Loneliness is usually defined as an unpleasant and emotionally disturbing subjective experience that occurs as response to the discrepancy between desired and achieved levels of social contact. The experience of loneliness is unpleasant and painful experience, followed by feelings of rejection from the people that we care, with simultaneous desire that they accept us and to be part of their lives. The sense of global life satisfaction stems from cumulative successes in a variety of specific situations. The measure of overall satisfaction with one's life reflects in addition to the successes experienced, the average level of mood of the person, that is, his emotional state over a long period or even throughout an individual's life. As such, overall life satisfaction is an indicator of quality of life and emotional adjustment. The main aim of this study was to examine the relationship between the life satisfaction with loneliness. The study was conducted on a sample of 200 students (82 males and 118 females) of various departments of the final year of Social Sciences and Technical Sciences at the University of Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The study applied the following instruments: The scale of general life satisfaction; The short version of UCLA loneliness scale. Quality of life and satisfaction with life as tightly interconnected concepts have become of much importance in the urbanism era. No doubt, it is one of the most important goals of every human society to enhance a citizen’s quality of life and to increase their satisfaction with life. However, there are many signs which demonstrate the low level of life satisfaction of Iranian citizens especially among the youth. Thus, considering the temporal concept of life satisfaction, this research aims to make a futures study in this field. Therefore, using a mixed model and employing research methods from futures studies, life satisfaction among the students of the University of Tehran were measured and their views on this subject investigated. Both quantitative and qualitative data were analysed together in order to test the hypotheses and to address the research questions on the youth discontentment with quality of life. Findings showed that the level of life satisfaction among students is relatively low and their image of the future is not positive and not optimistic. These views were elicited and discussed in the social, economic, political, environmental and technological perspectives. Keywords:  futures studies, quality of life, satisfaction with life, youth

The graduate attributes of the University of Sydney innovatively include the enabling conceptions and the translation conceptions of attributes and ensure that they are specifically oriented, reasonably structured and comprehensively designed. These scientifically constructed graduate attributes of the University of Sydney prove strong efficiency by the university taking up a high position in QS Graduate Employability Rankings in recent years. Chinese top-level universities, in the process of building world-class universities, also face the task of revising the graduate attributes and substantially enhancing the quality of talents cultivation, and can, therefore, learn the successful experience to revise their own graduate attributes on the basis of universities’ history, vision and specialty, on the premise of a sound cognition of the connotation, levels, and relationship of graduate attributes, and by means of System Theory, Phenomenography and comparative study.

National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) was launched on 29 September 2015 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India to rank the academic & research institutions across the country. The NIRF E-release of India Ranking 2020 was held on 11th June 2020. The present study analyses the top 100 Universities in terms of visualisation of data, the relationship of ranking with the parameters, and the relations among these parameters. Results of the study indicate that the Teaching, Learning & Resources (TLR) score for all the universities was almost similar while Research and Professional Practice (RP) score had a considerable variation and played a significant role in ranking by having a positive linear correlation with the total score with the value of R2= 0.746. RP also has a strong correlation with the Peer Perception (PR) of the university. The average library expenditure of top-10 universities was 9.45 crore per annum. It was also found that library expenditure has a positive correlation with RP and the universities with higher research productivity also have a more outstanding quality of publication in terms of citations.

The university as an institution plays a key role in its role in improving the quality of life of people. On the other hand, education is shown as a fundamental pillar to achieving an ideal configuration of a heterogeneous, diversified, organized, and inclusive society. Teamwork and respect among the people who are part of the academic community are reflected in the development of the teaching units that make up the Teaching Guides adapted to the European Education Area. With this premise, the objective of this research is to establish the interrelationship between inclusive education in the university and the tourism industry. To this end, it will be analysed to what extent the Tourism Degree curriculum contains subjects related to inclusiveness, particularly with aspects such as disability and mobility. A thorough literature review on this field of study and the analysis of real cases of a sample of Spanish universities is carried out.

Background. Entwistle Students’ Approaches to Learning framework and Kolb’s Experiential Learning Model has been widely used in higher education. Different inventories have been developed in order to adapt to different contexts and / or to supersede reported weakness. Aims. This paper aims to explore the profiles and approaches showed by a sample of Spanish accounting students as well as the relationship of those profiles with the academic performance. Instrument and Sample. The instrument consists of both the short version of the Study Process Questionnaire (SPQ; Fox et al, 2001) and the Problem Solving Style Questionnaire (PSSQ, Romero et al, 1992). The sample is composed by the students enrolled in advanced financial accounting and financial statement analysis at the University of Sevilla.

Education is a government effort to educate the people of Indonesia, as mandated in the opening of the Constitution 1945, Human resources education is an important factor for the success of an education that must be managed with the most, because with the management of human resources education this educational institution can produce quality graduatesto realize the quality of the college graduates are required a qualified HR lecturer through the management of human resources in the University of Kutai Kartanegara. Human Resource Management (MSDM) is managing recruitment, selection, awarding, efforts to maintain assessment and promotion of personnel to gain the welfare or sanction of the institutions. The research objectives are: (1) to describe the mechanism of HR recruitment. 2 To describe the efforts to increase HR capability. (3) to describe the HR career level. (4) to describe the welfare of human resources. (5) to describe the process of termination or termination of human resources at Kutai Kartanegara University. This method of research uses a case study method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are conducted with; Interviews, observations, photography, and documentation. Data was analyzed by the interactive model Milles Huberman (1994), namely; Data collection, data reduction, display data, and conclusion. Data validity checks are conducted to test credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability. The results of the study found (1) Therecruitment of resources lecturer in education and teaching is determined by the quality of lecturers. (2) Improving the resource capability of lecturers measured through performance. 3 Career Enhancement lecturer conducted with the implementation of college followers (4) Lecturers get guaranteed income, based on the performance report of lecturers (5) dismissal and sanctions system and award based monitoring, performance of lecturers using a written record system.

Burnout can lead towards challenge in social interaction and physical ailments. This study sought to determine the relationship of physical activity with faculty burnout. A total of 254 faculty members were surveyed from three public sector universities of southern Punjab region of Pakistan. Physical activity and burnout were assessed using IPAQ short version and OLBI, respectively. Findings indicated a significantly negative relationship of total score of physical activity with disengagement, exhaustion, and total burnout score. Physical activity level (low, medium, high) was significantly negatively correlated with total burnout score and subscale of exhaustion. The negative relationship remained evident between total physical activity and burnout after controlling for age, gender, experience, and academic qualification in partial correlation analysis. In addition, it was observed that burnout increased and physical activity decreased with increased age and job experience. These findings suggest that the interventions dealing with faculty burnout may consider physical exercise as a priority to prevent faculty burnout. More priority needs to be given to the faculty members with higher age and job experience.

The purpose of using the case method is instilling interest in a particular discipline in the University, adequate assessment by students of their limits, reduction of psychological stress experienced in the classroom, enhancing the quality of knowledge, establishing a special confidential relationship of the teacher and the student. The article presents the technology of using case method in the University.

ABSTRACTBackground: There is little empirical research regarding the relationships between identity and well-being in people with dementia. The aim of the study was to explore the relationship of identity with mood and quality of life (QoL) in the people in the early stages of dementia.Method: This was a cross-sectional questionnaire-based study. Fifty people in the early stages of dementia completed measures pertaining to different aspects of identity, mood, and QoL. Multiple regression analyses were carried out to determine whether it was possible to predict any of the variance in mood and QoL from aspects of identity.Results: It was possible to predict 12.8% of the variance in anxiety, 23.4% of the variance in depression, and 25.1% of the variance in QoL from different aspects of identity. Predictors varied for each dependent variable.Conclusions: Aspects of identity predict a modest proportion of the variance in anxiety, depression, and QoL. This suggests that supporting identity in people with dementia who are experiencing difficulties in this regard might have a positive impact on mood and QoL. However, the majority of the variance in mood and QoL must be accounted for by other variables.

Personality traits of older adults and their contribution to life satisfaction and generative interest were assessed. A total of 342 older participants (66% women), mean age = 67.89 years old ( SD = 6.52, range = 55–84 years old), who attended the University of the Experience in Salamanca (Spain), were evaluated. Information on sociodemographic data, perceived health and activity, personality traits, generativity, and life satisfaction was collected using self-reported questionnaires. Results confirmed a relation between personality traits, life satisfaction, and generativity. In addition, generative concern, neuroticism, extraversion, agreeableness, and conscientiousness predicted life satisfaction at this stage. Moreover, the role of personality on generativity was confirmed. Individuals with interest and agreeableness toward others, who are organized, persistent, and motivated, are more predisposed to generativity. These results open the way to develop intervention programs that enhance positive personality traits and generative interest to improve quality of life of older people.
