With excellent economy and properties, pressureless sintered micron silver has been regarded as an environmentally friendly interconnection material. In order to promote its reliable application in deep space exploration considering the porous microstructural evolution and its effect on macroscopic performance, simulation analysis based on the reconstruction of pressureless sintered micron silver joints was carried out. In this paper, the deep space environment was achieved by a test of 250 extreme thermal shocks of −170 °C~125 °C, and the microstructural evolution was observed by using SEM. Taking advantage of the morphology autocorrelation function, three-dimensional models of the random-distribution medium consistent with SEM images were reconstructed, and utilized in further Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of material effective elastic modulus through a transfer procedure. Compared with test results and two analytical models, the good consistency of the prediction results proves that the proposed method is reliable. Through analyzing the change in autocorrelation functions, the microstructural evolution with increasing shocks was quantitively characterized. Mechanical response characteristics in FEA were discussed. Moreover, the elasticity degradation was noticed and the mechanism in this special environment was clarified.

In recent years, with the enhancement of overall national strength in China, the computer simulation technology has been developed rapidly and widely applied to engineering construction. Particularly, investment proportion of the technology in deep foundation pit engineering is immense. Yet affected by national conditions in China, the construction and application of deep foundation pit engineering have many extensive factors. It also results in insufficient vigor of finite element analysis of deep foundation pit support construction. In this way, construction problems arise frequently under the condition that there exist buildings around. With some deep foundation pit support engineering, the thesis conducts simulation analysis of the engineering through the technology of nonlinear three-dimensional finite element.Project profile

ABSTRACTThis paper is devoted to the laser irradiated joints between glass and polyimide. To facilitate bonding between them, a thin titanium film with a thickness of approximately 0.2 μm was deposited on glass wafers using the physical vapor deposition (PVD) process. Two sets of samples were fabricated where the bonds were created using diode and fiber lasers. The samples were subjected to tension using a microtester for bond strength measurements. The failure strengths of the bonds generated using fiber laser are quite consistent, while a wide variation of failure strengths are observed for the bonds generated with diode laser. Few untested samples were sectioned and the microstructures near the bond areas were studied using an optical microscope. The images revealed the presence of a sharp crack in the glass substrate near the bond generated with the diode laser. However, no such crack was observed in the samples made using fiber laser. To investigate further the reasons behind such discrepancy in bond quality, three-dimensional uncoupled finite element analysis (FEA) was conducted for both types of samples. The transient heat diffusion-based FEA model utilizes the laser power intensity distribution as a time dependent heat source to calculate the temperature distribution within the substrates as a function of time.

South pile foundation of Ma On Shan Yangtze River Highway Bridge is big, deep, soft soil, groundwater rich. In order to guarantee the safeties of the foundation, its foundation pit supporting schemes are compared, selected and calculated, finally lock mouth steel pipe support is selected as the design and construction scheme. The three-dimensional simulation analysis of the scheme is calculated by using MIDAS software, simulated four construction condition is presented, and stress and deformation results of retaining structure on various operating conditions is obtained. The calculation results show that the palisade structure basic satisfies the requirements of caps excavation and caps concrete construction. The results of construction show that the construction method, model and parameters used in this paper are basic right, the reasonableness of Supporting is confirmed and for the similar large foundation pit construction provides useful reference.

To further understand the bearing performance’s influence of the plastic deformation after balls and bearing rings surface multiple collision in ball bearing’s strengthening and polishing processing by the strengthening and polishing machine. ABAQUES software is used for finite element analysis in the three-dimensional modeling of multiple collision, and the plastic strengthen the performance of bearings is researched mainly. The results shows that the raceway surface is significant plastic strengthen in multiple collisions, Yield ability is enhanced largely, and surface residual stress state present for the compressive stress. Raceway surface strengthening process requires a particular number of times to ensure the processing, with strengthening processing times increasing, bearing raceway surface strength is saturated, then, the number continued to increase to strengthen, the surface strength is no significant increase. But after the collision of ball, uniform residual compressive stress is forming in the bearing surface, good for improving the fatigue strength and bearing life.

According to characteristics of WN gear multi-point meshing and double-arc tooth contact, the finite element analysis model of the WN gear drive is established by Pro/E and ANSYS modeling techniques. The contact way and meshing feature of the WN gear under the different conditions and parameters are studied by three-dimensional dynamic meshing simulation analysis of gear drive. The analysis model of contact strength at loading driving is established by three dimensional geometric contact characteristics and elastic deform theory. Impact of helix angle and center distance error in the calculation of WN gear contact strength on maximum contact stress is analyzed. The results show that increase of the helix angle and a slight decrease of the center distance can improve the contact strength.

Three-dimensional finite element model of the mine escape capsule is established. With the different values of explosion shock waves, simulation analysis of the entry locker is performed by using ABAQUS. The simulation results indicate that the mine escape capsule is safe and available if the surge pressure of shock waves is less than 3.5Mpa.

More and more irregular structure appears in people's lives, while the theoretical research and disaster experience show that the irregular structure in the earthquake will produce translation and torsion coupled spatial vibration, and sometimes it will cause very serious consequences. Being based on the practical engineering -the Castle Hotel of Dalian, this text makes use of finite element analysis software--- ANSYS. By analyzing the dynamic characteristics and seismic response, we get the self-vibration characteristics of the structure and the time history curve of top level displacement and acceleration of the structure under the effect of earthquake forces. The calculation results indicate that it is effective and reasonable to set up three-dimensional finite element model used for the analyzing of seismic response by ANSYS.

Blade is one of the main parts of aircraft engine. Its dynamic characteristics will produce important influence on the work efficiency and the operation reliability of the turbine engine. The paper used the theory of finite element to do modal simulation analysis on the dynamic characteristic of blade flutter, aiming at the phenomenon of serious blade vibration in the process of turbine engine running. Firstly, the paper generated a three-dimensional model by using the software UG. Then the three-dimensional model was leaded into the finite element analysis software ANSYS. Simulation analysis of the model was carried out by using the Workbench module of ANSYS software. Finally, we got the former six order natural frequencies and vibration modes of the blade. In addition, we got the blade's vibration characteristics. The results of the simulation could provide numerical basis for the blades optimization design and vibration safety inspection.
