Recently, as dependence and demand for electricity are rapidly increasing in all areas, including industry, methods for increasing capacity and reliability through parallel operations have been studied. In general, Modbus communication method with RS485 is used as a method of parallel operation for capacity increase. However, this method has a disadvantage in that it is a half-duplex communication system that cannot transmit and receive at the same time. However, the Modbus communication method is a half-duplex communication system where physical transmission and reception cannot be performed simultaneously. Therefore, as the number of power converters performing parallel operation increases, the communication period increases, which affects the power quality due to the decrease in control speed. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a hardware that can achieve a full-duplex communication method by a communication signal level to improve power quality. The characteristic of the proposed communication hardware is that the transmitter generates two-level signals for data transmission, but the receiver generates three-level electrical signals according to the state of the transmission data generated by the receiver. The generated three-level electrical signal is characterized in that the data transmission signal information of the transmitter and the data transmission signal information of the receiver occur at the same time. As a result, the communication speed is reduced by more than twice, which improves the power quality by improving the control characteristics when performing parallel operation.

Currently, the industry is using the MODBUS communication method, utilizing RS485 for the distributed equipment and network construction. This method has a rather good transmission and reception distance but has a disadvantage in that it is a half-duplex communication method that cannot simultaneously transmit and receive. Therefore, there is a great need for a full-duplex communication system that can simultaneously transmit and receive two-wire communications. Therefore, in this paper, we propose new communication hardware equipment that can implement a full-duplex communication method by communication signal level in order to overcome the disadvantage of communication speed when using a full-duplex communication method by time division method. The proposed communication hardware is a structure that can transmit and receive at the same time in such a way that two pieces of equipment communicating by two-wire communication can apply the outgoing signal to the same communication line and detect the received signal at the same time. Therefore, the receiving side can analyze the received signal based on the information on the current transmission signal. This signal can only be analyzed by the two communicating devices, indicating that communication security is very good.

5G communication system is rapidly taking shape and for many organizations, including administrations, it is important to be aware of developments in this regard. At this stage, it is essential to know about 5G use cases and possible key technologies. This paper describes several anticipated 5G use cases across a handful of different sectors. It is important to remember that these comprise only a subset of possible use cases and these are all still new. As-yet more new use cases are expected to emerge and the need to prepare their adaption in 5G and beyond. From wireless transmission, wireless access and network perspectives, the possible key technologies of 5G, including Massive Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO), Beam-forming, Device-to-Device communication system (D2D), non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA), Full duplex, Small cells, cognitive radio(CR), etc. and their latest progress are presented comprehensively and thoroughly. Each has enormous advantages but also limitations. The Full duplex which will help to double the capacity of the channel compared to the Half-duplex technology of 4G and Small cells combined with millimeter waves to have a wide bandwidth. These Small-Cells are essential for energy reduction and also for improving latency. But these Small-Cells require the use of intelligent antennas, that is to say, the diagrams of which are directive and reconfigurable at the request of the user Future research challenges regarding 5G and beyond wireless communication are also discussed.

Visible Light Communication is a communication method that transmits data through light by pulsing an LED at high speed, performing broadcast communication for all devices existing in its coverage. Broadcast-based Visible Light Communication is limited to application to Internet of Things services, where various applications exist, although all receivers can communicate within the range of light sources. Therefore, this paper proposes an LED based Visible Light Communication system for multicast. The proposed system performs individual multicast by participating in communication only with receivers configured to use a specified ID value input at the transmitting side during data transmission. Experimental results show that the receiver can receive files individually according to a specified ID value.
