In this study, a new rig for investigating the static and dynamic stability of agricultural machines was conceived: its architecture was studied and its layout was designed following a specific conceptual approach. The first part of the proposed design process specifically addresses the test equipment and follows a ‘top-down’ logic starting from the requisites of the tests to perform. This approach alternates analysis and synthesis phases and exploits two important principles of the creative design process: functional analysis and decomposition, and kinematic inversion. During this process, many solutions (kinematic mechanisms, actuators) were proposed and discussed based on their advantages and disadvantages towards the definition of an optimal configuration. Therefore, the layout of a new mechanical system has been developed, which is supposed to steer subsequent and more detailed design-phases appropriately. The proposed facility has many innovative features compared to traditional test systems, in which vehicles are tested for lateral overturning under static conditions with the steering components (wheels/central joint for conventional/articulated vehicles) usually in a configuration corresponding only to a straight-path trajectory. Indeed, the present test rig is a mechanical installation with three degrees of freedom. It presents a wide plane, which can be tilted, composed by two semi-platforms connected by a central articulation hinge, operated by hydraulic jacks which allow the different angulations of the semi-platforms. It is specifically thought for performing dynamic stability tests of vehicles, especially on circular trajectories. An additional subsystem embedded in one of the two semi-platforms, configured as a rotating platform (‘turntable’), can test the global (static) stability of motionless vehicles placed on it.

Kata kunci: dinamik pesawat; kestabilan dinamik; kestabilan statik; enjin scramjet A study of the static and dynamic stability of an hypothetical hypersonic transport aircraft was conducted based on a mathematical model of the longitudinal motion of the aircraft flying at a number of different flight conditions. The result from the stability analysis has shown that the aircraft becomes even less stable at higher Mach numbers and heights than the nominal flight condition. Also discussed here is the scramjet engine condition when the aircraft was simulated to be flying at hypersonic speeds and different heights. Key words: aircraft dynamics; dynamic stability; static stability; scramjet engine

This paper discusses the static and dynamic stability analysis of rack or frame computer/server products during shipping and relocation. The static stability is the ability of server products to resist tipping over on a typical raised floor in a datacenter or when it is installed in its operational product environment. The dynamic stability is the ability to resist tipping over when a velocity change occurs during re-location either on flat or inclined planes. The product consists of a frame or a rack in which components such as processor units, input-output units and power supplies are installed. The static stability analysis presented here calculates the tip over threshold angle, which is the maximum angle of an inclined plane on which the product can be placed without tipping over. The location of the installed components in a frame, the dimension and weight of the installed components, and the dimension of the product dictate the overall static stability of the product. Specifically, those parameters affect the location of the center of gravity of the product and the tip over threshold angle. The tip over threshold angle is a critical parameter influencing the dynamic stability of the product.. The dynamic stability of an unpackaged product moving on casters can be calculated using the conservation of mechanical energy principle. Finite element modeling is a good way to evaluate the dynamic stability of a product during manual handling or mechanical handling; for instance, on a forklift. The objective of the finite element modeling is to provide guidelines on the maximum speed, minimum radius curvature, and safe turning speed of a forklift when transporting a product. The main objective of the analysis presented here is to provide a method for analyzing the static and dynamic stability of a rack style computer server product during shipping, relocation, and handling.

The purpose of this work is to study the self-starting of induction motors for the auxiliary needs of power plants and substations as well as the mutual influence of motors on each other under short-term voltage dips and after voltage recovery on the buses to which these motors are connected. The object of the research is the operating VIII section with the capacity of 0.4 kV of the auxiliary service system with 9 induction motors of the heat and power plant no.1 in the city of Dushanbe (Republic of Tajikistan). Simulation modeling was carried out in the software package Electrical Transient Analyzer Program (USA) using algebraic and simplified differential equations to determine the values of indicators of static and dynamic stability of auxiliary needs of power plants and substations. As a result of modeling, the values of indicators of static and dynamic stability of the auxiliary needs system of power stations are determined. Based on the results obtained the margins of static and dynamic stability of auxiliary needs of power plants and substations are constructed and the conditions for implementing the optimal self-start, which allow to ensure uninterrupted operation of responsible mechanisms with induction motors at voltage dips are determined. The developed methods for studying the self-starting of power plant and substation auxiliary need induction motors ensures more accurate determination of the values of static stability voltages and dynamic stability time. The developed simulation model allows to specify and determine the success of induction motor self-starting in the systems of power plant and substation auxiliary needs. The developed methods are recommended for more precise selection of operating values for relay protection and automation as well as technological protection in the systems of auxiliary needs of power plants and substations with induction motors for more reliable operation of the main and auxiliary technological equipment.

The analysis of the influence of neuromarketing as a tool for marketing activities in the Internet environment, to increase the loyalty of tourists to tourism enterprises in the context of the service sector. The channels of percep-tion on which neuromarketing affects are analyzed and structured. Analyze different approaches to the definition of the essence of neuromarketing on which prompted the author's vision of the related concepts. The article considers the concept of neuromarketing and its interpretation. Аn overview of neuromarketing tools, their advantages and disadvantages, and the possible scope of their application is given. The main problems of using neuromarketing tools are also discussed. The research points to the usefulness of neuromarketing at positioning the destination brand. Problems and prospects of using neuromarketing in the Internet space for promoting tourist services are con-sidered. Additionally, the complexity of neuromarketing research perception means that it is inadvisable to use the obtained data in isolation. It is proved that the perception of information on the Internet changes every year, as evidenced, for example, the so-called "banner blindness", new methods and communication channels are needed to support the loyalty of existing customers and attract new ones. The areas where used neuromarketing: strategic instrumentary, neuromarketing research are considered and systematized. In addition, it has been proven that information that is provided without visual support is usually not perceived as effective. It has been proved that neuromarketing in symbiosis with traditional marketing methods and tools provides an opportunity to solve several the above problems. The appliance of neuromarketing tourism market research thus assumes a novel conceptual approach, one that quite differs from the standard. Keywords: neuromarketing, strategic marketing, internet marketing, marketing in tourism.

The purpose of this research is an analysis of the static and dynamic stability of the Modular Airplane System (MAS). The MAS is designed to perform suborbital space flights. The concept assumes that two tailless vehicles bonded together form a conventional aircraft where the wing of the second one is used as the horizontal tail of the whole system. The CFD calculations, and the stability and control derivatives were conducted by the PANUKL package, which uses a low order panel method for the aerodynamic analysis. The analysis of the static and dynamic stability was performed by the SDSA package. Only the selected part of the MAS mission was investigated. The results that will be presented have been divided into three parts: static stability, longitudinal dynamic stability and lateral dynamic stability. The MAS has a few possible applications. The first one is a suborbital space tourism flight. Moreover, it can be used as a lunching vehicle for micro satellites or as a testing platform for new space technology to improve their TRL level. Finally, in the far future, it could be used as a fast point-to-point travel system. The paper presents the results of the static and dynamic stability of a unique aircraft configuration which consists of two tailless vehicles. The research focuses on a situation where the vehicles are just before separation and their mass is similar. Moreover, the influence of the second vehicle’s position with respect to the first one is included.

Conventional design practices regard gender as a given precondition defined by femininity and masculinity. To shift these strategies to include non-heteronormative or queer users, queer theory served as a source of inspiration as well as user sensitive design techniques. As a result, a co-design workshop was developed and executed. Participants supported claims that gender scripts in designed artefacts uphold gender norms. The practice did not specify a definition of a queer design style. However, the co-design practice opened up the design process to non-normative gender scripts by unmasking binary gender dichotomies in industrial design.

The creation of the Guiding Principles on the Criminal Law of the RSFSR of 1919 is studied taking into account extremely complicated internal and external political situation in the country at the beginning of the twentieth century. Using the methods of analysis, synthesis, as well as comparative and historical method, the author determines the significance of the Guiding Principles in the law system of the young Soviet state. Some key norms of the document are examined. In particular, the definition of criminal law is analyzed and its advantages and disadvantages are identified. It is noted that the definition of a crime was formulated too broadly, and more significant steps in criminalization of different acts were made with the adoption of the RSFSR Criminal Code of 1922. It is indicated which persons were not punished according to the Guidelines. Attention is drawn to the way in which such a method of protection as necessary defense was set forth in this act. The Guiding Principles are not without certain disadvantages: for example, the institution of complicity is not sufficiently disclosed, there is lexical redundancy in the definition of the concept «planning the offence». However, the discrepancies between the main provisions covered in the Guidelines are explainable and excusable, taking into account the historical situation at the time of their adoption. The analyzed document became the basis for Russian criminal law, and some of its provisions are still relevant.

Samskara is defined as a process of bringing about a desired modification or establishing a change of property in a drug or group of drugs. In the process of Aushadhi Nirmana, varied number of procedures (Samskaras) are adopted to inculcate the desired dosage form and efficacy to the medicine. Among all Samskaras, Kaala plays a vital role in Ayurvedic pharmaceutics. Kaala is a constant factor which follows incoherently in every step of Aushadhi Nirmana. Active principles of plants vary in every season and at different quarters of the day. After the collection of drugs for a pharmaceutical preparation, Kaala plays its role during Paka of various formulations. The definition of pharmaceutics does not end with mere production of a dosage form but also includes its safety and efficacy. Kaala has the potential to influence both these factors. Thus, our Acharyas have provided meticulous information on Ayurvedic pharmaceutics giving prime importance to a minute, yet very significant aspect called “Kaala”.

This chapter explains in detail the current Hamiltonian formulation of SD, and the concept of Linking Theory of which (GR) and SD are two complementary gauge-fixings. The physical degrees of freedom of SD are identified, the simple way in which it solves the problem of time and the problem of observables in quantum gravity are explained, and the solution to the problem of constructing a spacetime slab from a solution of SD (and the related definition of physical rods and clocks) is described. Furthermore, the canonical way of coupling matter to SD is introduced, together with the operational definition of four-dimensional line element as an effective background for matter fields. The chapter concludes with two ‘structural’ results obtained in the attempt of finding a construction principle for SD: the concept of ‘symmetry doubling’, related to the BRST formulation of the theory, and the idea of ‘conformogeometrodynamics regained’, that is, to derive the theory as the unique one in the extended phase space of GR that realizes the symmetry doubling idea.

AbstractThe aim of this study was to examine the validity of the Gender Dysphoria (GD) diagnoses in the Swedish National Patient Register (NPR), to discuss different register-based definitions of GD and to investigate incidence trends. We collected data on all individuals with registered GD diagnoses between 2001 and 2016 as well as data on the coverage in the NPR. We regarded gender confirming medical intervention (GCMI) as one proxy for a clinically valid diagnosis and calculated the positive predictive value (PPV) for receiving GCMI for increasing number of registered GD diagnoses. We assessed crude and coverage-adjusted time trends of GD during 2004–2015 with a Poisson regression, using assigned sex and age as interaction terms. The PPV for receiving GCMI was 68% for ≥ 1 and 79% for ≥ 4 GD-diagnoses. The incidence of GD was on average 35% higher with the definition of ≥ 1 compared to the definition of ≥ 4 diagnoses. The incidence of GD, defined as ≥ 4 diagnoses increased significantly during the study period and mostly in the age categories 10–17 and 18–30 years, even after adjusting for register coverage. We concluded that the validity of a single ICD code denoting clinical GD in the Swedish NPR can be questioned. For future research, we propose to carefully weight the advantages and disadvantages of different register-based definitions according to the individual study’s needs, the time periods involved and the age-groups under study.
