Scientists have sought to stimulate plant growth using carbonated irrigation water for more than 100 years. The mechanisms by which carbonated water may increase plant productivity and the influence of environmental and cultural growing conditions on those mechanisms are not completely understood. Several greenhouse and field studies have demonstrated that carbonated irrigation water can increase crop yield significantly while others have shown that carbonated irrigation water does not influence plant productivity. It is unlikely that carbonated irrigation water will be recommended commercially until the conditions are delineated under which a positive and economically advantageous growth response is ensured.

For three years, field research has been conducted in the industrial conditions to study the effectiveness of the fungicide preparation Pictor during sunflower cultivation. It has been established that spraying crops with this preparation helps to increase plant productivity and increase yield capacity of two hybrids of different maturity groups of the company “Limagrain” LG 56.63 and LG 56.54 by 5.6 and 5.7 kg/ha (+ 18.6 and 19.0% ) respectively. The use of Pictor preparation also has a positive effect on the oil content in the grown sunflower seeds. Key words: sunflower, fungicidal preparation Pictor, yield capacity, oil content of seeds.

Abstract The relationship between plant productivity and species richness is one of the most debated and important issues in ecology. Ecologists have found numerous forms of this relationship and its underlying processes. However, theories and proposed drivers have been insufficient to completely explain the observed variation in the forms of this relationship. Here, we developed and validated integration models capable of combining twenty positive or negative processes affecting the relationship. The integration models generated the classic humped, asymptotic, positive, negative and irregular forms and other intermediate forms of the relationship between plant richness and productivity. These forms were linked to one another and varied according to which was considered the dependent variable. The total strengths of the different positive and negative processes are the determinants of the forms of the relationship. Positive processes, such as resource availability and species pool effects, can offset the negative effects of disturbance and competition and change the relationship. This combination method clarifies the reasons for the diverse forms of the relationship and deepens our understanding of the interactions among processes.

Ground nut (<em>Arachis hypogaea</em>) is a seasonal crop that have been cultured in many place as for interspace crop or as monoculture crop. Though the demand of ground nut is high, its yield productivity not optimal and still considerate as moderate. Therefore, a new treatment is needed. Boron is one of essensial nutrition for plant that rarely used when planting, although boron have many function including to increase plant productivity. This research is purposed to see about boron influence in the ground nut productivity and fat contain on it. The result of the research showed boron can increase the flowering time of ground nut. The result of ground nut productivity not shown any significant differences, but inclined to had increased productivity up to 20% than control in 5 mg B2O3 dosage and keep decreasing as the boron dosage increased. Boron also have real influence in increasing the ground nut seed quality with the increased of gound nut weight, and the calculation of fat contain in ground nut that also increased as the boron dosage increased.

Stress in caregivers may affect the healthcare recipients receive. We examined the impact of stress experienced by 45 adult caregivers of their elderly demented parents. The participants completed a 32-item questionnaire about the impact of experienced stress. The questionnaire also asked about interventions that might help to reduce the impact of stress. After exploratory factor analysis, we reduced the 32-item questionnaire to 13 items. Results indicated that caregivers experienced stress, anxiety, and sadness. Also, emotional, but not financial or professional, well-being was significantly impacted. There was no significant difference between the impact of caregiver stress on members from the sandwich generation and those from the nonsandwich generation. Meeting with a social worker for resource availability was identified most frequently as a potentially helpful intervention for coping with the impact of stress.

The analysis of present-time directions in the study of social development has allowed to identify the resource approach as the most productive one which enables to assess social dynamics through the range of resource characteristics of different population groups and abilities of the relevant groups to apply development resources in the current economic and institutional conditions. Basing on the sociological survey conducted by ISAP RANEPA, the quantitative estimation of material and social recourses of the population has been made; integral values of the resource potential have been calculated as well. The issues of social structure formation are analyzed through the aspect of resource availability; the barriers of Russian middle-class enlargement are defined.
