The rapid development of information and communication technologies and wireless sensor networks has transformed agriculture practices. New tools and methods are used to support farmers in their activities. This paper presents a context-aware system that automates irrigation decisions based on sensor measurements. Automatic irrigation overcomes the water shortage problem, and automatic sensor measurements reduce the observational work of farmers. This paper focuses on a method for developing context-aware systems using ontologies. Ontologies are used to solve heterogeneity issues in sensor measurements. Their main goal is to propose a shared data schema that precisely describes measurements to ease their interpretations. These descriptions are reusable by any machine and understandable by humans. The context-aware system also contains a decision support system based on a rules inference engine. We propose two new ontologies: The Context-Aware System Ontology addresses the development of the context-aware system in general. The Irrigation ontology automates a manual irrigation method named IRRINOV®. These ontologies reuse well-known ontologies such as the Semantic Sensor Network (SSN) and Smart Appliance REFerence (SAREF). The decision support system uses a set of rules with ontologies to infer daily irrigation decisions for farmers. This project uses real experimental data to evaluate the implementation of the decision support system.

In the last decade the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have boomed in many sectors, such as business, education, commerce and have profound implications for the tourism industry. They are being used extensively in a great variety of functions and count innumerable applications. Among these, Decision Support System (DSS) plays a fundamental role for their capacity to give tourist managing their tours and to base all the decisions concerning to queries on the climate, road conditions, cultural aspects, lodging, health facilities, banking, etc. of the location to be visited on sound and rational bases. In the present paper, a Web-Based Tourist Decision Support System (WTDSS) for Agra City has been developed that allows the traveling community to find their route in city and ask for information about sights, accommodations and other places of interest which are near by to him to improve the convenience, safety and efficiency of travel.

With the rapid development of logistics enterprises, personnel decision management of logistics enterprise is highly valued by the relevant institutions and enterprises. How to correctly understand the core function of logistics enterprises, mining and build the core talent decision support system is one of the topics in this field to be solved. Firstly, based on the talent incentive model, we analyze the talent incentive process of logistics enterprise, and based on the characteristics of cloud database we construct personnel decision support system of logistics enterprise. In order to verify the practicality of the system, we use computer simulation to simulate the system. The results show that the system has practical strong, and ability of scientific decision-making is better.

Information and communication technologies (ICT) and e-business are affecting our economic progress, social development, and the environment profoundly and in a complex manner. As an emerging field of research, significant interests have been aroused but quantitative studies are rather limited. Traditional systematic approaches for impact studies have been found to be insufficient to deal with this research topic. In order to further explore the relationship between ICT/e-business and the environment, the approach adopted in this study aimed to simulate how ICT/e-business indicators interact with environmental indicators quantitatively. Owing to lack of data and information in the current area in government bodies/councils/research institutes, two questionnaire surveys were conducted. Details of the data collection progress are provided. An artificial neural network (ANN) approach, embedded in a more predictive and empirical model, is suggested herein as a new methodology and possible solution. Furthermore an expert decision support system (EDSS), built around these neural networks with a user-friendly interface and being able to post-process data to information, is developed. The system could be used, for example, by an individual company to analyze how its ICT/e-business adoptions influence its environmental performance.

With the rapid development of Agent technology, its application field, more and more widely. In this paper, a based on the Agent of the intelligent decision support system frame, that is, in the original decision support system based on building an Agent, thus increasing the DSS of intelligent decision making level, for the future of intelligent decision support system provides a new way of thinking.
