The medicinal plants that have been developed especially in East Kalimantan is the dayak onion (Eleutherine palmifolia (L.) Merr). The Dayak onion herb has long been used by the Dayak tribe as an alternative medicine.  Information of  the possibility of people affected by the disease and how to process Dayak onion ingredients , an expert system needs to build that is able to diagnose the disease and how to process Dayak onion ingredients. The result of this research is an expert system with Certainty Factor that helps the general public in early diagnosis of  ten diseases and provides alternative treatment solutions and ways of Dayak onion as an alternative medicine.

Errors that occur in solving problems in strawberry plants (Fragaria Xananassa) such as the presence of leaf patches, fruit rot, perforated leaves, and insect pests can be the cause of not maximum in harvest time. The farmers and the general public who planted strawberry (Fragaria Xananassa) need to know the proper treatment of diseases and pests so that future yields as expected. Therefore, it takes an application as a solution in the delivery of information related to the problems that are often encountered in strawberry plants (Fragaria Xananassa). Methods of production rules can be used to diagnose the disease strawberry (Fragaria Xananassa) based on signs or symptoms that occur in the parts of plants and strawberry, the results of diagnosis using this method are the same as we do Consultation on experts.  The purpose of this study was to determine the early diagnosis of disease in strawberry plants (Fragaria Xananassa) based on signs or symptoms that occur in the plant and fruit parts. The results of the analysis of this study showed that the validation of disease and symptom data in strawberry plants (Fragaria Xananassa) reached 99%, meaning that between the data of symptoms and disease understudy the accuracy was guaranteed with the experts.

Measles Roseola usually attacks infants with transmission from a sprinkling of sufferers' saliva. Roseola must be treated quickly because it can cause liver and brain inflammation. Roseola's disease for people whose economy is low is not given much attention because it is often diagnosed in severe or acute illness. This is because the red rash in infants is a common measles. Early diagnosis of Roseola's disease is a good way to avoid adverse consequences for the baby's health. The Roseola disease expert system is able to help low-income people to self-diagnose the disease. Roseola's disease expert system is applied knowledge gained from experts, namely specialist dermatologists in children. Processing of symptoms based on facts with the value and calculation of the Certainty Factor method. Certainty Factor determines good results by combining expert values and user values.

Nowadays computers are widely used in the medical world to aid in the diagnosis of a disease. The most frequently encountered Penyakityang adalahpenyakitTuberculosis. Therefore, prevention of tuberculosis disease begins with diagnosing dini.Salah a technique in diagnosing tuberculosis disease is an expert system. Therefore research inibertujuan construct an expert system that is used for early diagnosis of Tuberculosis disease by gejalayang in anguish. The system displays the amount of credence to the possibility of disease symptoms yangdiderita users. The value of these beliefs using Certainty Factor, because the CF is able to determine the value of trust in a greater uncertainty and be able to demonstrate absolute confidence.

Twano Health Center is one of the technical implementing units of the Jayapura City Health Office which organizes Health Efforts, but the constraints regarding the facilities and infrastructure of the Puskesmas are not yet adequate in supporting health services. Based on observations, the increase in the level of malaria sufferers in the Jayapura area is caused by parasites (protozoa) of the genus Plasmodium and the mode of transmission is through the bite of a female Anopheles mosquito. There are two types of malaria that are often experienced by Jayapura residents, namely Tropical Malaria (Plasmodium falciparum) and Tertiana (Plasmodium vivax). The purpose of this study is to create an expert system that can diagnose early diseases such as an expert or doctor using the Certainty Factor method which expresses belief in an event (fact or hypothesis) based on evidence or expert judgment in early diagnosis of Tropical Malaria and Tertiana. The research subjects taken were 5 patients who had symptoms of Malaria and 1 doctor to determine the symptoms of the disease) The expert system using the Certainty Factor method was used because this method was suitable in determining the disease, and the result was a percentage which was the level of accuracy in determining the patient's disease. Determination of the percentage is influenced by the MB value (a measure of the increase in confidence) and the MD value (a measure of the increase in distrust) obtained from the assessment of an expert. For data modeling using data flow diagrams (DFD) and website-based. Total accurate patient recapitulation results are 80% of the Expert System for Early Diagnosis of Tropical Malaria and Tertiana using Certainty Factor

Intestine is one of the organs of the digestive system in the human body which is shaped like pipes and act as gatekeeper food system for our bodies. Many people do not noticed his intestines health because they are too busy with his activity, or lazy to go to the doctor, even when hospital were many visitors there is also felt a lot of to waste time to queue up because they want to get their turn to be checked and a lot of costs to be incurred. This research discusses about creating expert system to diagnose intestinal diseases using certainty factor method.  Applications developed with Visual Basic programming language with MySQL as its database. The results of this research able to do early diagnosis of the symptoms that is felt system users, and provide diagnostic results such as type of disease suffered, prevention and its information.

The development of existing artificial intelligence technology has been widely applied in detecting diseases using expert systems. Dengue Infection is one of the diseases that is commonly suffered by the community and may cause in death. In this study, an expert diagnosis system for dengue infection is made by comparing between both Bayes method and Certainty Factor. The aims are to build an expert system using Bayes and Certainty Factor for early diagnosis of dengue infection and also to determine their level of accuracy. There are 80 data used in this study which are obtained from the medical records of Sekaran Health Center in Semarang City. The test results show that the level of accuracy obtained from 80 medical record data for Bayes method is 90% and the Certainty Factor method is 93,75%.

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by mycobacterium tuberculosis. It can affect some parts of the body: lungs, lymph nodes, intestines, kidneys, endometrium, bones, and brain. According to the survey of tuberculosis prevalence conducted by Republic of Indonesia Ministry of Health in 2013-2014, Indonesia was the second country in the world with the most case of tuberculosis. It makes Indonesia become a country with emergency in lungs tuberculosis. An expert system for lungs tuberculosis detection is built to help people detecting the possibility of suffering from lungs tuberculosis. Therefore, it is hoped that the lungs tuberculosis patient can have early treatment. Certainty factor is used to solve the uncertainty problem delivered by the doctor when examining the patient. Thus, certainty factor is an appropriate method to be used in the expert system for detecting certain disease. This method has been correctly implemented, proved by comparing system detection result to manual calculation result. The expert system has 81.25% accuracy, 83.49% success using DeLone and McLean model, and a cronbach alpha of 0.82 which indicates a good reliability based on the indicators used in the questionnaire. Abstrak   Komputer saat ini merupakan perangkat yang sudah menjangkau hampir sebagian besar masyarakat. Kemajuan teknologi dalam bidang komputer telah menjadikan komputer sebagai alat bantu untuk memudahkan pekerjaan manusia dalam berbagai aspek. Salah satu contohnya menghasilkan suatu pendekatan utntuk dapat mengetahui jenis penyakit yang terserag pada tanaman dengan menggunakan metode Certainty Factor. Sistem ini, dapat membantu seseorang untuk mengetahui penyakit yang terserang berdasarkan gejala yang ada pada tanaman serta memberikan solusi untuk penaggulangan atau membasmi penyakit serta hama yang terdapat pada tanaman wortel dengan metode certainty Factor.Dalam  upaya pengendalian hama dan penyakit tanaman wortel secara strategis, seseorang pakar dibutuhkan  untuk bertindak sebagai media bantu, mengingat terbatasnya pengetahuan para praktisi petani wortel dalam mengetahui penyakit pada tanaman serta memberikan solusi kepada petani untuk membasmi penyakit yang terserang pada tanaman wortel.Sistem pakar tanaman memiliki tujuan mengetahui jenis hama dan penyakit, gejala, penyebab, pencegahan, dan menyediakan alternatif solusi penanggulangan hama dan penyakit pada setiap tanaman. Sistem pakar ini juga akan dapat membantu untuk mendukung aktivitas dalam pemecahan masalah.   Kata Kunci: Sistem Pakar, Wortel, Hama dan Penyakit, Certainty Factor, Web     Abstract   Computer current’s is device that has reach almost large part comumunity. System’s, can help someone for know disease that stircken based on symptom that is at plant and give solution fo handling or eradicate disease and pest that there are at plant carrot with use method certainty factor. In effort pest control and plant disease carrot strategically, someone expert needed for act as media help, remember lomited knowedge some practitioner farmer carrot in know disease at plant and give solution to farmer to exterminate disease that stircken at plant carrot. Expert system plant have purpose know type pest and disease, symptom, cause, prevention and provide alternative solution handling pest and disease at every plant.
