With the rapid development of the time-sharing rental business model for electric vehicles, the remote control speed of the electric vehicle terminals device, as the most important part of the whole time-sharing rental business process, affects directly the integrity of the business process and the using feelings of consumers. However, the traditional remote control system by using general packet radio service (GPRS), 3G, and 4G long term evolution (LTE) wireless communication methods responds longer and slower in weak signal area, which directly affects the user’s feeling and management strength of platform management center for the electric vehicle. Therefore, in this paper, (1) the acoustic communication technology as an auxiliary communication method is introduced in the novel vehicle terminal; (2) In order to increase the anti-noise ability, “amplitude-shift keying (ASK) + frequency-shift keying (FSK)” compound modulation and “double microphone input” technology are used in the vehicle terminal, which develops a novel vehicle terminal with the high anti-noise acoustic wave communication function for the electric vehicle in time-sharing rental mode; and (3) the mobile phone acoustic waves can be used by the proposed vehicle terminal to control the door of electric vehicle, which provides a firm technical support for ensuring the fluency and completeness of the whole process. Tests prove that the acoustic communication technology of the novel vehicle terminal can realize the rapid response of the vehicle terminal, which effectively solves the problem of a prolonged and slow response in the vehicle terminal of the electric vehicle in the weak signal area.

Business advances its business process in order to adapt to a constantly changing situation in economy and society. Analysis of buyers' burstiness assists in optimization of flow of business process in order to increase the profit. However, burstiness in quasi-group decision making in business settings has not attracted a lot of research efforts. The aim of the chapter is to explore the nature, origins, and impact of burstiness in quasi-group decision making in business settings underpinning implementation of an empirical study and elaboration of a new research question for further studies. The meaning of such key concepts as burstiness, mirror neurons, quasi-group, and decision making is studied. Moreover, the study demonstrates how the key concepts are related to the idea of business settings. The novel contribution of this manuscript is the newly defined research question on burstiness in quasi-group decision making in business settings. Directions of further research are proposed.

Optimization of business process assists in efficient organization of business process. For the success of optimization of business process, a simulation model based on gap processes for the analysis of buyers' burstiness in business process has been proposed. However, the model has to be validated. The aim of the research is to implement a validation approach to the simulation model based on gap processes for the optimization of business process underpinning elaboration of a new research question on the model validity. The meaning of the key concepts of “validation,” “model validation,” and “model validation approach” is studied. The results of the present research show that the application of real system measurements validates the simulation model for the optimization of business process. The novel contribution of the manuscript is revealed in the newly created research question on the proposed model validity. Directions of future research are proposed.

Business Process Reengineering (BPR) is defined as “the fundamental rethinking and radical redesign of business processes to achieve significant improvements of the performances, such as cost, quality, service, and speed” (Hammer & Champy, 1993). Most BPR projects aim at converting business organisations from hierarchical centralised structures to networked decentralised business units cooperating with one another. This conversion is assuming a strategic relevance as the Internet is changing radically business processes, not only because they are purposely reengineered, but also because the Internet and the information and communication technology, offer more convenient means of fulfilling their requirement.

Aiming at the new challenge of Internet of Tings (IOT) and Cyber-Physical System (CPS), the correlative technology and its application in information perception were introduced. Intelligent perception is a synthetic technology, and its core techniques are cyber physic device and remote control. The former concerns sensor technology, embedding technology and the host device’s intelligentize, and the later concerns the adaptable development of inter-networking technology, computer technology and communication technology. It is urgent to pay attention to the confluence of physical world and information world, catch hold of the chance, and research the networked intelligent solution for Smart Distribution Grid information perception.
