Creativity is the key to obtaining and maintaining competitiveness of modern organizations, and it has attracted much attention from academic circles and management practices. Shared leadership is believed to effectively influence team output. However, research on the impact of individual creativity is still in its infancy. This study adopts the qualitative comparative analysis method, taking 1584 individuals as the research objects, underpinned by a questionnaire-based survey. It investigates the influence of the team’s shared leadership network elements and organizational environmental factors on the individual creativity. We have found that there are six combination of conditions of shared leadership and organizational environmental factors constituting sufficient combination of conditions to increase or decrease individual creativity. Moreover, we have noticed that the low network density of shared leadership is a sufficient and necessary condition of reducing individual creativity. Our results also provide management suggestions for practical activities during the team management.

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Aims</strong>: The evolution of the economic and environmental context (low-input management practices, increase of energy cost and climate change) requires adaptation and/or optimization of winegrower’s practices in order to elaborate competitive and yet still qualitative wines. To adapt and sustain their practices at the plot scale (<em>e.g.</em>, rootstock selection or plantation density), winegrowers and viticultural consultants need indicators to predict vine development based on permanent environmental factors (soil, parent rock and landscape). As of today, such indicators are either nonexistent or too basic. The aim of this work is to develop operational and useful indicators based on strong scientific evidence.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Methods and results</strong>: This paper proposes a new approach based on a computer model composed of a cascade of fuzzy expert systems to estimate the two variables that best characterize vine development: vigor (VIG) and precocity (PRE). This model combines pedological expertise and data analysis. Based on scientific literature, and in particular on a previous expert system using analytical equations (Morlat <em>et al.</em>, 2001), the new approach allows a continuous estimation of VIG and PRE imparted by soil, parent rock and landscape. Further, it avoids the drawbacks of the previous expert system, due to the use of traditional crisp partitions for continuous input variables. Another novel aspect is the parameter setting, which efficiently combines expert knowledge and data mining. Finally, the method is tuned and validated against two different databases.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Conclusion</strong>: VIG and PRE imparted by environmental factors can now be evaluated more efficiently than with the former methods. The new method eliminates the need for post-evaluation correction by experts, which saves time. It also allows a continuous estimation of these variables. Each step can be controlled and analyzed during the design. Finally, the method is generic in the sense that the reasoning used to represent the relations between variables is not restricted to a given area. It can easily be customized and adapted to new areas by adjusting the parameters using local pedological knowledge and data.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Significance and impact of the study</strong>: This work answers the significant problem of VIG and PRE assessment according to environmental factors, which is a prerequisite in order to best adapt long-term cultural practices.</p>

Talent management process makes sure that the organization has sufficient supply of talented employees to meet the organizational goals. However, this aspect is important for organizations especially in the wake of the ever-changing business environmental factors such as political, social and economic factors. To undertake a critical examination of the changing dynamics in the field of talent management, the following research focuses on an analysis of the impact of political, economic and socio-cultural changes on the talent management process in oil and gas companies in GCC. As such, the main objective of the research is to undertake an analysis of the practices of talent management adopted in the oil and gas sector in GCC region and analyze the changing dynamics of the Talent Management process to suggest strategies to manage talent to improve the industry performance. Despite the advanced in the human resource management field, the talent landscape in the GCC region faces challenges in the talent management process such as talent acquisition, talent retention, and talent development. The following research focuses on the use of an empirical quantitative approach towards data collection and interpretation of the obtained data. The research advanced three hypotheses, which are tested in the research. The findings of the research provide evidence that the economic, social and political factors have a significant influence on talent management practices in this region. And it is important to consider the business environmental factors in managing talent by aligning organizational strategy with talent management strategy of the company. The implantation of technology by means of Artificial intelligence, HR analytics and automation will reduce the dependency on more employees and improving the value of HR in the organization by enlightening organizational performance and productivity with few talented employees in line with dynamic business environmental factors.

Irrigation Is Significantly Associated with an Increased Prevalence of Listeria monocytogenes in Produce Production Environments in New York State

Environmental (i.e., meteorological and landscape) factors and management practices can affect the prevalence of foodborne pathogens in produce production environments. This study was conducted to determine the prevalence of Listeria monocytogenes, Listeria species (including L. monocytogenes), Salmonella, and Shiga toxin–producing Escherichia coli (STEC) in produce production environments and to identify environmental factors and management practices associated with their isolation. Ten produce farms in New York State were sampled during a 6-week period in 2010, and 124 georeferenced samples (80 terrestrial, 33 water, and 11 fecal) were collected. L. monocytogenes, Listeria spp., Salmonella, and STEC were detected in 16, 44, 4, and 5% of terrestrial samples, 30, 58, 12, and 3% of water samples, and 45, 45, 27, and 9% of fecal samples, respectively. Environmental factors and management practices were evaluated for their association with terrestrial samples positive for L. monocytogenes or other Listeria species by univariate logistic regression; analysis was not conducted for Salmonella or STEC because the number of samples positive for these pathogens was low. Although univariate analysis identified associations between isolation of L. monocytogenes or Listeria spp. from terrestrial samples and various water-related factors (e.g., proximity to wetlands and precipitation), multivariate analysis revealed that only irrigation within 3 days of sample collection was significantly associated with isolation of L. monocytogenes (odds ratio = 39) and Listeria spp. (odds ratio = 5) from terrestrial samples. These findings suggest that intervention at the irrigation level may reduce the risk of produce contamination.
