the basis of triple bottom lines. Considering the research gap and the practice need, an evaluation system is established from four dimensions, referred to as economy, society, environment and responsibility management, and 29 indicators are designed to measure these four dimensions. Twenty seven listed Chinese mining corporations are selected as research samples, and the entropy-weight-based Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method is applied to calculate indicators’ weights. Results show that the four dimensions of sustainable performance weights from high to low are society, environment, economy, and management process.

Resources and environment is the carrier and material basis of regional sustainable development. Regional high-quality development must adhere to the protection of resources and environment. Based on the investigation and empirical analysis of the current situation of industrial development in Datong County of Qinghai Province, this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to promote the coordinated high-quality development of resources, environment and industry in Datong County.

In order to improve the rationality and fairness of Teachers’ “Double-qualified” Ability, the article establishes an evaluation model based on 14 evaluation indexes of teachers’ “double-qualified” ability. it adopts Delphi - entropy weight method to weight the evaluation index, and then combines TOPSIS method to evaluate the evaluation object. In the evaluation of TOPSIS method, the traditional TOPSIS weight method was improved, and the entropy weight-delphi method was used to determine the index weight, which was a combination of subjective and objective, making the evaluation system more objective, scientific and reasonable. It not only avoids the subjectivity of decision makers and limitations, but also eliminates the phenomenon of indexes in common impact assessment results and finally applies it to a university teacher “Double division and triple energy” evaluation system, to provide theoretical basis and feasibility analysis for the “double type” teachers team construction. This research proposes a sustainable development evaluation index for the Taiwan Taoyuan Aerotropolis development project in response to related development strategy, planning, and future development needs. The framework for a Taiwan Taoyuan Aerotropolis Sustainable Development Index Evaluation System includes 8 aspects, 37 evaluation indices and 104 secondary evaluation indices. In determining what to include in the evaluation index, the writers referenced national sustainable development policies and invited governmental agencies involved with the project to engage in focused interviews with experts so as to enhance the drafting of the Taiwan Taoyuan Aerotropolis Sustainable Development Index Evaluation System Framework. The results of this research work can be used as a basis for evaluating the future efficacy of the Aerotropolis development.

Abstract The vulnerability of a city is an important index to evaluate the healthy development of a city, and also an important guide to the harmonious and sustainable development of resource-based cities. This paper constructs the vulnerability assessment system of resource-based cities from four dimensions of resources, ecology, society and economy, and puts forward the Entropy Weight-TOPSIS model to study the dynamic changes of urban vulnerability in the resource-based city—Karamay. The research results show that the urban vulnerability score of Karamay rose steadily from 2008 to 2017, but the overall vulnerability score was always between 0.1 and 0.2, indicating that the urban vulnerability of Karamay has not significantly improved and is still in the stage of extremely fragile economic and social comprehensive development. The ecological vulnerability, social vulnerability and economic vulnerability of Karamay show a good trend of improvement, and social development contributes the most to the comprehensive vulnerability of the city, while the score of resource vulnerability shows a significant decline. Resource development and utilization is still the key to determine the healthy and sustainable development of Karamay.

As a large agricultural nation, China attaches great importance to agricultural development, as sustainable, regional agricultural development affects the sustainable development of China. Taking Chengdu, Sichuan Province as an example, this paper selected indicators and data from the past 15 years from the Chengdu Statistical Yearbook and applied the dissipative structure theory to establish an evaluation system for sustainable, regional agricultural development based on five main factors including economy, society, environment, education, and population. The entropy weight method was used to empower each indicator, and the changes in Chengdu’s sustainable agricultural development in the past 15 years were calculated. It was found that Chengdu’s sustainable agricultural development has been annually increasing, among which, economic and education subsystems had the greatest support for sustainable agricultural development. From 2003 to 2017, the entropy change of the total agricultural sustainable development system in Chengdu was negative, and the total entropy of the system gradually decreased. The sustainable agricultural development system in Chengdu has been developing towards a more orderly dynamic equilibrium state.

According to literature review and the data of China’s logistics listed companies, this paper firstly designs the high-quality development evaluation system of logistics enterprises and establishes the panel data model group. Secondly, the method of entropy weight-Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution(TOPSIS method)is used to synthesize and regress the indexes, and obtains that the fitting degree of the model is low, which is caused by the lack of data of some indicators in the logistics enterprises. Due to the gray nature of data information, the improved gray relational model and the three-dimensional gray relational model are constructed to study, in-depth, the strategic focus and breakthrough of high-quality development of Chinese logistics enterprises. The research finds that the innovation and the operation ability of Chinese logistics enterprises are weak, which shows specifically in the following aspects: (1) The irrational structure of the employees, the proportion of employees with a bachelor degree or above is small, and the high-education personnel fail to significantly promote the corporate performance; (2) R&D expenditure has little effect on the high-quality development of enterprises. The proportion of R&D expenses is small and cannot be translated into actual benefits, and the ability of enterprise management innovation is insufficient. According to these findings, this paper gives three lean paths for the high-quality development of China’s logistics enterprises.

In multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problems, uncertain decision information is well-represented by linguistic term sets (LTSs). These LTSs are easily converted into probabilistic linguistic sets (PLTSs). In this paper, a TOPSIS method is proposed for probabilistic linguistic MAGDM in which the attribute weights are completely unknown, and the decision information is in the form of probabilistic linguistic numbers (PLNs). First, the definition of the scoring function is used to solve the probabilistic linguistic entropy, which is then employed to objectively derive the attribute weights. Second, the optimal alternatives are determined by calculating the shortest distance from the probabilistic linguistic positive ideal solution (PLPIS) and on the other side the farthest distance of the probabilistic linguistic negative ideal solution (PLNIS). This proposed method extends the applications range of the traditional entropy-weighted method. Moreover, it doesn’t need the decision-maker to give the attribute weights in advance. Finally, a numerical example for supplier selection of new agricultural machinery products is used to illustrate the use of the proposed method. The result shows the approach is simple, effective and easy to calculate. The proposed method can contribute to the selection of suitable alternative successfully in other selection problems.
