Pengembangan rumput laut di Pulau Nain membutuhkan strategi untuk meningkatkan kembali produksinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan strategi-strategi dalam pengembangan budidaya rumput laut. Penyusunan strategi menggunakan analisis strategi pengembangan yang terdiri atas: analisis lingkungan, SWOT dan QSPM. Tiga prioritas strategi yang direkomendasikan untuk pengembangan budidaya rumput laut yakni: Mengefektifkan peran DKP dan lembaga terkait dalam pembinaan dan pengembangan SDM; peningkatan sumber permodalan usaha; dan  pengadaan pola kerjasama kemi­traan pasar. Kata kunci: strategi pengembangan, rumput laut, produksi, SWOT, QSPM, analisis lingkungan.   The development of seaweed cultivation in the Nain Island requires appropriate strategies to re-enhance its production. The objectives of this study is to determine strategies in developing the seaweed cultivation. Development strategy analysis was used as steps to determine strategy for the development of the seaweed cultivation. Analysis of the development strategy consists of: environmental analysis, SWOT analysis and QSPM. The three priority strategies for development of seaweed cultivation are as follows: Maximizing the role of DKP and related institutions in coaching and developing human resource; increasing the venture capital sources; dan procurement of market partnership patterns. The state of onion cultivation in the village is good enough, This village is economically advantageous to be developed and cultivated. From the results of calculations using SWOT analysis, then the values obtained from the analysis ofinternal factors (IFAS) by 2.80, then and for the value of the analysis of external factors (EFAS) by 2.76, meaning commodity onion has acomparative advantage the result is not only meet the needs of the region concerned but can be exported out of the territory Tabalong. The development strategy onion cultivation in Tabalong is aggressive strategy with more focus on SO strategy (Strength-Opportunities), by using force to take advantage of existing opportunities. Strategies (Strength-Opportunities): Develop and improve the image onion farming, develop agro-onion, optimizing groups for integrated pest management, improving the competence of the Human Resource, optimizing the coordination of relevant agencies, expanding markets for the products of onion.

This research intended  to evaluate the development strategy of Marine Fish Hatchery Unit at Gumilamo Island, North Halmahera. Analysis SWOT was used to determine the development strategy. Data were collected by questionnaire, interview and literature relevant to the research. SWOT analysis showed the internal and external factors that affected the development of Marine Fish Hatchery at Gumilamo island. The strenght were location, water quality , local government support, and availability of seeds and feed. Weakness were lack of public interest, lack of extension and human resources. Opportunity were the high value of the sale, business opportunities and  local government regulation. This article aims to analyze the policy strategies implemented for the commercial shipping development of the Apo Dock in Jayapura port to improve port performance towards strengthening the sea highway program. Apo Dock as a shipping commercial in Jayapura port has weaknesses as identified by the observation and the study of primary data. These weaknesses have resulted in price disparities for the Papua province as port functions well as a logistical hub. Based on the Strengthen-Weakness-Opportunity-Threats (SWOT) analysis results, it was concluded that the Apo Dock performance as the Jayapura Port Commercial Route was in quota I with a position (0.83; 1.44). The strategy used by Jayapura port to develop commercial shipping to be more efficient in accordance with its function as the strength-opportunity (SO) strategy. The SO strategy strengthens the commercial shipping function as a support base for the economic development centers and a government supporter in MP3EI, the commercial port facilities and infrastructure development were established in order to support all port activities and efficiency, and develop hinterland areas to maximize the busy and crowded commercial shipping hub.

In modern conditions of managing in the organizations introduction of innovative technologies in the sphere of human resource management becomes an urgent task. The most important factor of realization of innovative solutions of the tasks arising in modern collectives are personnel innovations. They are based on need of close interrelation of the development strategy of the company with planning of personnel; to assessment of extent of influence of costs for work with shots on economic indicators of production; formation of necessary amount of competences, professional skills for effective work in labor market. The main directions of innovative personnel technologies, and also forms of their realization in a control system are defined. The model of work with innovations in a personnel management system is offered. Dependences of introduction of innovations in human resource management with the solution of specific objectives, and also their basic orientations are established. It is claimed that a main goal of in human resource management, is providing the organization by the employees capable to the innovative ideas and technologies of their embodiment.

<p><em>Existence of Catur Eka Budi as a new product component in Bali’s tourism must be remaining to maintain. For continuation of all problems that emerge relate to marketing so that to overcome. With the result that this research discuses about Catur Eka Budi marketing strategy at Kesiman village, Denpasar Timur cities.</em></p><p><em>Aim of this research is to know of internal factor and external factor of Catur Eka Budi and next formulates its marketing strategy then formulated with several of marketing programs. Data was collected by observation, interview, questioner and bibliography study, later data was analyzed with Internal-External approach (IE) and SWOT analysis. The research result indicates that strength factor of Catur Eka Budi is the product owned by Catur Eka Budi, employee’s attitude, and appearance is good, facility is enough complete, beauty and building architecture is beautiful, hygience, ticket price is cheap and hotel distance to Catur Eka Budi is not too far. Whereas its weakness is lack of transportation to Catur Eka Budi, lack of promotion intensity, employees quality in informing about Catur Eka Budi and employees ability in English. Opportunity factor in marketing is its conducive on security in Bali, local society’s attitude, price level that given by tourism travel agent, rupiah rate is weak, modern technology utilization, level of purchasing power of tourist and supporting government. Whereas threat that pursuing is Travel Advisory from some countries, lack of local government support, threat entry of new comer, competition between object and the influence increasing fuel oil price. Based on grand strategy that analyzed with matrix Internal-External (IE), position of Catur Eka Budi is in cell IV, that means grow and construct that is human resource improvement through by training and course. Whereas alternative strategy that formulated by SWOT analysis namely product development strategy and improvement of huan resource. Based on the alternative strategy can be formulated some marketing program fundamental that are: mprove human resource trought by training, education, compensation, optimally website, set billboard or banner always cooperate with all parties that related to marketing of Catur Eka Budi, improve bonus and reward to the guide and it is maintaining market share this time.</em></p><p><em>Based on the discussion result can be suggested to marketing strategy of Catur Eka Budi that is improve product quality, target on market share and improve promotion, keep and cooperation improvement and improve education and training to employees.</em></p>

The purpose of this study is to examine the factors that play a role in the development of pempek quality favored by consumers and to study internal and external factors that influence the development of pempek processing industry and its implications for strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats as well as formulate alternative development strategies for Pempek industry.The sampling technique used in this study is simple random sampling with a sample area of 95 respondents consisting of 10 pempek processors (producers) and 85 consumers. Data processing is done by using factor analysis to know the dominant factor of pempek industry development. SWOT analysis is used to determine the development strategy of the pempek industry.The results showed that the factors that play an important role in the development of pempek industry are organoleptic factors consisting of taste, color, softness and aroma; Consumer prices, food hygiene and safety with regard to physical quality, chemical quality, shelf life and strategic location. Pempek industrial development strategy that must be done is by the application of practical and efficient technology, excellent products, hygiene and security, extension of marketing network through cooperation with marketing agents both at homeland and foreign countries, cooperation, restaurant, retail and supermarket, promotional strategy improved through Advertising, leaflets, radio, television, internet and publicity.
